It's a utility present in Windows that allows you to undo untoward incidents on your rig, go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools and then click on System Restore. Tell the computer to bring back your computer's state to an earlier time; you will see a calendar and another list box after that, bold numbers mean that a restore point is available.
-
And how's the map today??
-
Assuming that you're on XP, have you tried the System Restore applet? I've tried that once when I installed a wrong modem driver at the school's terminals...
-
Alright then...
-
Nope, beacuse I thought of the group as rather like The Three Stooges after I watched a video of those bikers doing things awkwardly...
-
We might use this... Or this... Oh, yeah, that would be berry hilarious... Also, we might make a parody character named Charlotte, you know, a spoof of Strawberry S.? A beer-drinking, awkward redhead twenty-something that's the owner of the Lowrider Shop... Kinda' like Nikki of NFS Carbon, or something...
-
And you did some research about Taguig, too... As far as I know the town was known for street crimes for many years now, although it's not really too much of a Liberty City-esque gang land today. And it's a pleasure that Christina Aguilera will have a concert there...hehe!
-
The Strawberryland area may be located in Navotas, as seen in the map, but I'm not really that familiar with the Area 69's location...I dunno...
-
OK, the protagonists' gang name would perhaps be like Tribo Ni Jose (Filipino for Joe's Tribe). The Fili Kings and other gangs may be left as they are...
-
Yeah, they are lollipops; imagine lowriders and bling-clad rappers passing by on that area...hehe!!
-
Add it, if you like...
-
I will add it; Urbanoutlaw and me will replace the hidden Area 69 with Strawberryland. We might do something like the one below:
-
We'll add more stuff to it (palette swaps, textures, etc.). I'll take care of the billboards and road sign stuff... As of now, I did some cosmetic tweaks to my GTA site...
-
It will be turned into a game; Urbanoutlaw and I made some technical stuff, Moo Mapping, TXD, etc...
-
So will this make it in Grand Theft Wiki??
-
And I'll work on the development, too. Have you checked out my wiki page? Any additional stuff to add?
-
Oh, and the storyline, we'll add some corrupt government officials in the scene - fictional, that is, since using real ones would be crapshoot. Like bribe-hungry cops (they're really common there) and some other characters. CJ Johnson, Tommy Vercetti and Claude may also make good supporting characters, and let's put some comic relief in this game, shall we?

Like the revenge bit; I'm currently doing texture stuff, but I'm still busy doing some college stuff. Good thing the schedule wasn't really that hectic, since I have ample time for other stuff... And I made a better logo for the game in Photoshop: I hope you guys LOL'd at it...

I made an article about this project in my wiki, it's in here: http://lpgunitmusic.110mb.com/wiki/index.p...ft_Auto:_Manila And I think the everyday fatal shooting thing was too much; corruption is a much more appropriate descriptor. We should have given the name Jose Delos Reyes for the protagonist, too... Also, we must be careful not to give the city a stereotypical depiction to prevent any controversies or stuff... I think I may give better names for the Filipino gangs, too... I hope this will make it in Grand Theft Wiki...

Nope, I don't give a rant or two about GTA... - Grumpy Bear Now that's what I'm talking about!! The story about making Manila as the location for the GTA mod started when I read a reply in a GTA IV location wishlist thread from a Filipino guy named o.g jplip repeatedly suggested this city as a location for the upcoming GTA Part Four game. Liberty City was chosen instead, and the Filipino guy's dream dwindled into a dream. I currently live in a suburb near Manila, so I know a lot about that city. Actually, the map Woozie made was too large to my tastes; since the map below is about 14 square miles, and San Andreas is 17 sq. miles... This project came to life when me, Urbanoutlaw and the other guys were talking about Paris Hilton. Outlaw then mentioned the mod idea, so it all ended up with this. I also thought of this city as a fitting place for the mod pack, since the city is actually plagued by gangs, corruption (some of the government officials there were like as worse as the Liberty City gangs), traffic jams, and poverty, as evidenced by the shanties. It's not really the worse place to live in the Philippines, but I think the political climate serves as a backdrop for this game. And it's good to know this project is the first game to feature a Philippine city... Here are some landmarks that we may include in the mod to make it more authentic: . Map of Manila (not Metro Manila as depicted by Woozie) Manila City Hall, the place where the mayor conducts his usual affairs The NAIA airport, the Philippine equivalent of the Francis International Airport in Liberty City. The Light Rail Transit, obviously a convenient mode of public transport for those who don't have cars... Good Luck with the project and God Bless!! P.S.: Will this be included in Grand Theft Wiki??

I was thinking of parodying the video above, with the song "Jingoistic Idiot" I made a week or two ago. CJ Johnson came to my mind after watching this video, so he'll do the piano and vocals. But is it possible in SA Studios to make an all-white backdrop? I'm also considering Half-Life 2's Face Poser app (included in the game SDK) for the "argument" sequences between video game characters...
-
Thanks for the comments, Woozie, you really make my day...seriously...
-
Exactly...

The first rig that we've bought was way back in 1995... 500MB Hard drive (what?) Windows 3.11 No sound card Just a peck or two of RAM A mouse A ViewSonic tube (we used it for ten years until it went busted) And a automotive-style lock for security
-
This is actually the map that we'll work on, not the other map that I posted, since I found that was bigger than the San Andreas field... We might as well take cars from download archives, too...
