I've dusted off my copy of GTA3 & started playing it w/ my kid. The ONE thing most likely to result in a busted controller &/or monitor is that he can't get out of a moving car. The car gets flipped & he can't get out because it's moving, even the slightest & BOOM! I've been killed more times than I can count because of that. Compared to the VC & up, the physics engine is junk. It's come a loooooong way. I think I can fix the gangs hating Claude w/ a simple DATA edit. might play around w/ it this afternoon.

Every time I saw that in VC, there was a problem w/ a car I installed, usually a glitch in the model. If the '71 Mustang you mentioned is the same one I used, it should be stable. In mine I replaced the Cheetah & had no problems, so look for an error in HANDLING.CFG or DEFAULT.DAT if you edited it. Also try downloading the car again from a different site in case the ZIP/RAR file was corrupted. Hold off on DATA edits until you know the model is stable. For the moment, stick w/ replacing the Stallion, it's a reasonable approximation for handling. NOTE -Cheetah & Vice Cheetah use the same HANDLING.CFG line, so I replaced the Vice Cheetah w/ the '73 Ford Falcon XB "Mad Max V8 interceptor"(That car rules!). The XB is similar in size, weight & handling to the '71-'73 mustang. Also remember the Haitian Voodoo has hydraulics, so if you replace it, you need a car made specifically for the Voodoo. Same applies to ambulance, fire truck, police vehicles & taxis. Good luck w/ it.

I'll have to dig around & see if the old Fort Baxter models are still in GTA3.IMG of VC. If not, does anyone have them?

You're 15, this should be the best time of your life. I was 23 & it was still more than I was ready for. On top of that, I'm raising a grandson, courtesy of a 17-year-old retatd that had to be "comforted" by my stepdaughter. Get out of bed & enjoy your life before you HAVE to become responsible. Get through school & at least get an idea of what you want to do in life, get some of that in place. If the feelings for her are real, they'll still be there. In the mean time there are still things you can do together. Also, don't bet your future on a thin piece of latex or a pill (trust me on the pill). Good luck.

I liked the "Good Citizen" bonus in VC, made a few $$ on that one. I like the idea of ped criminals. In my VC I hacked the GXT & now it says "BEAT THAT SUM'BITCH! Here's $50".

I presume the DFF has a part called "grip", "handle" or something like that. Try turning that part around in the model to see if it makes any difference.

When I was a younger man, I worked at a small town Co-op. We had an old guy running around who kept up w/ me just fine. He was 86 at the time.

There are similarities (especially to Vice City) but they are distinctly different. In GTA (except SA & VCS) you can't swim. Tony can swim but he can't jump so small barriers stop him. Scarface doesn't have a "Pay 'n' Spray", but you can pay off the cops & rival gangs & Scarface has "Henchman" characters you can play & a blind rage mode. If you're into GTA, you should like Scarface. From a quality standpoint, no one beats Rockstar.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you still can't figure that out then you shouldn't be modding.
