  1. The photo's formidable, isn't it...
  2. IE is for losers and n00bs, get Firefox instead, and use the Adblocker Plus plugin... It's a shame that a lot of Internet kiosks in my neighborhood haven't realized what Al Gore calls the "inconvenient truth", that MSIE is virus-friendly...
  3. Ouch... That's why I don't like being in there...
  4. Well I could have pwned those idiots big time if I'm one of the engineers who make car designs... Well, maybe we'll make a big online petition to show to the Chinese that we're not happy about what they're doing...
  5. And they're notorious for being a toothless tiger when it comes to consumer safety, they have lax regulations concerning lead (the element pb, right?), since there were incidents involving a massive recall of toys that were found to have such crap! C'mon, guys, what on earth are you Chinese boys trying to do??? Even Woozie might be disappointed to know that some of his fellow countrymen are notorious for making crap and spreading it all over the world... Woozie: What are we riding right now? Chauffeur: It's a Brilliance BS6... Woozie: Go buy me a Toyota instead!!
  6. $400 a month is $100 a week, which is $2.50 an hour before taxes. I hope your parents make more than that. The legit automakers should have won the lawsuits...
  7. Nope, they tried to sell their warez (no illegal software discussion intended here; we could have called those ripoffs warez, too) to the US and in my home turf in the Philippines, but they ended up with lawsuits like what was stated in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Wave#Design_rights_issues - and adding to the fact that they tried to sell a Smart car copy in the EU...
  8. Man, if Rockstar's busy at making parodies of real-life vehicles in GTA (like the Jester, resembling a Supra, and a Honda Goldwing lookalike) at a significant level, these Chinese boys are making this ripping scheme for real! How come the big-name auto firms haven't succeeded in suing them? Besides, according to a lawyer, in her website: It's a blunt argument for Shuanghuan (the people responsible for the CR-V rip) to say that they just made the SR-V independently, and that they did not reverse-engineer or otherwise spy at Honda - it's obvious that they did copy the vehicle, judging from the design. How about an angry mob and a lawsuit, huh, Honda? These Chinese guys are thinking big!
  9. My college professor has one; it's nice, so I'm planning to have my own soon...
  10. Go to the Philippines and you will see bike dealers selling shameful ripoffs of Honda motorcycles. And check out www.lifan.com - you'll see more ripoff motorcycles and stuff...
  11. The ripoff artists from China are bringing the phrase Grand Theft Auto to the next level - but, instead of Tommy Vercetti or thieves stealing cars for profit, the boys from the Great Wall are making cheap rip-offs of Japanese and American cars. And to add to the "Boo!" factor, one of their "masterpieces", the Brilliance BS6 (the yellow pwned car), was given a 1 star rating and a Certificate Of Pwnage by a German testing firm. Here are more evidences of Chinese vehicular plagiarism: The ripoff The original design the Nissan engineers have made for years Another gallery of wacky car crap: http://thirdeyedumb.com/2007/04/chinese_ca...s_likes_to.html Here's a quote from Managing Intellectual Property, about the CR-V rip: So, are Chinese automakers are to blame?
  12. It's on http://audacity.sourceforge.net - I had some great experiences with that...
  13. I'll record it; just put it in your User Tracks and that would be fine. And I don't care about my MP3s being, well, pirated... I'm also planning a video for it, using San Andreas, CJ as me singing, and a motorcycle... Besides, Chinese-made cars and bikes are more prone to pwnage than the more established Japanese and American firms - they merely plagiarize other automakers works and call those copies their own... How about a large-scale lawsuit, huh, Nissan? Ford? Chrysler??
  14. Lemon, as in defective automobiles or motorcycles...
  15. It's a parody of James Blunt's "You're Beautiful", about those Chinese motorcycles that some peple call lemons, or those that are unreliable or shoddy... Hope you like it... "Disposable" Parody by Huckleberry Pie aka LPG-Unit I wrote this as a response to those rather shoddy Chinese motorcycles - I don't own one, but their dodgy build keeps me and my dad from buying one; I don't want to offend those guys who build such bikes, I'm just expressing my opinions about them... Besides, they're notorious for making carbon copies of Honda bikes... I bought a scooter... (Man, was I too early?) [Verse 1] I bought a scooter From Chinese guys But it's a lemon That I despise My ride broke down on the highway. Guess it's better in Japan. It blew a bulb, and broke a rack, And I've got a plan. [Chorus] Disposable, disposable Disposable, it's true. The motor broke, and the tranny choked, And I don't know what to do, 'Cause I'll never ride with you. [Verse 2] Yeah, I bought this bike, It's a cheap ol' ride. And the motor just smoked, and it was, Nearly owned, And I don't think that I'll ride her again, So I had a moment that I really regret... [Chorus] Disposable, disposable Disposable, it's true. The motor broke, and the tranny choked, And I don't know what to do, 'Cause I'll never ride with you. La la la la la, la la la la la La la la la la, ooohhhh... [Chorus] Disposable, disposable Disposable, it's true. That scooter's a lemon, gotta' throw a grenade, I regret that I wasted time with you. But it's time to face the truth, I will never be with you.
  16. Read the following snippets from Wikipedia: Is this enough to convince people not to buy Bratz, aside from the misspelled title? As in, why spell "Brats" as "Bratz", much like the word "warez"? Anyway, I found out that the game Bratz: Rock Angelz uses the same RenderWare engine, and since Rock Angelz also has a PC version, you might find some time making fun of that game, by modding the TXD and DFF files for the game - how about putting Tommy or CJ in the game, huh?
  17. The 6600 was quite popular, as several of my friends have one... It was quite advanced for its time...
  18. I know what you want, but this ain't a warez discussion; if you really want it, buy it! And I'm not promoting warez stuff...
  19. A mix of mods and default cars. The alpha version of this mod doesn't change the radio stations, until we find a way to change the audio adverts into Philippine-style ones; the DJs there were rather corny and ridiculous... ...but it won't be the same ol' city without those zany DJs...
  20. So does my mom's 6101; she bought herself one, but after being pissed off at the clamshell, she then downgraded to her previous phone, a 6230. The phone's OS was rather too slow, and it's a shame Nokia adapted a smaller jack for the charger...
  21. Nice; I owned a 6230 once, but my mom took it from me for some reason...
  22. Ok, I'm not really good at modding (just some billboard hacking), but you need a tool such as moo mapper to make your own terrain stuff... Oops, I double-posted... sorry...
