Actually you can put a comma there. You're ending the subordinate clause ("In forums and regular writing..."), and separating it from the main clause ("I always do this"). You don't have to, but it helps people understand what you're saying, as it is much more like the natural pause in speech. The general rule is to use a comma if the adjective clause is optional. However, as for "I always use grammar" - even when spelt correctly that makes little sense.

I'm using Fireworks CS4, which works fine. No reason why the rest shouldn't work.

UO - all your recent posts seem to be showing up both in the search and in your user profile. Can you find a specific example of a 'missing' one? Butters - You realise if you're posting in the Fun and Off Topic section, then your post count doesn't go up? Sure that's not the only thing that's happening. Your postcount is showing as 612 now, just so you can check whether it goes up.

As always, you will need newer graphics cards to take full advantage of newer games. That has always been true. Whether it is simply for technical reasons (newer cards have higher performance), sometimes there are specific graphics features that require newer cards. Usually using an older previous-generation graphics card just stops you using some of the more clever effect, like a lot of particle physics that comes with current DX10 cards. But the games should almost always still work with slightly older cards (eg DX9 cards). It's not as if suddenly from next-week onwards ALL games will FORCE you to have a DX11 card. Most people won't get a DX11 card for at least 18 months from now, probably a couple of years, but DX9 and DX10 cards should still work just fine until then.

Yeah my normal mouse wouldn't scroll on 7 either. But when I bought a new mouse, I installed the drivers, and it works fine. So I assume it's just a driver issue?

No... it says if you have Vista SP1 then you can UPGRADE to this beta of Windows 7. As in, turn Vista into 7, instead of having to install 7 from scratch.

When you enter safe mode, before you log in, it pops up a message saying "do you want to use system restore". THe only reason that wouldn't show up is if you had System Restore turned off, which would be entirely your fault! You may have an option to use safe mode listed when you use F8 on bootup?

You can't really judge an OS by looking at it. Yes it has some shiny features, yes a lot of it looks like Vista. But do the features work? Does hardware work with it? Does it crash much? Is it fast to load stuff? Does it take ages to startup/shutdown? Plus if you're using it in VMWare, you can't test performance at all. Vista had a lot of pointless shiny features, and a lot of pointless backend stuff (like IIS), but missed out on being usable, and after any period of heavy use it just gets crippled. 7 is better than Vista no doubt. But it might just be better than XP enough for people like me to finally upgrade.
