  1. I like the direction your thinking, run with it! By replicate weapons, I mean make the damage & range close to the real thing. In VCS (PS2), the stubby shotgun beats the Spas, even at distance. The M-4 & the AK use the same ammo but in real life, one is a 5.56 & the other is a7.62x39. Not bragging, but I own a lot of the weapons you see in GTA so these things stick out. Things like that. Also, I know I mentioned the backpack in other threads but I still think it'd be nice to keep & stockpile all the weapons you collect. Maybe someone at R* will see this & use the ideas, so like I said, run with it.
  2. I'm guessing Skyline's is what they called the Bronco II in the US. A little smaller & easier on gas than my 4500 lb (about 2200 Kilo) hellbeast. The Bronco IIs here had either a 2.3 OHC I-four or a 2.8 V6, The big ones a 300 I-6 (4.9 L) or a V-8 from 302 (5.0) to a 460 (7.6). First generation ('67 - '77) ranged between a 200 (3.3) I-6 to a 351 (5.8) V-8. Trade for an X-5? How good's the stereo?
  3. I thought the Skyline had 4WS on some models. In all fairness we hear about them all the time (in the US)but only see most in magazines & Video games. As for "kit" I picked that up somewhere, Use it short for "came equipped with", "related parts" & such. An actual Kit to install 4WS an a car would be a liability nightmare over here. If I'm off on the 4WS, thanks for the heads-up. You might be interested, the Skyline GTR is supposed to be coming to the US, in '08, here's somehing about it. http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews/coupe...nissan_skyline/ Saleen & Shelby Mustangs, Dodge is bringing back the Challenger (5.7 HEMI?) & Chevy is resurrecting the Camaro (Vette motor?) Now the GTR. This should get GOOD.
  4. GASP!!! 13(age) will get you 20(years in prison)!! REPENT!! Oh, wait, you guys are (way) younger than me, never mind.
  5. Yeah, I remember reading about those. The production models weren't quite right & they quit building them (at least for a while). Had a big recall where they disabled the rear steering.GM played w/ it too. I think it was the Nissan Skyline (You've heard of those, right?) that finally had a reliable kit. Off Topic - BTW, did you put much thought to your thread for a SA Story idea?
  6. Right now Peace & Quiet, a rare commodity in my house. Will probably be listening to Paradise City shortly, it's one of my user tracks in SA.
  7. Toss up, I forgot how much I loved the Patriot you get from Ray & his missions are funny. Overall, though, I think Phil Cassidy is my favorite. In all fairness a lot of that comes from his appearances in GTAVC & VCS.
  8. I know this is a really dumb question (I hope it doesn't get me nominated for the Junior Skoda Racing Team), what is a meme? Did I mention the Dumb question part?
  9. Used to, especially Girl/Girl stuff. Alot of it just gets repetitive I guess I've outgrown it, but I'm in a great relationship. For what It's worth I think Larry Flint is a Patriot, he took on the Moral Majority back in the '80s & won. "If the first Amendment can help me, imagine what it can do for all you nice people!" Jerry Falwell sued him for Libel (LOST in US supreme court) & Flint counter sued for copyright infringement (WON, same court) Short version in "People VS Larry Flint." I also bounced in a Gentleman's club a while back & met some people in the industry, basically decent people trying to earn an honest living. I'd love to hang out w/ Ron Jeremy, a local radio station interviewed him a while back & I bet he'd be a blast. As long as it's not kiddy porn or snuff flicks, I got no problem w/ consenting adults on film (tape or whatever). PS Shake - thanks for sticking up for us old guys.
  10. Let's just say I remember most of the '60 and leave it there.
  11. Ray Liota was dead on for Tommy's voice. The shirt (Hawaiian) rules! He didn't just let life happen, he made it happen.
  12. If you record that, I'll put it in my user tracks folder.
  13. Checkout the old ('72?) Charles Bronson movie Mr. Majestic, almost a 90 minute commercial for Ford Trucks & about half of that was classic '70 carchase. For you Chevy guys, Ryan O'Neil was "The Driver" (late '70s), he used a Chevy Shortbox. Mopars, Too many to list.
  14. Yeah, I don't know why. And yes I LOL'ed, a lot.
  15. A we wonder why Psychiatrists are in the top 5 professions most likely to end in suicide. At least you just got the paw print, I got the whole dog. :'(
  16. This Ass Clown thompson (lowercase t intentional) would hate me. When my 12-year-old (girl) comes over on weekends, we usually load up SA. I steer her away from Killing & "Hot coffee", but she's pretty good at alot of the side games. At flight school she got a 95% on her first skydive & passed bikeschool on her first try. The guy reminds me of the Senate Hearings on Pornography in Rock, where algore (like Igor, but dumber) called John Denver into a full Senate hearing & demanded to know what drug gave you a "Rocky Mountain High". I don't remember Denver's exact words, but it was something like go look at the Rocky Mountains you retard!! If that election commissioner in Florida did rig the 2000 elections, I owe her dinner & a movie! Every few years, a new jackass pops up to carry the torch & it looks like this time it's thompson. Can we make him change his name? It's an embarrassment to the firearms company.
  17. Full point to Huckleberry Pie, terrorists make the conscious decision to kill people to achieve their goals. We are only playing a video game & as long as we can keep in that context, it's cool. Personal responsibility is the issue. Besides, it also makes a great release so we don't do these things in the real world.
  18. If the wheel trick works, no bill.

If not, I stole my identity from myself!

    HA HA!.

  19. Dr Evil, you can replace a car you don't like w/ your BMW & use a little trick I stumbled across. This is mostly theory so I can't make a guarantee of your results. Step 1 BACKUP ANY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!! (sorry for the caps, but people tend to miss that part.) Start the game & save the car you want to replace in a garage. Save & quit. Open the GTA3.IMG & install your new car, for example TAHOMA Open the file VEHICLES.IDE in the DATA folder & Find the car you replaced (TAHOMA, Car # 566) & got to the end of the line for that car. The last 3 bits of info are your wheel size & a bit I don't have sorted (.70, .70, 0) I think the other 2 are wheel size, front & back. Change them (.70) to 1.0, leave the last bit (0) alone. Save & close. Start the game & check your results. Note - Some cars like the Glendale & Saddler share HANDLING.CFG (Glenshit & Saddlshit). And I don't know what effect adding hydraulics would have. There is also a Sand King parked under the Big Ear in bone county, You could experiment w/ that one. Good luck & tell us how it works.
  20. This also has the co-ordinates mod, the most used tool I have. Haven't played much w/ window fearure but the readme if fairly straight forward.
  21. A memory stick would be quick & easy. has anyone had any luck w/ that?
  22. I'm saying the people running the company aren't always the same as the ones making the product, and do a lot of weird things most of us don't understand (These would be the people signing the paychecks).
  23. My fords don't leave me walking & don't even start me on VW. Sucks about the wreck, but if the car left the ground then rest is kinda expected. A few years back, some jackass tried to sue (spelling?) Ford for the Crown Vic being unsafe. It seems a parked police CV was parked when a drunk rear-ended it at 90 MPH (about 150 KPH) & ruptured the fuel tank & burned a cop to death. Look away for a second, Kids. NO SHIT BUCKWEAT!!! I don't know of any production car that can take that. All the makes have had these kind of headaches & when you get down to it, a car is potentially dangerous. GM had the side saddle fuel tanks in their '73-'87(I think) trucks, Chrysler had latch problems in their minivans. And to be brutally honest, most people don't really know how to drive. Instead of crankin' the flamethrowers, let's just accept that different people prefer different cars & leave it at that.
  24. You just opened a HUGE can of worms. Time - Currant. Here & now w/ all the music & ongoing usage of established GTA history. Weapons - Wide range, try to replicate real weapons, including exotic stuff. Cars - All cars & vehichles from previous GTAs, a few non production prototypes as rewards would be cool. City - GTA nation, all cities from previous GTAs + some new ones in the middle.
  25. You can't violate what you can't catch (the Bullit also came back in '02 or '03) But seriously which General are you talking about, old or new.
