Uhm.. 4 gig here.. I think you need at least 3 GB if you want Vista running games smoothly. Mem running at 1066 MHz, not OC'ed(DDR2). CPU at 3,6 GHz (Wolfdale). You might want to OC yours a bit. Do you have a Conroe or what? Conroes and Wolfdales OC great, so if you have it, try it out.

Meh, creature creator trial is VERY limited. I now am not sure if I'm actually going to buy Spore. But actually using my little "Seven" would be pretty awesome I think. My Seven will fuck all sluts on the planet and will form a huge tribe. That'd be fun.

Oh, wow... Just noticed that the RPT got closed. Amazed that it actually reached above 100 posts, forget 16 000 (It's over 9000!). Anyway, yeah. The Netherlands kicked the asses of the French just an hour ago. They're doing suprisingly well. Never expected them to beat France and Italy.

And still they suck when it comes to overclocking. Intel CPU's easely can be OC'ed at least 20%. Until now I've reached 3870 MHz with my Wolfdale based CPU. Should easely be able to reach 4 GHz. It runs pretty cool thanks to my TRUE cooler (clicky. No fan is included. You need to buy your own fan. I bought one of Noctua). I'm pretty sure it's just the vcore. I actually lowered that from stock and after 3,6 GHz you really have to up it quite a bit. tl;dr: Intel > AMD. Though they are a bitch.. especially with those licenses for Nehalem. But really. Good price and exellent performance. Why would anyone go for the AMD platform if they're getting themselves a new mobo + CPU? And AMD's roadmap doesn't really look very exiting either to be honest..

You'de be an idiot to believe that. No way we'd ever get any good software if it was for free, except if the world were to be communistic, nobody would take the time. GTA IV... R* would do that for free? Uhm, no.

In the short time I played IV, I have experienced this. Not a car you've actually used, but if you shoot some guy in a car. Walk away for something like 20 seconds, BOOM, car vanished. True. But they should have actually given an option to have some loading times (like Vice City?) to reduce the pop up (same as pop-in?)

Windows is the same price as a PS3 game and it's even cheaper in the US. Expensive is the last thing Windows is. Edit: OEM of course. You'd have to be crazy to ever buy the retail version. 550 EUR (855 USD) for ultimate... Got my legal copy of Home Premium for just 85 EUR and I'm very happy with it. Wouldn't go back to XP I'll be trying out Ubuntu soon, just for the sake of knowing what it actually is (Wine support?)

GTA..... on something that's running the Atom? That thing is slower than my 5 year old desktop computer (and no GFX card I think. Not sure though).

ATM I'm using FF, but that's because of FireFTP. I use FF just for that, downloads (download manager) and a few other minor things. Firefox renders faster, but uses like 2 times the amount of RAM (according to Windows Task Manager). 500 MB ATM, while IE is just using 40 MB (but then IE has barely any tabs open right now. But when opening the same stuff, FF just uses more.) But yeah, I'm pretty neutral in choice ATM. Just boils down to the name I fancy most at the time, though I think I'm using IE just a slightly more often than FF.

In essence, he is right you know. Exaggerated, but right nevertheless. GTA IV has horrible pop in. The textures ARE blurry and the missions are rather repetitive. And of course it fucking sucks to see that vehicles/people ect. disappear when you don't look at them. I've hated that about GTA. Very, very true. Explosions look nice though. But in the end GTA is about the 'feel'. Driving around the city while listing to the awesome radio and creating you own little plots. I seriously hope Rockstar will up the textures for the PC version (since PC has over 10 times more RAM than a PS3 (though you'll be running a full OS too...)) and they'll fix the pop-up problem and the "disappearing" prob too. But even if they don't, I still will be getting the game. Even though it has so much (fundamental) flaws, the overall experience still is very entertaining and don't tell me you haven't actually had a smile on your face some time during the game, cause unless you're just an old jerk without a sense of humor or simply are deaf and can't read, you have.

If you thought he was already planing to do it, then you wouldn't suggest it. Unless you thought it really was something critical. That's all >_>

But who cares BTW, I think this topic is intended to be about the country that is the biggest threat to other countries and their population, not just their own (Anyone mentioned Zimbabwe?). Rusia has the potential, but they aren't (yet... if ever). Neither is the USA IMO. Of course, if you live in the middle east you'll probably disagree, but they don't pose a threat to the "Western civilization ".
