Its awesome Love the idea for the car shop, i reckon its heaps good, especially when u need a quick getaway from cops ...oh and the skin didnt work? also thought i'd post here no offence or anything, your "new little haiti" crashed my game, i couldnt start a new or load game. it gets like 85% then crashes

driver? u dont need a driver for a MOUSE. ur damn right its weird... funny thing, when i went to play the next day, it works fine. no problems at all. now thats weird

Erm....ASUS. The one that came with my laptop. It's wired, USB. Although it's made by logitech, it has an ASUS logo on the top, and logitech underneath. Logitech M-UAG120 Didnt think it would help, I dont see why it would matter. Ok I might try what c/l said

Although it's a pretty good idea (keep people busy til GTA4) I reckon it wont happen Like, if they were gonna do it last year or something, then maybe. But I dont think there would be enough people who want to play it, and they wouldn't bother I reckon.

Ok, heres the problem. I load up vice city, its all fine. but sometimes, i will load game, loads proper n whatever. then i go to look around with the mouse, and it does absolutely nothing. could this be because iam on a laptop, im not sure. it doesnt do this for san andreas though. so what could it be? the mouse just does nothing, however you can use it to navigate the menus in vice city, so its not the mouse. oh and its wired

Hopefully it gets rated in Aus, the highest they will give is MA15+ so if it were adults only suitable, they would refuse to classify. so that could mean no gta4 for aus

**mods or op please change title from cat to CAR** No, you cant do that at all the game crashed cos, it just can't recognize what u added. you gotta replace, you cant add a new one. if it were to replace feltzer, then u backup feltzer, and replace it with the supra, named feltzer.dff / txd If u can undo precisely everything u did, your game will probably work again. to check your version just start the game up. down the bottom on the main menu (start game etc) will be what version you have. see there mine is v1.01

Anyone use or have this software. I find its good for playing some online games that generally have no servers in my area (or they are hella slow) because you and a friend both get this, one of you makes a server, then you connect to them via a VPN type thing. That way you usually dont have to go through USA servers so its a bit quicker. Got battlefield 2, quake 4, quake 3, nfsu2, bf1942 so if you guys have these games and wanna play this would be the way to go. I can post server details if any of you are interested. Oh its free, but the free version has a server capacity of 16 people.

Hahha this mod looks sweet So how many files get replaced for the entire mod to work? You should make a scenario - like a survival mod, use a "agressive" ped, give them all a ruger or something, then you appear in the middle with full health and a colt python and have to survive. That'd be fun.

Yeah since your savegames are from the older version and your playing a platinum version (aka v2) the savegames wont match and you'l get that error. if you get one of those dexdrives or something some people have uploaded their gta sanandreas savegames for ps2 online, so you can copy them off the net to a memory card for the appropriate version. u could always start again

Whats the actual TXD called? Or TXD's.... That way someone might upload them, but if you give us no filename we have nothing to go on.

Well it basically means that the checksum (a formula used to ensure file integrity) has "failed". Therefore is different - you have a bad default.ide Just try delete the entire C:\Rockstar Games\GTA Vice City folder. Then put your disc in and reinstall. Dont put ANY mods at all on. Then reinstall the multiplayer client. Then...it should work. Otherwise you're sorta screwed unless somebody posts their working default.ide, but this might not work because the game is localized in some situations eg A USA default.ide might not work with your vers of the game

So what is it your tryin to accomplish with this upgrade? I suppose you want faster performance for games, so maybe change the AMD64 to a higher spec AMD (maybe a X2 or something) - does your motherboard support that? Do the new AMD CPU's use the same slot or whatever? Then mayb change your graphics card - i dunno. Is it PCI-e already? Just upgrade to a better graphics card.
