Google have brought back an index from 2001, to celebrate being 10 years old. Try searching for modern terms like iPod or Sarah Palin or even GTA, and you get very different results. Visit

Lol silly question. If it was attractive, then I would, provided it was safe enough. Regardless of gender or risk of fertilisation.

Make sure you have deleted the savegame folder in my documents too. If you have uninstalled, deleted the rockstargames folder, and deleted the savegame folder, then there is nothing left on your machine. It will not have any effect on a new installation of the game. If you then install it and it doesnt work, that is because the new installation has failed. Perhaps your disk is scratched, or your hard drive is full, or something. If everything is deleted before you install then the previous installation of GTA has nothing to do with any problems. As said above, do not spam the forums, even in what you might consider an "emergency" like this. And don't go round PMming staff with questions like this - there are loads of people every day with problems and we can't respond to everyone, we don't have the time. PMing GTA-related questions distracts staff from dealing with real forum problems, and puts the forum at risk.

You probably ticked the "invisible" box when you logged in. That would stop you showing up as online.

There are a few inaccuraccies in your post. Firstly, mass and density aren't separate things. Density is just mass in a particular volume. The other big thing that affects it is distance. Secondly, you say we can't prove anything with antimatter cos we don't have any. That's not true, we've been making it since 1995. You say mass/density causes gravity, and thus cancelling it will negate the effect of the gravity. This is a bit lopsided. The mass of (say) the planet causes the gravity which pulls anything else with mass (eg us) towards it. This is where weight comes in, with the mass times the gravitational force. As you have all hinted at, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. This is the key, and so beating gravity is very simple. We can slow down the effect of gravity by exerting some upthrust. Imagine a parachute, or even just plain old resistance of a person in the air. The air exerts a force on us, which removes some of the effect of the gravity, so we fall slower. We can equalize the force completely by standing on the planetary body - such as the ground or a building. This stops us moving down at all, so the force pulling us down is equal to the force holding us up. We can overwhelm that balance by using more force to push ourselves up, by jumping or using a lift/elevator or aircraft etc. So the force pushing us up is greater than the force holding us down, so overall we go up. We can also 'float' in a gravitational environment by free-falling. If we were inside a box which was falling through the sky, we would fall at the same rate and be able to float around inside that box (relative to the box) with very little effort. But anti-gravity means defeating gravity without this opposing force. Antimatter acts the same as normal matter - it has positive mass and positive energy content, and thus reacts the same to gravity as normal mass. If gravity was carried by gravitons (like light is photons), then it stands to reason we could have an anti-graviton. However the existence of either of these has not been proved, and all experiments so far have failed. Mathematically it also fails to fit into the unified theory with the four forces (strong, weak, electromagnetism, gravity). Negative mass is a funny concept, but it doesn't seem to fit into our main existing theories, most notable general relativity. There's a funny quote at WP which outlines one of the problems: And before you start talking about levitating frogs, that's simply diamagnetism, which creates an opposite repulsive magnetic force.

This subforum is for helping members on this forum, not general internet problems. If you ask in the relevant subforums, someone might help you make your mod. Or you could start to learn how to do it yourself, which we have a lot of guides for.

...I think he was being slightly sarcastic Of course you are special, you have a welsh flag under your name. Not many people would admit to that in public.

Lostprophets, Stereophonics, Hoosiers, the Kooks... Full lineup here. I only went to Weston on Sunday (the left column). Was awesome. My eyes still hurt from Muse's fantastic light show. I'm a lighting designer myself, but that was just something else. Check out their entry: And the start of Knights of Cydonia:

...read the second sentence you quoted. I suggested we have one each. That's equal, just separate. Loads of you want an NSFW thread or total porn subforum or whatever, so I say why not.

I'm not sure where you would draw the line. Is it okay to rush humans to hospital whilst massively speeding, driving dangerously and being on the phone? What about dogs and cats? What about a pet rabbit or mouse? Llama is right though - if he'd caused a truck to swerve and it caused a pileup which killed ten people (it happens), he'd have been the idiot and sent to jail. A cop that lets that happen doesn't deserve his badge. If he'd been doing 80 or 90mph, but driving safely, I'd have let him get away with a quick ticket. If it was a human, I'd have taken them myself. Thing is, would he have got to the vets in time if he'd been driving pretty much normally?

I know a guy who is totally gay, but he likes women instead. Seriously everything about him says "gay", from his music tastes to what he drinks, but he actually isnt. His favourite song is I Kissed A Girl, and I believe he actually did! On another note, I think we should have a gay subforum for all us delightful people. Then you flaming heteros can have your own NSFW place for wimminz.

Just come back from the V Festival - Muse were absolutely mind-blowing. All the main songs, but with Dead Star and Space Dementia in there too. The light show was phenomenal and the guys looked like they really enjoyed themselves too.

Developmag have got themselves a very rare interview with Rockstar Games President, Sam Houser. They cover the impact of GTA IV, the direction of the industry and Rockstar's internal ethics and beliefs. Here's a few interesting quotes: Read the full interview at Developmag: Part 1, Part 2

I get to see Muse on Sunday at the V Festival!! Getting psyched

You do realise that you can set a reserve on ebay? If the final bid is less than (say) $500, then the sale won't go through.

Chris wasn't joking, he's admitting than even TGTAP has its flaws. We do have problems, we do have annoying noobs who spam, there are lots of things we aren't good at. But we're still better than GTAF. Thomas - yes I'm waiting for that too. It's a race between Ice and S-V, and my money's on Ice.

Just means your browser is still caching the old image. Do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 or Shift+F5) or restart your browser, that should clear it. For me it's showing "It sucks I don't have a personal photo, doesn't it"

Problem is... noobs have friends. Even the idiots at your school will have friends (who are also idiots). Noobs here will be voted up by other noobs, who think they are funny/clever or whatever. And in fact, most normal people won't bother rating because its meaningless. I never rate anyone. So that instantly means that the people I like will have a lower rating.

Not true. That may be what it is intended for, but there is nothing to regulate what people think or vote. 99% of votes won't have anything to do with the decency of the person, but just how much of a friend to the voter they are.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN U DONT GOT ANY PIE IN HERE?! JOKE
Gerard replied to garyrai's topic in GTA3 Gameplay & Help
Why did you reply to this? It's from May. As for the OP: no it isn't funny, and you need to calm down. Don't shout in capitals either. -
Simply because most of them are old and out-of-date; and a lot of them need to be explained a lot better. We've been working towards it for a while now.

Not quite. I believe that the Universe is infinite, but theres only a finite amount of matter in it. Aka you COULD go on forever but there's nothing there, just space/spacetime. That's very different to saying that infinite examples of everything exists. However, I actually prefer the looped spacetime theories, although I'm still not fully convinced.

He's saying put "I have returned" in his signature, instead of making a topic. We have considered a rule that says nobody with less than (say) 200 posts can make a leaving or returning topic. And making a single topic for birthdays.
