  1. My list 1: IV 2: VC 3: VCS 4: SA 5: GTA III 6: LCS
  2. Where's Eddie Low from IV? I know he's not a main story character, but he's the weirdest character I've ever seen in a GTA game.
  3. I enjoyed VCS more than LCS. I love the empire building. Anyway both VCS, and LCS were pretty impressive considering they were designed for the PSP.
  4. I think it's moderate. On my last save I passed Three Leaf Clover first go, and Holland Nights which I passed first go in my other save took me about 3 times to get this time. The cover system, and auto aiming definitely help. I remember going back to SA, and during "Sweet's Girl" I got killed almost instantly, because the aiming felt awkward. I'm attempting another save in IV, but with manual aiming. Should make missions like Three Leaf Clover, and The Snow Storm really fun. This is probably the first GTA that I haven't dreaded any particular mission, because I know I can usually pass them within 2-3 tries. I like a challenge, but I also don't want to get frustrated at attempting a mission over, and over again. It gets to the point where it's simply not fun. There were many times where I wanted to break my PS2 controller in half, because some of the missions in the old GTAs were so frustrating. The only ounce of frustration I got in GTA IV was on my first save when I couldn't pass Three Leaf Clover, and A dish served cold, not because I kept dieing (I passed it in 2 tries), but because when I did die I had to start all over, and that mission goes for about 20 minutes. Something R* needs to add in the next GTA is checkpoints, so these long missions aren't so annoying when you die or whatever.
  5. VC, and SA are pretty cheap these days. Get both.
  6. This is what people have to remember. Sure the consoles could handle more, but this was the first GTA EVER for this gen. I mean R* started off the same way, with GTA III. I reckon they weren't comfortable, and concerntrated on the core gameplay first. I can see the next GTA adding alot more, because R* have a feel for everything now.
  7. I know this is pretty old, but I would like to post. I agree. I think the sudden change has shaken up alot of people. I loved the old style aswell, but I would seriously have questioned R* as to why they played it safe, and not try something different, if it was the same old cartoonish GTA from before. Alot of people might not like the change now, but I have a feeling as time goes on they'll more than likely accept it.
  8. I don't particually with 10s across the board, but it was bound to happen one day considering the old GTAs were close to getting them too. It may lack features that SA had, but there was no way R* were going to add everything in their first GTA attempt for this gen. The way I look at it is what it lacks, it makes up for in other areas. I was just playing SA about a hour ago, and you can definitely see R* have tried to concerntrate on vital areas of core gameplay, without adding too many extras. The features will come, but people just have to have patience. I like the old GTAs for different reasons, and GTA IV for new ones. To me it still feels like GTA, just more grown up.
  9. I'm about 59% through, with 35 hours. I estimate I'll finish the story in about 40 hours. Depending if I get stuck or not.
  10. No side stuff to do? What about... Little Jacob's drug missions? Most Wanted missions (10 on each island)? Brucie's import/export car missions? Assassination missions? (If you're that far) Stevie's car theft missions (30 all up)? The 200 flying rats? The unqiue jumps? Roman's taxi missions? (Only available until a certain point in the game) The car races? Random character missions? There's alot of stuff to do, you just have to look for it.
  11. I had trouble the first few days, and I feel that I improved. I do admit some parts were boring, but I done everything they asked me to do.
  12. For the last few months I've been feeling down due to certain things. Last month I done a 2 week trial with a mechanic shop, and it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I've wanted to be a mechanic for years. Now after the 2 weeks my parents made me feel like the worst person in the world, because I lacked "enthusiasm" and "motive. I was starting to get better at the job, but was still to slow. Now the part of not getting the job bothered me, I just didn't like being downed upon because I lacked what I stated above, but I atleast gave it a shot, and it wasn't what I thought it would be, right? I mean I could've not done it at all, and sat at home all day smoking drugs/drinking alcohol (Whoch I don't do). Does anyone else feel like this sometime? Like the title, is a bad attempt at something better than nothing at all? Sorry for the uninteresting thread, but yeah........
  13. I thought R* only used Liberty again, because they didn't feel they captured New York City properly in GTA III. I'm suspecting we'll get some new cities, but a next-gen Vice, or SA would be awesome. Especially SA, since we haven't seen it since the original. (Original being SA)
  14. I'll take my time, and that means trying to spread out playing time. I'll try to play it for a couple of hours each day to get the most out of it. I find if I go hardcore on a game for a few days I get bored, so I'll try to even it out. Take as long as possible. Even if it takes months. SA took me a good 3 months to do.
  15. I would, if I had a 360. Since I just bought a PS3, I'll most likely get SR2. I love free roaming games. My favourite genre.
  16. I never played the original Saints Row, but it looked good from the videos on Youtube. One thing that has disturbed me is how people say Saints Row's graphics are better than any GTA. WTF? It's on a next-gen console, and GTA has never been about graphics. For what it's worth, it just goes to show that these GTA clones that are much newer, can still only just match a 3+ year old GTA game.
  17. I drink both Coke and Pepsi.
  18. Knowing R* they would probably call it "Rockstar Slaystation/Sexbox" or something.
  19. Sorry to burst your bubble mate, but Holdens aren't exactly what you think. The Barina, Captiva, Epica etc in the current Holden range are all Korean, and the Commodore from 1978 to 2006 was a warmed over German design. Many other models also came from overseas, or had international influence. The Kingswood is the only Holden to be fully Australian made. The Ford Falcon was an American design up to 1972, but has been completley Australian since. (Still using some foreign parts though) Both Holden and Ford are owned by American parents (GM for Holden and The Ford motor company for Ford).
  20. Every time I listen to "Run to you" I always envision Tommy cruising down Ocean Beach on a Freeway on a nice night, with the neons of hotels glistening in the night.
  21. A GTA set in 2002, after the events of GTA III and all others. There's still so many questions left to answer. Who took over the Leones? What did Claude do? Is CJ still alive? Is Tommy still in rehab? It would be cool if there was a GTA that combined a bit of III, VC and SA to tie up all the loose ends. GTA: Loose ends? Yeah name sounds corny, but I couldn't think of another.
  22. The real question remains, what the hell were you punching a door frame for? lol
  23. Couldn't have said it any better. Scarface is still an awesome game. Actually along with TC: NYC it's a very good GTA clone, but it's still no GTA. GTA 4 life!!!!!!!
  24. Not sure if GTOs have the LS1 or LS2, but I know for a fact the LS1 is 346ci. Which still equals to 5.7Ls. Alot of people over here get mixed up with that too.
