That depends on whether your laptop is upgradeable or not. Most laptops have graphics "cards" permanently installed & can't be replaced (unless you desolder & solder in a new one). You could try increasing the RAM but no promise how much that'll help.

... or you could edit SHOPPING.DAT to put the clothes in Suburban or Binco. BACK UP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!! If nothing else, SHOPPING.DAT will tell you what models are used for the tux & give you the model names you want.

^^^ Another R* game, so you would expect at least a decent level of quality & gameplay. I'm guessing Warriors is similar to GTA but w/out cars?

Add to my previous suggestions. Any silenced pistol & a silenced SMG. As long as you weren't "seen" no police/gang attention. Stealth kills, w/ knife or by hand. Same as above. Return of some of the classic vehicles - Cheetah, Mesa, Hotknife, Etc.

I would guess it's a glitch w/ the phone model as your game bombs out when you get a call. Try putting the original phone back in place & see if that helps. I think the "Back Yard" mod is stable (by Deji?) but don't know if it's been tested w/ other mods. I made a similar script mod & don't think weapon/vehicle spawns are the problem.

Got a good cheap game? tell us about it. No flaming/fanboyism (but you guys already know that). A couple weeks back I picked up Test Drive: Unlimited (X360) to kill a little time w/ my kid for $17 from one of the local Gameshops & was pleasently shocked. TDU is one of the best games X360 I have. The scenery looks more like PS2 Gran Turismo but is collision modeled so you can drive across fields & through trees. The map is huge & detailed & there's plenty of side missions to earn $$$ for cars. The handling is good for all the cars & so far I've been able to win races w/ ALL the cars I've bought & they drive decently. The roads are well modeled & the GPS is one of the better ones I've seen. X360 version supports online racing. You start at an airport to set up your player & after a short cutscene you get off in Hawaii w/ $200k, rent a car to drive to a real estate office & car dealer, then take your first race & drive back to your house. Once done, you're turned loose to explore a surprisingly detailed island of Oahu (the big island). After only a couple hours I racked up some decent $$$ & bought several good cars. My collection so far (after playing for a week)- Audi Quattro TT Coupe. First car, fun to drive & wins races in it's class. '73 Firebird Trans Am. Good muscle car for $30k '6? Jag XK Coupe. One of my favorites from GT4, does well in it's class '06 Mustang GT. It's a 'Stang, duh. '71 Challenger. Old school Hemi, can keep up w/ the Jag. Shelby GT500. Old school 'Stang, duh. AC 289. Direct predecessor to the Shelby Cobra, this car moves & is the first time I've seen decent handling in a game. Dodge Viper SR10. Just not my favorite but still handles better than cars in other games, needs tuned. Lotus Espirit V8. Bargain @ $50k. Tune to max performance for another $65k. My favorite so far is the Shelby Daytona Coupe ($1 mil). Short version, great game for under $20.

I'm not good enough at script coding to do it but this occurs. Edit mission "0". Put the parts you want added at the beginning & place the call for the opening cut-scene between that & the original part.

Did you remember to remove (EXPORT & DELETE best) the original player models? If not you have the old models in their original place & the new ones at the end of the IMG file, so the game sees the first one & ignores the new one. Surprisingly, the game will run. I made the same mistake playing around w/ the Hotknife TXDs. I mentioned EXPORT & DELETE because if you don't like the way the new player looks you'll have the originals handy. An old issue w/ IMG tools is the REPLACE function not working right (may have been fixed in newer versions).

That would make a good addition & some of the GTA3/LCS missions revamped for GTA4.

Enthusia Racing. A game so bad that I blocked it from my memory until recently. Cars had horrible handling, tracks were full of blind turns (severe time penalties for leaving pavement) & got boring fast. The 427 Cobra literally couldn't stay on the track under acceleration. Overall it was a poor rip-off of Gran Turismo. Put this one next to "187 Ride or Die", in the dumpster.

Every time I had an "Unhandled Exception" it was from one of the models I installed & removing it fixed the problem. The IMG files are huge compared to the DATA files like .IDE, .DAT & .CFG. Your best bet is to re-install the original from your disc & back it up before you install any mods. Once you start modding, only install one mod at a time & test it by putting the car to be changed in a garage. Save, change the model & reload the game to test the new car that's now in your garage. Drive it around the city a bit & if you like it back up GTA3.IMG & any DATA files you edited for the car. If not just copy the backup files back over the modded files. This will also tell you which cars/models are causing the unhandled exception. Don't feel bad, you're not the first & won't be the last to make that mistake.

You might be able to lower some of the settings in OPTIONS, but the cars look high-res. The best cure for that is more memory & better video card.

Ambulance chasing jackass lawyers. Because one did NOT do his job correctly (at $180 US an hour) The stock I was supposed to inherit got cut in half. The account is to be liquidated & divided between myself & 2 sisters. It will incur about 25% in taxes. Another lawyer handling my youngest sister's bankruptcy found out about the stock & went after it even though the will clearly stipulates it's mine, because he found a loophole & lobbied the estate lawyer on behalf of the bankruptcy court. The dumbass admitted in front of the whole family that maybe he should found out exactly what assets were involved when he wrote up the will (while his client was still alive, not 6 months after his death). That's aggravating. I'm going to go kill something now.

I'm taking the easy out. I know a direct dealer for AMD & for a couple 2-liters & a pack of cigs he'll show me exactly what I'll need. Plus he can get me a good price on the parts. Rocket Box 6.0 will be born.

What file did you edit? I presume it's WEAPON.DAT & you probably need to put the original data back in it. Pick them up at auction w/ 200k or so for about $3000 & most of the work is already done for building a hotrod. Those Volvos should make Brit soccer moms happy. Partial to a plain black Ford Crown Vic, but they all look bad from the back seat (or so I've been told).
