Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, announced today that they had reached settlement terms regarding all class-action lawsuits at the consumer level. What this means, of course, is that the settlement has not been finalized as of yet, but that several terms have been established regarding the case. Members of the class-action settlement will be entitled to exchange any '1.0' edition of San Andreas for the edited, 2.0 version, with the 'Hot Coffee' scenes removed, or $35, IF they can provide a proof of purchase that states the game was bought before July 20, 2005. Just move the save files from the My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files folder to somewhere else, uninstall and reinstall the games, the move the saves back.

Shit sucks. When Kaspersky scans, anything it detects it will give you an alert about. At the end of the scan you can choose what to do with each of the objects found. You can also add ANY object to an exclusion list so that not only will Kaspersky not touch it at all, but it also won't be picked up in future scans. I like it because anytime I download something from anywhere, I simply right-click it and scan it with Kaspersky.
