Are the new bikes just in L&D or will they show up when you play the regular game as Niko?
-
You need to take care of that before you ride in my 'Stang.

Where does Kate even work?

It's some kind of community center, but you never get any details. Nice, I'll let you find out which members of staff you just offended. -
The big thing that people in Europe forget is that until a couple years ago gas was about $1 a gallon, since the late '70s. A sudden 400% spike is the problem & it's not because any change in supply, just pure greed. Large scale agriculture uses a lot of petroleum based fuels at every step & the US exports to almost every corner of the world. Consider how much fuel prices have driven up the price of grain & produce exported to Europe. WE ARE ALL GETTING SCREWED!!!

The handbrake is your friend.

Considering the treatment Liberty City got, I'd love a rehash of Vice City & San Andreas. Another rehash I'd like is 3D versions of the original top down GTAs, tailored to the SA game engine.

FDR was the second Roosevelt, US President through most of WWII. More here - http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/presidents...klindroosevelt/ For more on Teddy Roosevelt - http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/presidents...odoreroosevelt/

Doom on the old Sega CD (there's your old school games) started to screw w/ my head a little, especially when you step through the porthole to their Hell universe. Even got a little nauseous, which doesn't happen to me. Just got Bioshock for valentine's day (the kind of gift that says how much she cares), that one can get the pulse up.

What lie? If you're talking about the weapons of mass destruction, we are talking about someone who deployed nerve gas on his own people, in itself a WMD. Between this & links to the 9/11 attacks (provided aid to Bin Laden & allowed him to train terrorists in Iraq) Bush acted in the best interest of the US based on the best intel we had at the time. Congrats to Saddam Hussein for hiding them & they may never be found. You probably also expected me to defend Bush on this one. Did you expect this from Obama, considering part of his campaign was getting our military out of foreign countries? (note this one is from CNN, the guys who loved to hate bush) http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/17/oba...oops/index.html

NEVER EVER NEVER SHAKE A PC!! Report PC abuse immediately, you CAN make a difference! (I know that doesn't help, but thought you could use a laugh out of all this.)

The theory was sound enough, perform or you don't get paid. My experience w/ the public schools & especially the special education programs leaves me a little unsympathetic. In the '80s there was a minor epidemic of big city kids graduating from high school unable to read enough to fill out a simple job application & almost no math skill. Not saying it's right, just why. In actual practice a lot of teachers just don't care about their students. For whatever reason their attitude is burned out from being little more that free babysitters stuck w/ a bunch of someone else's screw-up kids so they just show up, punch a clock & sluff through the day. When the kids fail, the local school board & teacher's unions say it's government's fault for not throwing enough money at it. I'll give you that one, all they wound up doing was take resources from the few teachers in the problem schools & gave an excuse to the bloated sacks running the schools.
-
You're the last person I'd expect that from. Finally had a steady girlfriend just on time to graduate from high school, then she went rabid & turned into a slut monster. I got used to the fact a long time ago that women usually had ulterior motives when they showed interest in me. Their car constantly needed repair, they wanted to make someone jelous & even my alleged wife of 12 years only showed interest in me just when she wanted to piss of her mother. Then one day I end up talking to someone who wanted be be w/ me for...me?! That was 11 years ago & she still wants to be w/ me. The others? They just don't matter, when it's right it just happens.

feel free to slug it out here (Presidential failures). L-RiC's on, this should get good. http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.ph...c=22056&hl=

Raybob's Best President topic is starting to look like bit of a slugfest, so here's a place where you discuss what you think they got wrong. If you post here, put a little thought into it & be ready to back it up. Things like "BUSH SUCKS OBAMA FTW LOLOL" will be considered SPAM & treated as such. Nothing personnel at the younger members from outside the US, but arguments like "my chemistry teacher said" & "blah blah blah Americans" will be summarily dismissed. SEE ABOVE LINE. I'll even through out the first one. Bush (Jr) - Those of you who've been around enough to know me a little are probably surprised at that one, I'll explain. I still firmly believe he was the right man in the right place at the right time 9/12/01 & did the right thing going into Afghanistan & Iraq. But one thing just digs at me. Gas prices, he said... NOTHING! Dude, WTF?!?! Why didn't he get serious about our own domestic rescorces? I firmly believe the price of gas a direct contributor to our current economic problems. People would have a little more than to spend on things like pizza & going out, giving others jobs who in turn will spend a little more.... See the pattern? That's how it worked in the '80s. Alaska - Oil reserve comparable to all of OPEC, off limits due to federal regulation (non introduced by Alaskans). Off shore drilling - Estimated to be as much as in Alaska. Many drilling platforms sitting idle needing repair/refit. The permits alone to do this cost more than building a new platform. How is that environmentally friendly? Eastern US coal reserves - Yet another huge reserve. US Air Force has been looking seriously looking at coal based jet fuel. Finally, at about $4 a gallon we started to consider these rescorces. We should have been looking at this by $2 & by$3 there should have been executive orders to tap these rescorces. I'll save ethanol, bio diesel, solar & wind for another time. Don't worry, I've got plenty on Obama & Clinton. Let the games begin!

Nothing like doing business w/ honorable people, huh? Okay, the case looks bad, does it at least work? If get stuck w/ it & want to repair, I think the plastic is the same as model cars. Testors model cement will probably take care of the cracks. After that sand w/ 220 grit & you'd be surprised at the results you would get from a can or Rustoleum. Check your local auto parts store for "touch up" paint in custom colors. Good luck, although I expect you'll find a creative way to salvage this headache.

No one can deny he at least is an awesome man. How about that Eisenhower guy, everybody liked Ike.

(Scratches Husky behind ears, tells him "good boy".) Nice detail on Johnny's bike, the front suspension works. I DL'd LAD this morning, probably dig into it this weekend.

Yet. But I think when it does happen (when, not if) it'll be one of the people he surrounded himself w/. CLUE: PRESIDENTIAL EDITION - I'll guess Bill Ayers in the library, w/ a bomb. Realistically it should take an A-10 or A1 Abrams to take this thing out. Irregardless of political differences, he is the President & needs the best in security. One thing they can do is talk to the guy who put a diesel in a Mustang & claims 800 HP + 35 MPG. http://www.dieselpowermag.com/features/for...amax/index.html Now that moves w/ authority!

In our defense (myself & Rappo) we are debating the merits of presidents pertaining to who was the best. Nonetheless, thanks for the indulgence. That part sounded kind of back-handed, thanks for taking a moment to explain. (seriously, thanks, a lot of people wouldn't bother.) I also think we're on the same page on Iran. By itself, their own telecommunications satellite should be a great accomplishment that will benefit them. Same for a clean dependable power source. It's what happens when they put the two together that scares the hell outta people. Tying this back to topic: Carter wasn't so good as a president, the late'70s were one giant fail, but he did turn out to be a good statesman & even rescued Clinton on some of his foreign policy headaches. The smart thing for Obama to do is to sit down w/ Carter & get some insight on dealing w/ Iran. FDR gets points for leading us through most of WWII. Truman should get credit for making the hardest decision of Any US president, whether or not to use an atomic weapon to end WWII. JFK was a war hero & this would be a completely different country if he hadn't been assassinated. I'm also a big fan of John Adams & John Quincy Adams, but they were family (literally).

You apparently missed that line when you fired back. I really would like someone from Europe to weigh in on that. Yes, I read your post. The way you worded it implied you still thought they weren't right. "Lincoln and FDR probably had the best reasons to go to war, but most were fairly unreasonable in that respect." So you think the terrorists were justified & we should just let that go. Sorry our bad, it's okay. (yes, that was sarcasm.) What about Iran? The recently launched a telecommunications satellite into orbit & have been working on nuclear power. Maybe if we're nice enough to them they won't put the two together. George W. Bush: Will you be as critical of Obama when he makes unpopular decisions? Porkulus (the stimulus bill) is estimated to have a final cost of $1.3 TRILLION but we're supposed to just leave Iraq to their own devices because it cost a few billion. Yes, we took out their government, they were providing aid to terrorist organizations. We were defending ourselves as we have the right to. That also gives us the obligation to help the Iraqi people rebuild their country as a nation that can take care of themselves. Bush recognized that but somehow he's a bad guy. As for "giving up on Bin Laden", have you seen his day planner lately? MONDAY: Hide in hole. TUESDAY: Hide in hole. WEDNESDAY: Hide in hole, look at picture of daylight. THURSDAY: Hide in hole, hope to Allah today isn't day person providing hole decides I'm worth $10 million reward. See the pattern here? Bush gets points for that, Clinton knew who Bin Laden was after the first attack on the World Trade Center & did nothing about him. Epic fail for Clinton, I remember the news reports about Bin Laden & Al Quida (could not care less about exact spelling) being responsible after they tried to get the deposit back on the truck used in the bombing. Another Clinton fail was Somalia. That was one where we walked out & now it's an outlaw state & prate nest. George H. W. Bush (the first bush) never got credit for the aid he tried to give Somalia, the international poster child for world hunger. We sent food & medical supplies that were intercepted by by petty warlords. It finally got to the point that we had to send in the military just to get food to starving people. Still think US involvement is a bad thing? ON TOPIC RECAP: George H. W. Bush - +1 George W. Bush - +1 Bill Clinton - -2 If you really want to argue about whether the US has the right to defend ourselves, start your own topic on it.

UT: Game of the Year totally rules. Still installed on my PC for the really crappy days when I just need mindless violence. J(A)T & cranky grannies from NJ need not apply.

You mean the "don't screw w/ us or we destroy you" part of the culture? Kind of obvious when you live in a world where there are some people bent on hating others. For example, the "so-called terrorists" (ref Helen Thomas, White House press core) taking "so called" box knives, hijacking "so called" airplanes full of "so called" people & flying them into the "so called" World Trade Center & Pentagon. Lincoln - American Civil War, started over the succession of southern states due to slavery being banned. Slavery = BAD. FDR - WWII. When Hitler was done w/ Europe, he had his sights on the US. Meanwhile the Japanese started taking Islands throughout the Pacific, again headed towards the US. Both were totally unprovoked & in the case of Japan, some of their warlords stated they attacked Pearl Harbor because they thought the US was weak & wouldn't fight. They cited Depression Era training films of US soldiers doing bayonet training w/ brooms & thought we couldn't defend ourselves. SURPRISE!!! We jab back & forth across the Atlantic, but do you really think Europeans wanted to have the Nazis running things? Wait a minute & let someone from the other side of the pond answer as to whether or not we should have gotten involved in WWII.

Okay, you figured me out. I'm a male lesbian, deal w/ it. My 14-year-old daughter can tear up San Andreas pretty well, although she tends to think it's Grand SHOPPING Auto. Really bad about Saint's Row Mall Extreme, but is a total beast in Bully (AKA GTA Jr.).
