At least my Urbie can cook sushi. Looking forward to SR2. Also re-visiting Scarface (it's a LOOOOONG wait to GTA4).
-
That one kinda surprised me too. What "sucked" about it to you? Agreed w/ ArtSweet on the PS2 version's shortcomings but I thought it still measured up to GTA3/VC in design & gameplay. Would like to see a PC version w/ VC graphics (or better yet, SA).

FULL POINT! I can't think of anything to add to that statement, it's dead on.

As you come up to the ones that require a wheelie, pull back on the left stick & tap the "accelerate" button. It took a couple tries to figure that one out. Next time you fail that one, keep the bike & ride around a little to get the hang of it. Good luck.

Weird is that of all the games I get hooked by is one that turned up in a batch of games Mamma Kitty got cheap on e-bay. F***ing URBZ. If this shows up at your house, run, it's worse than crack. Anyone know the code to remove the blur when she's in the shower?
-
You also get random cars around the stadium. Another place to look is the parking lot by the airport. There's one in the alley by the pizza shop downtown, but it's an FBI Washington.
-
It's pretty bad when the guy behind the counter of the game shop tells you not to waste $5 on 187: Ride or Die. For whatever reason, I just couldn't get into the "top down" GTAs. Maybe it's just that my first GTA was GTA3 & VC. The ones I hate are the ones that don't work. Your machine meets the requirements & is in good working order, other games play fine but for some reason it just won't work. I have a love/hate thing w/ SCARFACE: The World is Yours, great concept & gameplay in theory but lousy coding. No points to Sierra/VU over their lousy support & I will never spend money on one of their titles again.

Pretty sure Bush's agenda had nothing about terrorists stealing planes & flying them into buildings full of people. As for his reaction, what would you have him do in a classroom full of young kids? His reaction was completely appropriate, he finished his visit to the classroom, & dealt w/ the problem. It's called composure. As for "links" to Bin Lauden, I think you're referring to a time when he (BL) was involved in Afghanistan's fight against Soviet occupation, long before he decided to to attack American civilians. Your comments are as ignorant as someone accusing The British Prime Minister of creating the IRA as a means to stay in power. As for "desperate for oil"... There is not a SINGLE chemical or fluid in the auto industry that can't be derived from our own agriculture. OPEC knows this & they also know their oil reserves will only last so long. Right now, oil is profitable. In the near future expect to see more clean energy sources, like soy diesel & ethanol (used by local state government & public transportation), improvements in hybrid cars. Grain oil can be processed into motor oil & grease. Antifreeze is already made from alcohol. What food can you make from petroleum? OPEC should be glad the US hasn't responded to their gouging w/ a policy of $1 a barrel = $1 a bushel (charging them the same price for grain they charge us for oil. Do you have a factual basis for your "opinion", or just like to bash Americans? Your science teacher might want to stick to doing his job (that would be teaching science, in case he forgot).

Red Devil - YOU SANCTIMONIOUS LITTLE PRICK!!! Your comments are the stupidest thing I have seen on this forum to date. Listening to this crap from American liberals is bad enough, but from some little git who"s total life experience is bouncing around the back of Mumsie's Skoda Roomage to go watch the big boys play footsies just pisses me off. You're no better than the human garbage from the West Bank who spent the day dancing around & singing because someone lashed out at the "evil Americans". SHUT THE HELL UP!!! I remember being woke up to a phone call from my ex telling me to turn on the news (work nights). Saw the first tower fall, saw the plane hit the second & it fell. Watched reports come in from the Pentagon. Listened to recorded cell phone calls from flight 92, the plane taken by terrorist & retaken by the passengers (those people were heroes, plain & simple). I also remember watching live news footage from the Middle East of people celebrating. Then I watched this country, my home, pull itself back together. George W. Bush was the right man in the right place at the right time. Period. I remember he took immediate & appropriate action. Full point to Sky - Clinton was worthless. After the first attack on the WTT in '92, he knew exactly who Bin Lauden was & took no action. As for Iraq, we got tired of them training terrorists & we did something about it. We didn't take him out in Desert Storm because we knew it would lead to the mess we have now. After 9/11 it got to the point it was time to do something. Afghanistan? That's where he ran to & they hid him. That's why we bitch-slapped the Taliban out of power. That's why we're stuck dealing w/ the mess in both those countries, why we stayed around to try to rebuild their infra- structure instead of just walking away & leaving them to their own devices. As for war for oil, well...YES!!! $3 a gallon is wrecking our economy, what makes you think $5 is a good idea? First fuel prices tripled then everything else goes up as well because the cost of transporting everything from raw materials to finished product just went up. To afford durable goods, wages have to go up as well in turn raising the price of the goods. Run that by your teacher, RD. Agreed, dwelling on 9/11 accomplishes nothing. But at the same time those who do not remember history are doomed to repeat it. Back in a couple days, I just need to get this one out of my system.

For a scratched disc, look for a device called "Disc Doctor" or similar. http://www.digitalinnovations.com/products.php?cat=1 This link goes to a different unit than the one I meant, but you get the idea.

I'd like to see a return of the "Mayhem" missions. Where is that big front end loader that was across the street from my 3rd st. loft?
-
Nope, 1 car at a time. 20 on each Island. When you complete them all you get a nice "present" at your savehouses. As I recall, you DON'T get fireproof, so be careful. You can use firefighter to find your rare cars like the Mr Whoopie or Stretch & the rewards are progressive, each mission worth more than the last (in a row). Do this for an hour & make insane cash.
-
Can you get a screenshot? Just a guess, but are the cars made for GTA3/Vice City? EDIT: Just thought of this - Double check that you got HANDLING.CFG edits right. I missed a bit in VC replacing the Patriot w/ a Humvee & got a similar effect.
-
I've fount the timer to be a little more reasonable on the "Dance" missions. I picked up Barbara & had enough time to take the Wayfarer into the middle of SF at a reasonable pace. Still say Gimp suit is quickest/easiest.
-
Both of these are from PC V1, I think they also work on PS2 (original release). Easy driving date w/ Denise. After you win the race "8-Track" (coliseum, near CJ's house in Ganton) you get a Monster Truck there. Take her down into flood control in it & do spin outs to quickly complete the date. This will work in about any rear-wheel drive car but the truck seems to be the fastest. Easy date w/ Millie. Show up in the "Gimp" suit. Skip directly to "coffee"

Has to do w/ actors & screenwriters unions. That & it's kinda fun to see who plays some of the minor parts or who did the voices in animated shows. Same w/ TV. So, whaddup!?

Have you installed any mods? Try un-installing. Have you saved after using cheats? Reload a save from before you saved the cheat.
-
Soundtrack by Belts & Hoses (a garage band). I'm just gonna let that one lay there & smell bad.
-
"Bad Patch"? They were fubar & pissed about it. Hitler said what the German people wanted to hear when they wanted to & the rest is history. He gave them someone to blame for their problems.
-
Mine has the date of manufacture on the bridge (on top, near the bolt).

i need to know how the modifacatins will get into the system
Urbanoutlaw replied to gtalover31's topic in GTASA Modding
Start here (Modding Tutorials) - http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5959 Remember step 1, BACK UP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT. If something goes wrong, that will save a LOT of headaches. Welcome & enjoy -
I presume you installed a mod right before this happened. What recent changes have you made to the game? What was the last thing you changed right before it quit working? I think Frontier is on the right track.

The toughest, strongest person I've ever known is sitting next to me playing around on my laptop. She's survived things no one should ever see. She fears nothing. Except her psycho ex. I never could understand how someone could treat the person they "love" that way, it's just alien to me. All you can do is be there for them until they're ready to change things for themselves.

BTW, which Enfield is that, a #1 or #3. Out of all mine, my personal favorite rifle is my pre- WW I #1 mkIII. Enfields just feel right.

My sanity has left me, I'm off to find it! Back in a few.
