if youre in the middle of the track your riding on smoke will just be shooting the top of the train and not hitting the mexicans. i've found you have to stay to the outer right of the train track and then he'll make contact. I got them all dead really fast the last time i did that one. And i was surprised to bacause that mission really can be a pain in the ass.

I had a hard time with it at first too but once i realized that i dont need to have it floored all the time in order to stay ahead then it was easy.

I think there is cool stuff about each decade going way back that could go in a game. maybe i'm crazy but i even a game set in like the 30's would be cool. There was big mob action back then.. and you could drive around in like old model T's and stuff. And you could see like fathers of grandfathers of like salvatore or sonny forelli or something. Very unlikely that they would make a game based in that time period but i would definately buy it if it existed.

if its the late 90's and theyre playing 90's rock then it wouldnt be classic yet. If there is a classic rock station then it will probably be with 70's stuff like K-DST from San Andreas.

i think it's pretty much a given that we'll see Salvatore, but who elso from gta3 do you hope to see? I'm hoping to see 8ball.

I could do without loadig screens but then again i can deal eith them if they are neccesary. i can garuntee you will never see children in a gta game. i agree that the girlfriend thing is pointless. i think the whole ghetto gangsta thing was cool for one game but thats it i dont think they should do it again. And last but not least i dont want to see different safehouses with exactly the same inside. It ruines the whole cool thing about having safehouses different places. Each one should be origional (I know that would take a while but hey thats what these people are getting paid for).

well...speaking in more realistic terms it would be cool once they have made all the places and games they'll ever make to then at the end merge them all into one game where you could like pick your character and have free roam of all the cities and states

What they need to do is make the entire u.s. as a whole and you can go anywhere. Make every state and major city and put them all together.

I think the whole ghetto street gangster thing was cool for one game but thats it. That kind of thing definately shouldnt be the core basis for anymore gta games. I think it only works once. I agree that gta is all about the mob

real good i think. Creative writing is not easy so I admire you for that. One thing i've noticed though not that its a big deal but so far every game since gta3 regardless of where it is set has always started out in Liberty City. It's like Liberty is the core of it all. Maybe R* wants there to always be a tie back there no matter what. Just something to think about.

Yeah I hear you... we got way off the origional reason why i replied to this topic in the first place. It wasnt to argue over how famous seattle is... it was just to point out to whoever started it that my whole idea for the seattle thing wasnt solely just because i'm from there. Plus i realize that rockstar making a seattle game would be a longshot. I never for a second thought they would actually do it. sorry if i got a bit hostile sounding though. It's a stupid thing to argue about.

Well it's true that seattle is not as universally famous as New York. However it is no less famous than Miami, or say.. Chicago, Detriot, or Boston and in my opinion, any of those cities would work as a gta game. And youre views are based on the fact that you personally dont know much about seattle. not everyone. My point is... there are probably about as many people who know very little about miami as there are who know very little about seattle. I did't know much about miami when i ferst got Vice City, but i got the game anyway and loved it. I'm not saying Seattle is the most famous place on the planet, I'm just saying that it is definately well-known enough to make a good game. And I'm sure there are as many people who know about the Space Needle as there are who know about the Kyoto Tower.

Well thats totally fine. You make valid points. But the idea of this topic was to state who you personally would pick, not to tell others why there pick would'nt work. It was simple off the wall question that i thought would be fun to ask. And i did not say you have no imagination.... my exact words were "use youre imagination." If i'm telling to use something it means that you already have it youre just not using it.

I simply asked if you had the choice to bring one side character back to use in a game who would it be. This is a perfect example of someone taking a hypathetical question way too seriously. Also, if using a former side character as a new main character is using no imagination then i guess rockstar games has no imagination because thats exactly wht they are doing in LCS.
