and once you start the robbery, don't let off the target button until puts all the money on the counter, he just ducks behind the counter & stays there. As for controls, the only time I really use "Keyboard & Mouse" option is for first person shooting. For the rest, I use a PS2 style controller set up like PS2 game. It's my standard setup for all my games.

I haven't seen a thread on this so I thought I start one. The only reason I even got the 360 is for Saint's Row, a 360 exclusive. then found out about them not able to play older X-box games. I should have expected that from the makers of the single most devastating computer virus ever inflicted on the world as a whole, the Windows Operating System. Have come across patches to play older games, but a direct internet connection just isn't practicle. Now I'm hearing about similar issues w/ the PS/3 & want to find out more before I spend $$$ for one.

I've got the 360 & a PS2 (almost Identical to PS3 controller), & the PS controller just works better. I even have the PS style controller for my computer. Love the NYCO Airflow, they have a fan built into them, but I run 'em hard & the fans die.

San Andreas. And anything mentioned is on PC unless noted otherwise. I've hit 100% (First time w/ no mods or .DAT edits, but it took forever!)several times so I've started playing around w/ script mods & doing my own beta testing, so far so good. Also finishing up VCS (PS2), Have one missing bit to find for 100%. Vice City is still installed & gets played (I Robo-hacked VC!) & I even dust off GTA 3 form time to time. When I get done tweaking SA (for now, you never get completely done) I looking forward to playing Godfather. I had to take a break from Scarface (80%), it's a total buzzkill with all the bugs in it. I know GTA set a high standard, but did the guys at VU even try!? Still debating if I'm even gonna finish it.

I'm in the middle of the US, so we get the Big 3 (Chrysler, Ford & GM) + a wide range of imports. Have owned most & I'm a Ford guy, Have a yard full of 'em. (I know, you hate me...). '00 Mustang is daily driver. The most unusual one is a '77 Pinto Cruiser Wagon (They fixed the gas tank problem in '76, this one's safe). it's a Sedan Delivery w/ bubble windows like the ones you'd see on older custom vans w/ a factory V6 (yeah, some Pintos had 'em) Hybrids? In 20 years they will probably be the standard platform. For now they're still figuring them out. For what it's worth, Railraod Diesels (at least in the US)are actually huge Hybrid platforms so the idea is proven.

I think "Penises of the Carabian" is playing on stage at Pirates in Men's Pants in Los Venturas. Sunday night on Fox you can watch "King of the Penis, American Penis & Family Penis" Spike TV is alwas running "CSP" (Crime Scene Penis). Adult runs "Pee Wee's Penis" from time to time. On Sci-Fi, "The Penis-Files" where Scrotom & Boner chase Unidentified Flying Dildos. And there's always the classic "A Boy & His Penis", I think it was Dong Jonson's first film. Of course there's also the Star Penis movies & TV shows, especialy "Star Penis: The next Genitalia". Siskel & Ebert gave them mixed reviews, but I usually give the finger. Enjoy the Show!! GeForce 5500 w/ 256 RAM. Runs good, Looks good for all my GTAs, SA flies. Not the biggest or fastest, but a lot easier on your wallet.

Let me tell you why you hate me... '72 Ford LTD (2-door). I just loved these things when they were new. '72 Ford Galaxie (2-door). See above. '89 Ford Bronco (Full Size). -Civic Smivic, puts any Honda in town (local pop about 300K) DEEP in the rear view Mirror. '89 Ford E-150 conversion Van. my people hauler. '92 Ford F-150 Truck. Will go anywhere. '96 GEO Tracker (4-door). Will go anywhere F-150 can, ran ALOT of Pizza w/ this car '00 Ford Mustang. It's all about the Mustang. Note the lack of mini-vans. You want to hate a car..... I live in the Midwestern US & see about every kind of weather here, so there are times I just need the 4X4 of My Bronco, Truck & Tracker. Emissions, Greenhouse Gasses? Burn Ethanol blend fuel. Bug your elected officials to push for Propane, CNG & other clean fuels. Eggs? C'mon, play nice so Grampa doesn't need to use his outdoor voice.

I know I'm just a new guy but I think Dar-el is right about deleting. If they're gone for good then the space being used could be cleared up. Not to be cold but it's not like they need it anymore. If archiving them is important, what about putting them into a .zip or .rar file?

A couple things that might help: I think the file gta_sa.set saves you controller settings. There is an option in AUDIO to insert commercials into the user tracks. You can put shortcuts (1 for each song)to your MP3s in the USER TRACKS folder instead of the actual MP3s, saves a ton of space. There's also SCAN USER TRACKS, don't forget to do this so the game knows you have MP3s to play. If it's still not working, make sure you have the right CODEC for your MP3 player, in my case that's Windows Media Player 10 Awile back I found a tool, I think called GTASA PLAYLISTER, that claimed to edit playlists so your tracks would be on the radio stations instead of the user track player. I never messed w/ myself but maybe it's what your looking for. This should put you on the right track.

Have read somewhere X-box Live is supposed to have one that can be downloaded, I'll get mine hooked up to the net & find out in the near future.

I think I'm starting to get the money system here, even made some quick $ on a quiz. Now for my candidate for "All Time Dumbest Question". Where do I use the stuff I buy? I'm geussing it's for online multi-player, but where & how do I get In? I've also come across references to Pawning. One tutorial that covers these subjects would be very helpful to us new guys. If it already exists, please point me in the right direction & thanks for your time.

This might be a dumb question but are your subtitles on or off? I've noticed when subtitles are on, I lose engine sounds from vehichles & parts of conversation skipped. This last time, I left the subtitles off & so far all sounds are working (last mission finished "Grey Imports" & 100% gang territories taken).

More out of curiousity, Is there a conversion tool for the replay files? I had good luck w/ the VC Replay handler I pulled off one of the Download sites (can't remember which one). Maybe you could look at that.

GTA IV on PS2? The demands would be to much for the old consoles. PS3 is build around the N-vidia 7200 video card & the Blue-Ray disc, like trying to run any thing from GTA3 up on a PS1. SA flies on my PC but when IV comes out for PC I'll probably upgrade (for the love of Phil Cassidy PLEASE make it XP compatible!!). Best bet would be watch E-bay for an X-box 360, they're starting to come down (a little, + X360 is supposed to have extra missions or content to download).

Greetings from the US Midwest - I am the Urban outlaw. Short & Simple, a few years back I got a PS2 because someone owed about $20. Shortly after GTA3 landed in ou house & I became ADDICTED!!! Then I upgraded my PC & got Vice City & discovered the joy of editing .DAT files. All I wanted was a black Stinger..... I ended up spending a month swaping out almost every vehichle in the game & editing the data files. Every mission works as they did w/ the original models & files. If I can get permission from the people who made the models & texrures I may even post as the Outlaw Spec '80s mod. I actually got into a small argument w/ a manager at Best Buy for pushing back the release of GTA SA (I pre-purchased). With SA Im starting to play around w/ script mods & some texture editing, so an early version of SA Outlaw Spec should be ready soon featuring One Stop Shopping (LSPD/Dilimore HQ stocked) & Pull up your D@#^#$%# PANTS!! (Fix CJ's pants). I've played GTA3(PS2 & PC), Vice City(PS2 & PC), SA(PS2 & PC), & LCS (PS2) to 100% VCS (PS2) has an elusive .8% I'm still looking for. Also into Mafia (Liked), Unreal Tournement, (LET'S ROCK!!!), GUN, Scarface (BUZZKILL!) & am looking forward to The Godfather. Spent most of the last 20 years running pizza. Have mowed my yard & Found automobiles. Daily driver is 2000 Mustang. Am HUGE gun nut (Own a lot of the weaponf from GTA). Did I mention the Grandson I'm raising? Best advice to younger players is don't grow up completely, that's when you get old. BTW, like the site.

GTA 3 Stinger VC Stinger (call it a Stinger Daytona) Variations of the cars that have been in various GTAs , like an'80s Infernus (VC), '90s (SA) & '00s (GTA3). Sanchez & Super Sanchez (LCS). Related to this, I would like to see modshops that actually affect speed & handling, not to the extent of Gran Turismo, more like Driver Parallel Lines.

Kill Phill part 2 (PS2) wasn't so bad after I noticed the Bicycle. Light my Pyre was a pain for me. I grabbed the Freeway on the corner a block from Lance's house & caught up quickly enough, but then retard Lance had to stay between me & the badguys. (insert LOTS of cussing here). Escorting Gonzales to the Airport was the worst for me. Every time I had a bead on the sharks, my pilot went Crazy Ivan. Took all night, but I finally beat it.

:bashhead: Trashed several PCJs & Sanchezs, of all things I made the jump w/ a Black freeway (on first try!). On the roof there is a line where several textures meet, passing that line is the landing area.
