Tommi Vercetti or Claude?Why?
chris82 replied to Liberty City Man's topic in General GTAVC Discussion
Yeah, that's probably not something they'll teach you in sixth grade, at least they didn't tell me that two years ago. Schools are infected with political correctness. Ugh. Anyway, I thought Claude was cool, but he just let people push him around too much. Usually, Tommy got revenge on each of his enemies. Revenge isn't doing to your enemies what they did to you. It's giving it to them twice as bad. -

Technically, yes you can be fully American if you were born in America. Race/ethnicity doesn't determine if you are an American. If you were born in America, you are an American. That's why these retards who call black people "African-Americans" make me sick. If a black person wasn't born in Africa, they aren't African. Anyway, I like Tommy better. More of a tough guy who doesn't let anyone push him around. -
Player.img has nothing at all to do with this. You're installing a skin for a truck, not CJ. Ok, so here, I'll give you a picture tutorial. First, open the zip file and extract monsterb.txd to the desktop Then open IMG Tool 2.0 and use it to open gta3.img in GTA San Andreas/models Press F2, type monsterb.txd press OK Next, within IMG Tool, rename monsterb.txd to monsterb_old.txd Finally, in IMG Tool, click Command, then Add, find the monsterb.txd you extracted on your desktop, and add it.

Good video. You know you can add the mod to our download database on the main page, right? It was a while before I could download it from FileLodge.
-
Yeah, don't use the mod installer. Instead, get IMG Tool from here. Then open it and use it to open gta3.img which is usually located in C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas/models. Press F2 and search for monsterb.txd. Rename it to monsterb_old.txd (incase you want to go back if you don't like the new one). Unzip the new monsterb.txd that you downloaded to somewhere. In IMG Tool click Command>Add and find the file you just unzipped. Double-click to add it. Start up SA and find a monster truck.

Provide a link to the mod and I'll see what I can do.

I saw an early version of this somewhere. It's really cool. I'll download it when I can (as Futurama is one of my favorite shows) but when I click on the link it gives an error.

PC for me, the original M-rated pre-hot-coffee-discovery version. I also have the original PS2 version, but I play the PC version a lot more.

Yeah, there used to be a result in google that came up around third when you searched for thegtaplace. It was only an IPB forum, but the admin's name was Chris, the site was called ThegTaplace, and he had the same avatar as Chris did at the time. He also copied a couple of our news stories. What a douche.

Yes, do that. It'll fix your problem. It doesn't take long, just do it.

Happy Birthday. Hope it's fun dude.

Let's count the reasons why this fake screen is possibly worse than the first one: 1) Messy HUD 2) 3D Radar (Even if Rockstar did do this, it would be more detailed and all-around better looking 3) Playing as a woman (Highly unlikely, considering that in every other game you played as a male, and Rockstar is smart enough to keep this moneymaking formula. 4) Not enough peds on screen 5) Driv3rish crappy graphics 6) Not enough detail on cars 7) Peds are all wearing recent-looking clothes, while all the cars look pre-80s. If you're going to build up hype for GTA, put more effort into it.

You can't really "turn off the missions," but you can access all of the areas of the city by using Edison Carter's CheatDevice to spawn a helicopter and fly to the other islands, or by downloading a 100% save game so all of the missions are already completed. Of course, in order to use either of these tools, you'll need to connect the PSP to your computer with a USB cable. If you have the PS2 version of the game, you need to get an action replay or similar device in order to get a 100% save game.

Yes, he is right, you need to model in the missiles, new windshields, etc... To model for SA, you need either 3DS Max (what Rockstar uses) or ZModeler 2.

Rumor of Gran Theft Auto 4 to use RAGE engine.
chris82 replied to viniciusdcs's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
Already been confirmed dude... http://planetgrandtheftauto.gamespy.com/ RAGE is t3h sex. -
If nothing helps, reinstall the game. If that doesn't work, we could use your graphics card info. Press start, click 'Run' and type in DXDIAG Click Display and tell us what is says by Name.
-
Yes, make sure to install the latest DirectX version and the latest drivers for your graphics card. If neither work, reinstall.

Uh, yeah. The shop is in alpha right now, which means that since we upgraded the forums, it doesn't have all of its features right now. But when it's ready soon, you'll take a quiz by clicking "play" under the corressponding quiz. If you get enough of the questions right, you'll receive money, which you can use to buy items.

I think it looks much more welcoming now. It seems prefessional and sharp. I like it! Just need those group icons...

In my opinion, GTA wouldn't be as good without him. It's his comedic style and voice that just makes whatever show he's on so funny. I hope he's still on talk radio.

Hunter. Powerful, fast, and beautiful.

Congrats, Gerard. Hope you have a good time. Just don't get too drunk...

Damn you. I have a Pentium 4 2.6Ghz. I want a 3+Ghz one so bad. I probably will get one this Christmas, along with a 7-series nVidia card.
