I believe friends work both ways - so if they accept you they automatically become your friend. They don't have to add you back. Your friends are listed in your profile on the right (click manage to see them all). In the top of the middle column you should see several tabs - click on "Friends" there to choose accept yours.

That's wrong. You breathe because your body needs to - that isn't instinct, that is a biological necessity - a reflex. You don't think about breathing or your heart beating, in fact you couldn'tt stop it if you tried. Instinct is pre-programmed behaviour. To quote Wikipedia: "Instinct is the inherent disposition of a living organism toward a particular behavior. Instincts are generally inherited patterns of responses or reactions to certain kinds of stimuli. In humans they are most easily observed in behaviors such as emotions, sexual drive, and other bodily functions, as these are largely biologically determined" For all the psychologists out their (such as myself), Sigmund Freud coined the term "innate bisexuality" to propose that all humans are born bisexual (having a non-specific sex drive) but it is through psychological development (internally and externally) that they become monosexual. On a related note, I found this article which says that sexuality determines what smells you like. I always found it weird that I found male BO quite alluring (unless stale) but that everyone else thinks it smells like shit. Strange.

Hang on - you are saying that because everybody does it that proves it is instinct? What about the rest? What has happened to my instinct? Sky was saying that I was born with straight instinct but that it has changed to become gay. I think that I never had straight instinct, and for some reason that was always gay. For a start, it isn't 99% of people that are straight - it's more like 90%.

Sky just said to me on msn that he thinks that all humans have the same instinct, and gay people simply think differently, and their thinking patterns have been since they were born. I have to disagree, quite simply because my instinct tells me that guys are hot. Nothing about girls turn me on at all, and we all know how strong instinct is. Instinct governs most things that we do subconsciously - everything from breathing to survive, to crying when we can't find our mothers. I have not overwritten my instinct to say "actually no its not girls that are hot, its boys" - that would have to be some very very heavy manipulation to even make me consider that.

Firstly, don't explain things you can never understand. You can suggest that MIGHT be how it is, but you will never know. Secondly, gays aren't "corrupting" anything - we aren't spoiling or changing anything. Just because the people I happen to stare at have short hair instead of long, doesn't affect other people. If you walk past a gay person in the street, does that make you any less Christian? Is it a sin for me to exist? Corruption is where people deliberately go against God, where they try and stop other people believing in God - that is not what we do. I was a Christian until fairly recently, and because I disagreed with ONE thing, that does not mean i am "corrupting what god intended the world to be" Thirdly, in the Bible it (bluntly) says that men should not have sex with each other. It admits that men may have homosexual thoughts, that is only natural (for them) Fourthly, I don't think it make any difference if I became gay because of my genes, because of something my mother ate when she was pregnant, because I went to an all-boys school for the best part of puberty - the thing is it has been entirely natural for me to be gay. For the entire length of time that it has been possible for me to be sexually attracted to boys, I have been. Makes no difference if the switch was flicked before I was born or after. Fifthly, if God made everyone perfect, that would be boring. Obviously God wants to make things a bit more exciting, so he let some people be evil, he let some people be prejudiced and total dickheads, and to just spice things up a bit he made some people homosexual. Free will is just God having fun with chaos. If we have free will, how come God knows (in his book) exactly when someone is meant to be born and to die. If someone was meant to die today, would it be a crime to kill them? If someone killed someone, couldn't they just say it was obviously his time to go, because that is when he died. Without free will, nothing makes any sense. Stereotyping How the hell can you "encourage" someone to be gay? It isnt a choice or decision or anything. And don't even THINK of suggesting that gay people can just find a woman and get married and have kids anyway. If being gay was normal, would you have sex with a man just because someone "encouraged" you to? Stop bloody commenting on stuff you don't understand. Seriously. Most animals, particularly humans, have a sexual instinct. For some reason, mine got fucked up along the way.

She isn't saying there's a certain age before you can know what you are, she's saying that often you can't be sure. Even if you think you are totally one thing, you might not realise that you're something else until later. This could be years later, as I know a few adults (in their 40s) that have eventually realised they're gay and came out - it happens to politicians too. So yeah we're just trying to scare you into thinking you're gay

gta3.img is the file that stores the models and textures of all the cars, buildings and pedestrians in the game. If you modify a car, you modify that car's files (one TXD texture file and one DFF model file) inside gta3.img Because it has all 200+ cars, all the pedestrians and every single building and piece of road etc etc, it is an absolutely massive file, so we can't put it up for download on its own. However, we could offer the individual cars (their DFF and TXD files), but there are loads of them.

I meant you didn't need to check whether the exes were available for download - it is obvious that they wouldn't be, and that doesn't change with anybody's opinion at Rockstar. As for the other files, they have been shared for years, and so long as they're only being used in copies of GTASA, then there is nothing wrong with returning them back to people who already own it (but deleted it accidentally).

He wasn't suggesting distributing all the files - I just mentioned it so other people wouldn't ask. You don't need to "contact" Rockstar for that.. their T&C is perfectly clear. And whose "opinion" would you be asking? It is the decision of Take2's Board of Directors whether to make one of their most popular games available for free public download. Not a chance. He was asking whether all the original game vehicles could be offered up for download - that would probably be impractical due to the amount of them (hundreds), so would probably be best to either offer only a few or just when people ask for them.

This is something I've thought about before, especially since a few people keep asking for xxx.txd or whatever they've broken. People really should back up BEFORE they mod. gta3.img is a massive file, so would be impossible for us to host and for most people to download in a reasonable amount of time. As for the individual DFF and TXD files inside, that is something you can backup when you're modding (just export it before you add in the new one) - takes two seconds. Also, don't forget that it is illegal for us to distribute the copyrighted content that makes up some of the technical end of the game's files, in particular the executable. Maybe if we made "mods" of the default cars - downloadable and installable just like other mods, but they install the cars that used to be there - that would be useful. We'd just have to make only the cars that people often replaced - such as crap cars. Although perhaps there are just too many files for this to be useful.

All the existing mods will be transferred across to the new system. Hence Chris was talking about halving the existing ratings automatically to get out of 5 instead of out of 10.

That's fair enough, I just find it off-putting when people go round saying that about themselves. The way I see it, if you really were hot, other people would say so - if you have to say it yourself, then other people probably don't agree.

Don't forget that you can install any San Andreas car mod onto any car - it's pretty easy to change which one it installs for. At the moment I'm using the Lamborghini Gallardo over the top of the FBI Rancher. So mixing and matching is good

You can make any San Andreas car mod replace the greenwood.

You have to find the existing car name (for the car you replaced) in American.GXT. For GXT Editor, there's a slightly tricky method of changing car names. In the top list, you pick the top item (i think) then find the car's name in the second list. From there you can edit the name, click Apply and Save it. Check the readme of the GXT Editor for specific instructions.
