  1. Nice. The .38 looks huge from this angle.
  2. Husky has a sister, my condolences. Be glad there aren't 2 of them. Husky - 1) Don't fuck up in school. 2) Don't fuck up at home. In the case of the bleach/carpet, let your mom get it out of her system, then talk to her (calmly) when she calms down. Be glad she's not an oldschool psycho. 3) When you do fuck up, find a better way to resolve this w/ your mom. Blatant disrespect to your mom is just bad form & will only piss her off. Eventually if you piss her off enough she'll start thinking of making you the state's problem. 4) As a parent, if any of my kids flipped me off & said "Fuck you" to me, forget the PS3. They'll be lucky to wake up on time for the PS6. Husky's mom - Call the hospital where he was born, I think you have a refund coming. Husky's dad - What the hell is wrong w/ you that you let your kids disrespect their mom like that? Silberio - Whaddup!? Burn anything good lately?
  3. There was the 8-year-old who led cops on a 20 (or so) mile chase, claiming he learned to drive from GTA. Still would like to what car that was.
  4. The PS2 release was just $20 US, never an expensive game. Agreed on the crappy graphics, R* could have at least used the original PS2 VC graphics, the game looked terrible. It did make up for it in gameplay, storyline & characters. Rene was epic funny, reminded me of one of my old neighbors (nice guy, just a little "different"). The PS2 version also had a little more sidework & what I call the "Super Mario" glitch, a spot by the airport where you could jump on an exposed sewer pipe & get warped to the golf course, past the barriers. For those curious, it (& LCS) should be dirt cheap, making it a good excuse to dust off the PS2. If you're hardcore into GTA it's a "must have". hugh750 - Take a minute & look around the site, read the rules. Welcome & enjoy. L-RiC - Quit hatin'!
  5. You chase 'em out, I'll be in front w/ the septic truck.
  6. That was the main reason I lost interest in playing Saint's Row (1) multi-player, too much friendly fire. It seemed like as soon as my team was winning one of my team mates went rabid on us. As bad as GTA Race campers in GTA4, the HALO twits more interested in racking up kills than racing. Bad enough it's almost always supercars in Star Junction, but half the time you could barely finish the race, usually on a Scooty Puff Jr. It's killed a lot of interest there, too. If you want to play HALO, go play HALO you butt puppets!
  7. 'Til they hung out his ass & looked natural.
  8. FULL POINT!!! I probably won't even bother w/ the PC versions of GTA4 or Saint's Row 2 because of the Money I would have to spend upgrading my PC (works great for GTASA) just to play them. Would also point out that animations will only mimic ragdoll physics. For true ragdoll physics you need a game engine made for it. Does a USB mouse work on an X360?
  9. Try going to the DOWNLOADS section & download a couple GTASA conversions. Open them up w/ a script editor & look at them. Also use IMG tool, TXD editor & GXT editor (models, textures & in game text). If you don't know what I'm talking about get more experience modding before you attempt, it will only end in total frustration. If you're not sure where to start, try a few simple DATA edits (HANDLING.CFG, CARGRP.DAT, etc) . Remember step 1: ALWAYS BACK UP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!! Good luck.
  10. Not sure when that changed, I remember awhile back (I think in '07) it was determined that original files were okay to share AS LONG AS THEY COULDN'T BE USED TO CRACK THE GAME. I think that was also before V3 became available for download from steam, giving access to a version that was never dependent on a play disc. I seem to remember Gerard stating that in one of the (very) many similar topics. I can see that alone as the reason for a change in the rules. When you reinstall, back up the DATA & MODELS folders outside of the GTASA directory. Test your mods one at a time. Might sound dumb but if a mod goes wrong it saves a lot of headaches.
  11. The problem you'll run into is finding all the sound files from CJ talking, or your new attractive female player will sound like a ...playa'. I know it can be done but it'll be a bit of a chore.
  12. For those of you who want more, I think that's from the Keifer Sutherland movie "Mirrors". For those who don't know, consider that as a headsup on something that will just freak you out.
  13. ^^^ Fine lad, saves an old man work so I can concentrate on important things, like Xbox. Does this place a working garage or just an empty building? If it's a working garage, where do you set how many cars it will hold?

    Saints Row 2

Too bad, the co-op is great w/ a good partner (X360). No one's had anything good to say about the PC version, chris82 said you need a "computer built by God" to run it.
  15. This is far from pointless & thanks for the headsup, I'll stick w/ my X360 version. It's disappointing that the PC version has so many tech problems because I was really looking forward to modding the revamped Liberty. Again, thanks for the heads up. I know it doesn't help you but it saved me a chunk of cash.
  16. Consider the following as spoilers if you haven't played GTASA before. After you return to Los Santos you have a mission where you & Maddog chase OG Loc. In that mission you use both the Vortex hovercraft & the go-cart. After that the go-cart shows up by the back door of Maddog's mansion & Zero's store. The Vortex shows up on the beach just north of the boat school. The go-cart is also used in one of the San Fierro street races. The Vortex can be bought from the export/import dock in SF.
  17. Close, I dug into that awhile back & found those values set what wheels you can pick from. The type of car is set in HANDLING.CFG hex flags. The seventh digit (from right) in flag "AG" should read "2" for lowriders & "4" for street racers. Everything else defaults to Transfender. Using the bit in VEHICLES.IDE I added custom wheels to most of the cars in SA. Bikes work to a point but have a weird visual glitch. Dumpers, police cars, etc are non-civilian (or similar) vehicles & excluded from modding in MAIN.SCR. In my next version of Outlaw Spec I will probably remove that so you can mod more vehicles. Ideally there will be a new shop for emergency vehicles & one for bikes, although I'm not sure how to get the wheels to work.
  18. Makes a lot of sense. Didn't know if it was just my computer or a glitch on TGTAP. Not a big deal either way but if it's something w/ the forum I thought you'd want to know.
  19. Thanks for the nod, just thought I'd give a little insight for those still thinking about buying either game. It's not such a big deal when they hit $20, but at $50-60... Anyway, play on.
  20. Nissan_Skyline_GTR_R34 - OOPS! L-RiC's had a shot of my style on SR2. When I'm not dressed like a giant hotdog beating people, my main character looks a lot like me (no, not the chick!). Long hair, backwards leather driving cap & Hawaiian shirts. Anyone who does co-op w/ me in Saint's Row 2 will see it. Musically my tastes vary w/ my mood although I'm just not into rap or country. Ironic for a redneck in the hood. I used to skate back in the '70s, realized I was too big & quit while I still had knees. Graduated to big blocks & fast Kawasakis ('75 H1 triple, '75 Z1. Both insanely fast). My female character in SR2 is a metalhead stripper who likes kittens & long walks. No, you can't date her.
  21. Clarification: Not my own posts, the ones listed when you click on "View New Posts" at the top of the page. The things posted since the last time I was on the forum. I'll come on to the forum & see several pages of new posts, then when I am posting & take more than a couple minutes (usually called away from the computer) the list is cleared for all but the last few minutes.
