I admit planes are a cool feature, but I bet once we get more info, everyone will forget about the absense of planes in GTA4, and talk about the cool new things. I never used planes a great deal anyway.

Unless there was another city, in a different country, or a city far, far away, I don't really see the point in planes. It's not a big loss anyway.

I agree. Rockstar are really good at what they do. IMHO even though games like GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas might be getting on with age now, very few games of the same genre can touch them for shear fun, and excitment. Remember we're talking about games that are 6, 5 and 3 years old. (Respectivly) If games of the same genre get bitch slappped by these, then what hope do they have against GTA4? In saying that I think Rockstar as a whole, is an excellent gaming company. I love Manhunt and Canis Canem Edit (Bully).

I think so to because in GTA1 it had LC, VC and SA only didn't it? Not only that, but one of the screenshots had a sign saying "Visit Vice City for $300" or something along those lines. Small hint maybe?

I think it would be so cool if there was like a cemetary or something, with the gravestones of those that died in LCS and GTA3. Actually I wouldn't mind if there was a small hint, of what happened to Claude. I think that's as far as including of past GTAs will go but. IMO

Me too. I'm 21 and still play video games. Not as much now, because I have more important things to attend to, but I still like it.

Judging by the pic that someone noticed, with a Chrylser 300c look alike, I would say it's set in 2005-2007.

Whilst the graphics of GTA4 are mind blowing, I don't think it's really a fair comparison to the GTAs on the PS2/XBOX. (Graphics wise) Can't believe how far this series has come, in the graphics department, from a less known top down action game, 10 years ago, into one of the most popular series of games, in the world. I never thought 10 years after playing GTA1, would it have come this far.

Yeah I know I'm bumping my own thread, but anyway.... Does anyone like remakes of classic horrors? There's a remake of Halloween by Rob Zombie coming out this year. Looks really cool. I thought the original Halloween was very tame, to the likes of most horrors from the 70s. Would love to see a remake of Friday the 13th of A nightmare on Elm Street.
