Recreating the Gay Tony logo
MrLlamaLlama replied to Huckleberry Pie's topic in Graphics & Writer's Pad
Knocked this up quickly inbetween cuppas. The effect's not spot-on, and the sparkly bits aren't great, but you get the idea of how the layer structure works, and how you have to keep applying layer styles to text, rasterizing, applying new styles, rasterizing, etc etc. PSD for your convenience.Clicky. -
Tequila. Slammers ftw. Tea or Coffee?

How's this for a site layout?
MrLlamaLlama replied to Huckleberry Pie's topic in Graphics & Writer's Pad
Would look nice if you could get the onhover animations and stuff right. Also, i'd make the text a little more in perspective. -
ITT - Llama predicts religious debate. Anywhooo... the only way i conceivably believe in any 'afterlife' is that when we die and rot into the ground, the stuff that kept us alive (flesh, organs, ass, etc) is eaten by other living things and the nutrition sustains them for a bit longer. If you wanted to go that sciency into it.

The way i am (Danny lohner remix feat. Marilyn Manson) - Eminem

It's O.K - Eminem. Old school shit, 1996.

I win. Edit: ROFL i tested again, and the packet loss test failed, got a B+

Freezing conditions, perhaps?

I think it's more of a case of using a translator. And rofl at 'i can run GTA2, why not GTAIV?'
-
Find your gta3.img, right click it, go to properties, and un-check 'read only' Should fix it.

lol, i too hate Drama people. Like, they justify being assholes by saying ''we're naturally energetic and are extroverts, it's who we are'' No, you're just asswipes. As for advice, some kind of trap, where the bait is an opportunity to be immodest.

You'll have to reinstall the game to get those files back. It's against our policy to upload files of this nature for legal reasons. Also, it's a preposterously huge directory for someone to upload.

It won't work on your PC. Not even on low. Your system's not designed for running current high - end programs. If you really want to play GTAIV, it's probably a better strategy to go for a 360 or PS3 if you're not planning to replace your current computer. Would be cheaper and more convenient for the non - computer savvy than a PC capable of running IV.

ITT Llama and Gerard should agree to take turns to answer queries.
-
It won't be a really full-on thing, since all the other subforums are doing it, the forum should (hopefully) be a generally more friendly place anyway. Whenever you're in a forum and you think 'FFS why are people arguing' - you can just come out with it without getting the 'stop trying to be a mod' thing thrown at you. Some people might not want that, and nobody's expecting anyone to want to do it.
-
It's not overly serious. It's for people who want to lead by example for the better. The responsibility is less than being a mod, and there's more scope to chill out and kick back elsewhere in the forum.
-
If you were the boss of 'The Next GTA' it would be your responsibility to direct the subforum in a positive way. Say, someone makes a thread like this. You'd judge whether the topic was pin - worthy, based on how positively it's affecting the forum. Right now it's a friendly, practical poll, and a great way to share opinions and discuss. You'd pin this thread, maybe post something like 'Great thread [xxx], nice' then continue with your post. Say someone posts a thread like this, though. The guy is well entitled to his opinion, but you see that it might descend into flaming. If it was too late to steer the topic positively, you'd try and diffuse the flaming, just make a post asking people not to be so forthright and offensive with a new member. It's, in essence, your job to keep your forum looking the best, most positive, most productive it can be. Make sure people find what they're looking for, and de clutter anything that's having a negative influence on the forum. However, unlike a mod, who can just throw his weight around and delete member's posts if they're stupid, your powers would be limited to verbal actions, asking people to post more efficiently and conservatively, or encouraging good, positive discussion. edit: Grrr Gerard, spent all that time writing and you undercut me...

What you need to do is this: 1. Right click on the program in your taskbar. Select the option that says 'move' 2. DO NOT move your mouse. 3. Tap the right cursor key, followed by the down cursor key. 4. Click, and the object should appear right away. Hope this helps.

I just think that it's not right to put a child in that position. Children often have a different way of loving their mother and father, and for a child to bond with their father in this way might affect it psychologically some way down the line.

Modern medicine is based on man's will to survive, just like ANY OTHER LIVING THING. And just like ANY OTHER LIVING THING, humans' respective genders perform different and specific tasks based on most efficient use of their anatomy. Women are designed to birth, nurture and care for a child until it can fend for itself, that why they have breasts, vaginas, a certain disposition, and the ability to breastfeed.

Also, now I've overcome the initial comic impact stage, I've realised that fast cars are natural. They're a way of satisfying man's need for adrenaline, serotonin, or 'thrills' in a modern society where we don't get chased by sabre tooth tigers or mammoths. Blowjobs, still a mystery...but I can't begrudge them that.
-
Spaz, nah, I'm not saying that... I do want fast cars, and blowjobs...but I don't want to suck a man's tits.

This topic is epic win.
