Welcome & enjoy, take a minute & look at the rules & check out the layout of the site. As for your question, start w/ the tutorials at the top of each mod page, that should get you off on the right track. If you still have problems, post in the appropriate forum & briefly describe your problem. Include the game (GTA3, VC, etc), & version (if SA), what mod you're installing & the problem you are having (freeze, crash/kickout, etc). If you're new to GTA, remember saving after using a cheat will probably screw up your game. Backup every file you plan to edit before you start, so if a mod is bad you can fix w/out having to reinstall the game.

Are you using the keyboard or a controller? Either way, look for the other "Flying School" topics. Worst case, you should find what you need (or want) their.

I think the code for the magnet only works for that mission. If I think of it later, I'll open the main script & verify that. If you have PC V1, there are script mods to make it permanent. I'm planning on using it for my next version of "SA: Outlaw Spec".

People who join & post one redundant topic, usually wanting someone to pass their missions instead of making an honest effort. I really try to be tolerant of noobs, but com'on guys, at least give it an honest try!

Nothing personal, but it seems like I see one of these "Help me w/ Flying School/finish it for me topics once a week lately. Unless you glitched your game by saving w/ a cheat, you should be able to pass it no problem, just practice. I got all gold on PS2 & my hands are junk (carpel tunnel). When did it become too much of a challenge to play a video game? Look for the other topics on this & look for tips. Stick w/ it, you got this far. This is a dumb question, but you did remember to rename or remove the old one? If you're not sure how to edit the radio station, put your tracks (songs & adverts) into the user tracks folder (in MP3) & use the user track player as a new "K-jah".

Beside Sky's tip on R1, was any of this any help? Good luck on the next race.

GTA3, VC & SA (on PC) allow re-mapping your controller. I use the PS2 settings from VC as a general template for any game that allows it.

Just finished off the Rollers & Carnales this morning (VKs went down Friday). Forgot what a pain the last "trafficking" mission was, had take over all the Carnales hoods to get through it. Just a couple Saints missions left.

"Saint Mark's Bistro" is coming up for me, I'll try to get the XYZ co-ords (PC) & see if I can make an "ENEX" in one of the IPL files. Someone good w/ the .COL editor could make a new file for Liberty. Just thinking out loud.

Dusted off Scarface: the world is Yours. Buzzkill (on top of the rest w/ the game), lost my original save file from my last wipe & reload of my machine. the save and part of the game were on the boot drive so I ended up re-installing. Got my mansion back & fixed it up, just bought the limo & respect level 2 henchmen & cars.
