We'll presume you have a legal copy of VC. What are the differences between your new computer & the old one. If you haven't already, make sure your drivers are up to date on your computer. Also, make sure you have a recent version of DirectX. I recently had to do a wipe & reload on my box & forgot that one. Surprisingly, SA ran okay w/out it, finally realized what I missed when I tried to run SCARFACE & realized the error message meant the game was looking for DirectX. The only other thing I can think of is what OS are you running. For me VC has gotten along just fine w/ Windows 98 & XP.

Maybe it's just me, but a letter seems impersonal. This just sounds like the kind of thing you should do in person. If that's too uncomfortable, the time might not be right yet. Either way you go, good luck w/ it.

Some sort of conflict. Make suer your IDE has all the models placed in your IPL. At least it sounds like you backed up your original VC.DAT.

The 14-year-old wasn't the problem, it was his uptight white grandma who walked in while CJ was "having Coffee", probably w/ a white chick. Run w/ it! One of the best things about GTA & modding it it is that it encourages creativity. Regardless of what you used to create the image you posted, it looks fit to put into SA. Keep it up.

Yes, there is. A simple script edit will probably do it. Hell, just e-mail R* & suggest a package of VCS & LCS for PC, updating LCS to include swimming & other VCS features w/ VC PC graphics. That would be nice for Christmas at around $30 (US) for both.

I think the US models have a 2.5 liter inline 5 cylinder enging. Don't care for them or the H2 (Chevy Silverado chassis), they're just not the real thing, just reskinned civilian models. I'll stick to the H1 (preferably fitted w/ a 7.3 Powerstroke). Just looked up the Ford Territory, wish they sold 'em up here in the states.

Start here, it works about the same except any data edits would be in WEAPONS.DAT instead of HANDELING.CFG. You'll need to use the same tools & change the models in GTA3.IMG. http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3124 You should also have a README file w/ your mod. If not, look in other weapon mods. They should all work the same.
