Something got corrupted, that's the only thing I can think of. Try un-installing the game (copy your saves from user files to a backup folder first), defrag the drive to get rid of any traces of the old install, then re-install SA & put your saves back. If you have an earlier save, try playing from there. Good luck, hope you get it sorted.

On the Blu-Ray - In light of R*'s deal w/ MS, I doubt GTA4 will be tailored to a proprietary Sony drive. Since the announcement of the delay, citing possible frame rate problems, I would guess the TXDs would be huge & require a lot more drive space. 12 gig sounds about right.

SPOILER ALERT (yeah, there a few who still haven't played GTA3) Loosing your weapons right before the last mission. Good thing I found all my hidden packages & did my side missions.

After you complete the Firefighter side work, get the flamethrower in Vice port. Fire makes them get out NOW, but doesn't destroy the tank (in small amounts).

Autocide, just not right in front of a cop. I cruise around the BMX park, see one & aim for the spot next to him. At the last second I swerve into him. When you hit him w/ the car, local gang members don't seem to notice for a few seconds.

Alternate strategy - Complete your TAXI side mission. It puts a "Borgnine" cab in Harwood, just south of Head Radio. It's the best balance of speed, handling & durability. My first choice for races. Take the Borgy on that mission, pick up Ray & head to the north side of the hospital, the tunnel at the NE corner. I usually have plenty of time to spare.

Is that a script mod? If so, then see if you can contact the person that made it. Are you running other mods w/ it? May be a conflict. Have you saved after using cheats? That will fubar your save files.

I like it, hope it becomes a regular feature in the franchise. The "Air Ambulance" gets really profitable. I like the paramedic missions. I can think of two tips to help you. Get good w/ the handbrake, it helps cornering w/out flipping the ambulance. The second is always presume the patient will run to you & get hit, so stop a little short.

SA on PSP... They'd have to really gut SA to fit on a PSP. PS2 (& X-box) is pretty much done, so those probably won't happen either. The next visit to San Andreas will be bigger than the original.

Tried the "Rhino trick" (PS2), noticed any destroyed car pushed or left in a garage disappears.

That's how I have mine set up, w/ games on my DATA drive (D). It SHOULD work on your boot drive ©, you may have technical issues.

If you haven't already, rightclick on the ROCKSTAR folder & un-check READ ONLY. I think it's okay to extract to desktop, but I'm not sure (It's been awhile since I did IMG editing). To backup the file, you make a new folder called BACKUP in the same folder as the one you want to edit, for example your GTA3.IMG. Copy the un-edited file into the BACKUP folder.

I have the PC & PS2 versions, they're identical as near as I can tell. Locations listed in the book are not 100% accurate.

Unless you just hate the Simpsons, go see it, it's good.
