  1. As for the email and RSS feeds, does that mean that having your console connected would enhance gameplay? And, in real life, cars don't explode when flipped over, except in some cases. In-game e-mail/RSS feeds... Nice information, also spinners are pretty common nowadays in America. Stupid, agreed, but more realistic.
  2. The best part is the conversation about which whether the famous blind/deaf girl is Helen Keller or Anne Frank. Great movie.

    Half life 3?

Old picture is old, this is before it was announced that HL3 wouldn't be made.
  4. The Australian government feels that it has the duty to protect children from obscene material (lol) so they review video games and if they are too violent or sexual they are refused classification and not permitted to be sold. The US will never censor a game in such a way but again if a game is too violent or sexual then the ESRB will give it the AO rating, meaning it won't be sold in most stores. The British don't give a fuck and games rated 18 are still sold in stores.
  5. Nice job quoting a post over 3 years old.
  6. It WILL be released for PC. Rockstar isn't stupid. Also I dunno about the specs, I'd imagine that what I'm planning on having at the time will be sufficient: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Black Edition at 3.2GHz Corsair XMMS DDR2-800 2GB ATi Radeon 3850HD 512-mb 256-bit PCI-e 2.0 Because that vidya card can run Crysis at max settings, I'm sure there will be no problems with GTAIV.
  7. http://www.chrismods.com/Images/eloise_in_room.psd Yeah. You should get a sharper image of him.
  8. If you're blocking HTTP as well as other connections, you may see those come up if you're trying to access a site and there's an advertisement on that site for those companies. In PG2 settings make sure to set HTTP blocks to a different color than regular blocks. I have regular blocks set to red and HTTP blocks set to orange.
  9. I could get up to $35 as I have the original receipt but I would never do that nor would I ever give up my 1st edition copy of SA for PS2.
  10. You need to do the story missions. As you play through the story, the different islands will be unlocked so that you'll be able to get their without using a trick and be able to get 5/6-star wanted level.
  11. lol bias based on the company that manufactures the console rather than the console or its games.
  12. 8GB is actually around the content DVDs can hold, Blu-ray can hold 50GB+ depending on the amount of layers on the disc. But that's useless, because no game in existence comprises 50GB worth of content.
  13. You need to play the game until you unlock the other parts of the city, at the beginning you can only get a 4-star wanted level, once you unlock Staunton Island you can get 5-stars, and Shoreside Vale gives you 6.
  14. But the PS3 has blu-ray. So? Blu-ray doesn't matter, the public isn't adopting it like they adopted DVD. The public would rather use an up-converting DVD player or just download HD movies. Blu-ray didn't help the PS3...it caused the delay in production, rose the price, and fucked it all up. If Sony had not put Blu-ray in the PS3, the PS3 might have done better because of how much cheaper it would have been and how much sooner it would have been released.
  15. No, a hard drive cache is used as a buffer to speed up reading/writing to the hard drive. Besides, even if textures were stored in the hard drive's cache, today's hard drive caches are only 8-32 mb and GTA uses A LOT more than that for textures at one time. Did you just copy and paste the specifications from somewhere? The Cell processor does have several cores but it difficult to program a game to make use of even 2 to you'll not see any advantage of the PS3 having more cores.
  16. It's most likely that your processor can handle the game but since Fraps takes up so much cpu time itself, it can't handle recording and playing at the same time, resulting in lower fps. Try lowering your San Andreas settings when you want to record.
  17. The save you downloaded may be for a different version of the game. Make sure that both your game are for the same version (1.0 or 1.1)
  18. The fact that the PS3 isn't getting downloadable episodes has been known for months. And the rest of that article was just a fanboy being opinionated and old news. Of course developing for the PS3 will take some getting used to with so many cores, plus the bottleneck of 256mb of RAM...IMO the PS3 isn't a waste of time but it certainly hasn't succeeded like the PS2 did...then again the PS2 had equally shitty hardware but a great lineup of exclusive games, something the PS3 doesn't have. Microsoft stole Sony's dominance by getting rights to great games, exclusive games, and an expansive online service. But this is all besides the point. TL;DR: We've known this for months.
  19. No, don't request CD cracks, they can be used for illegal purposes. Use the .exe that came with the game and put your CD in the drive when you try to play.

    CS 1.6 vs CSS

Sauce is better, I do like 1.6 every now and then but I'm more used to the way Source handles things. Condition Zero is HORRIBLE. The ONLY thing remarkable about that game is the hostage AI, which should be ported to Source.
  21. lol Don't be bitchy about it. You probably won the first year because you were the only one that posted pictures. lololol Come on Spaz, you have TWO rows of medals. TWO rows! THAT's as much as TWO ONES! And THAT's terrible!
  22. lol fat chance of that, I doubt even GTA could REALLY drive sales of the PS3...much like it didn't drive sales for the PSP. I'm not insulting the PSP or LCS/VCS but those are two of only a handful of good PSP games. Also...the PS3 is nice but...256mb of RAM...Sony has a habit of not putting enough RAM in their consoles.
