this new nfs looks promising, i just watched the trailer it looks great. they just need to make sure there is: 1. Free roam (liek in carbon or NFSU2) 2. Customise mode / My cars (like in carbon) id buy it if it had both those, it looks good. and its on like every platform (PC, PS2, 360, Wii, PS3, DS, PSP, Mobile)

well technically i think, if you own the game, you can rip the soundtracks or whatever, but you can only use them for yourself, no p2p sharing or torrent, or even burning it to a cd for a friend. then again even ripping it might be illegal because you are breaking the copyright protection or something.

wow wtf... yeah i heard about this sorta thing already happens like in china and stuff. i dont know if they would do it in australia, i mean, what's their reasoning behind it, like subscription internet? the point of it is freedom to go explore sites of any description, i dont think many people would be happy if they decided to do this.

source this gaming computer is retailing for 11,000 british pounds. W T F, i could buy a new car with taht much lol. the specs are excellent, but not 11000 pounds excellent. intel core 2 quad qx9650 overclocked 4.4GHz 3 x 1TB samsung spinpoint hard drive 2 x 64GB OCZ SSD 2GB DDR3 RAM (i know, this price and only 2gb) 3 x Nvidia GTX 280 (in 3way SLI) nothing about liquid cooling though. i bet you could buy all those parts for half that price.

MTU test? if they are old modems, then its likely they've been disabled or something like that...the MAC address is not registered with the ISP or something along those lines. uhh, i have a really cool idea. i know your gonna say its dumb. buy a 802.11 wireless G router. $42 oh and since u hav 360, you need a $100 extra wireless adaptor. or you could put the router upstairs, since it has ethernet ports, then take the xbox upstairs as well, and plug it in. or go the other way and get a wireless PCI card for the pc ($20). then it costs u $62 instead of $162 or whatever, since you have the xbox using wired and pc using wireless. dont forget to set up WPA security too then you plug the cable modem into the wireless router, and you dont need to take the modem back and forward.

hmm..newgen rpg (sa-mp) has nearly something close to tht, except license plates. u can mod your own cars and it'l spawn at your house etc. but yeah cool idea

lol yeah this just sounds like you have a slower internet like 512k dsl or something, compared to your friends...i dunno cable or something faster. it would be the same speed as your computer browses, or maybe a little slower. if its a lot slower than your computer, then theres something wrong in your settings.

yeh abit annoying... i always get the "back in my day .... " speech from parents / relatives, sometimes it gets really annoying. eg "back in my day there was none of this computer games we would just go down to the park and kick a ball around" ... sometimes i just feel liek saying "yeah well, things have changed in 30 years." lol.

uhh i dunno about that one, the cpu and ram is good. but ur video card i wouldnt be too sure on. i dunno. if i was u id get a better graphics u will be set. (eg 8800gts).
