  1. If you have a lot of downtime at work, get a portable DVD player (or use a laptop if you already have one) & catch up on movies. I've got a friend who is a dispatcher overnight for a trucking company & that's his solution.
  2. Topic already covered here - http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11770 Take a minute & look around, look at the rules (right above your log in name). Welcome to TGTAP & enjoy!
  3. ????? If I got this right, you use the right stick on the controller to change from hover to forward flight.
  4. I wouldn't say he sucks, he just gets pushed around a lot.
  5. Have had good results editing handling. I also have done a little SA script editing (SA version 1). If you're interested, post in my trading stalls topic & I'll see what I can do for you. http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11534
  6. Although R* could eventually offer LCS/VCS as a download (like 1,2 & GTA London). I'd like to see it. This is just speculation, but you never know.
  7. That darn Oskar (JK, he's okay). Took this one to Americruise a couple weeks back, it was for sale. Had a couple bites, but no one came up w/ cash. Then payday came, car no longer for sale (things change quickly when you have money in hand). I'm thinking along the lines of Mad Max V8 interceptor.
  8. You also need to complete the Syndicate mission "Yay-Ka-Boom-Boom" to open Wang autos. The thing w/ Transfenders is probably a glitch, sometimes I get that from my savehouse garages.
  9. Script editing should handle that, but there's literally over half a million lines of code to sort. Still getting that sorted, so I'm not much help. Yet.
  10. the bossman - thank you, just what I have to say.
  11. Take a minute & look here, PS2 & X-box already covered here. It's at the top of the Modding page. http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6666
  12. The "bike ban" thing was just made up by R* to explain why there were bikes in LCS, but not GTA3. Either R* just never considered them or hadn't worked out the physics & handling until VC. either way, the game wouldn't be right w/out them.
  13. Again, thanks for putting it all in one place.
  14. Guess that's another "Different worlds" things. In the US, if you don't have a license when you're 16, you take a ton of crap. My parents were paranoid so I barely had mine when I graduated from high school. That probably explains my unhealthy obsession w/ $50 cars.
  15. Thanks, Silberio. I took a few years to build up my personal collection. When the Gun control types start bitch'n we should only buy one gun a month, most of us gun nuts wish we could afford to buy one gun a month. Irony. Sorry I didn't get the Ruger pics yesterday, if I get time I'll get them later today.
  16. "Kinda" cool? More like defined it (in GTA)! BAD MONKEY!
  17. Don't forget the countdown 856 (counting the two that got skipped)
  18. Okay, so I'll stick around for a couple minutes.. Leave the AC, your defroster needs it. If you decide to sell it later, working R-12 AC makes it worth a lot more. For street use it's only about 100 pounds & that isn't that much. If you want to reduce engine drag, just remove the belt. Cut between the cat & the head pipe & rune tubing the next size bigger back to the muffler. Find a muffler for something w/ a 2.5 to 3.5 V6 (single exhaust system) & run your tailpipe. I'm thinking parts for a V6 Camry will do it for you. As long as you use brackets in the right place, you shouldn't have rattling. Grandma would be pleased that the car is still quiet & cool. (Trust me on that one.) Later on, get a couple pics under the hood.
  19. '90 means you can ditch the catalytic converter, sure you don't want to commit a little surgery on the exhaust? A cold air Kit should be easy to find for it, probably cheap. Both will give a little more power & help MPG. Gotta go, later. Gotta go to work, work all night, work all night finding underwear! Gotta go to work, work all night, work all night finding underwear! Gotta go to work, work all night, work all night finding underwear! Gotta go to work, work all night, work all night finding underwear! Gotta go to work, work all night, work all night finding underwear! Gotta go to work, work all night..........
  20. Yeah, most of it is. The fender & valance are just bolt-ons, if you try Bondo & don't like the results. What year did you say it was again?
  21. 872 About to shut down for the night, later.
