^ That's his problem. bob, if you keep doing the missions, Roman will give you his old phone. It won't even take that long if you just focus on the missions temporarily. Then you can get up to all kinds of mischief.

I'm about 12.5% complete, I don't want to rush things. Having said that, I do want the whole city open but I don't know when that'll happen. I just did the mission 'Logging On', where you go on the internet for the first time, and my current contacts are Roman, Brucie, Faustin, Little Jacob and Dimitri. I won't be playing it for a while today because I have work to do, but tonight I will do.

I'm currently still awaiting my copy - my mum has it ATM, she's at work and will then go shopping, so it'll be about 2 or 3 hours before I get to play it - nnnngggggh. I envy the rest of you who are playing it now. ;_:

I got the PS3 Standard Edition. I'm at Uni ATM though, so I can't get my hands on it yet. Besides, my mum has it at work so I couldn't play it even if I wanted to. Will post my first impressions in a few hours.

Are you trying to say that the DualShock3 won't be compatible with GTA4? Because I'm sure I've read a few articles saying it is compatible... I hope it is, I could care less about the awful Sixaxis controls.

I can't be bothered quoting myself each time, but I forgot to mention this last month: PS3: Uncharted: Drakes Fortune Motorstorm Gran Turismo 5: Prologue I also imported a Dualshock 3, can't remember which site from, though. Definitely not an English one, because it was quite cheap.

Logged in to make a quick post: I've seen several GTA gameplay videos, I even watched some dude playing it live over the net, and I don't feel like the game is ruined. It's just hyped me up even more. I steered clear of the crappy low quality vids on youtube, watched some vids from another site, and nearly shat my pants at how awesome everything looked - the water, the car handling, the shooting, and so many other things. That's my opinion anyway, not sure if other people disagree, but the vids I watched didn't ruin it at all for me. I'm just waiting for the release date.

Excellent footage, but it just leaves me wanting more. The car handling looks much better than previously, just jabbing the handbrake to go around corners was too unrealistic previously, but now it looks like they have real weight. I don't know what else to say, it just looks incredible. A few other points, when Niko smashed through the windshield, I thought it was cool, but it looks like high speed collisions are a no-no now. When the pedestrian started on Niko, that was great as well. I guess different pedestrians will react in different ways, and I only saw a little bit of the new radio stations font, but it looked pretty classy. This HAS to be re-posted as news.

Cool, the boxart at the back looks pretty similar to those seen in shops recently, I wonder if it'll change for the UK or US release? Nice pics though.

I pre-ordered mine from Tesco online for about £40. I would have used play.com or amazon.co.uk but both of them are out of stock ATM, and I don't want to miss the launch date.

Bladestorm - The Hundred Years War demo. It's actually not bad, despite being made by Koei, the masters of the 'huh, huh, huh!' genre (Dynasty Warriors). I also played a demo of Devil May Cry 4 earlier, and it's pretty decent.

Which Amazon site will you order from? For the UK version, it says; And for the American version, it says: The game itself comes out June 12th, so if you order from the UK site, you'd probably get the game on the 16th or 17th, depending on what delivery choice you choose. It doesn't say how long for the American one, although it will when you get the order form. EDIT: And maybe this should be in General Gaming.

For me, the one that stands out is 'Il Travatore - Anvil Chorus', you know, the classical song with all the chimes going off. You can buy the music in game using your mobile, so surely that will rate higher than the website? The only way to get hold of the music is to pay for it. Me, I registered but I doubt I'll use it that much. I'm not really a leaderboard sort of person, either. There'll be 30 second samples on the site when it's fully underway, so you can sample the songs you like and buy them.

Excellent design, this'll be my first PS3 theme. BTW, when the cursor is over one of the pics, will it still say 'Video', 'Game', etc? Because it'd be difficult to navigate without that. Probably a stupid question, but it's worth asking.

Alright, I registered, after a few frustrating minutes with Firefox - DON'T use Firefox if you want to register, the full page doesn't display for some reason. I'm member #54473, @ mark, it isn't just for music, there'll be online leaderboards for the multiplayer matches, amongst other things.
