Two leading Game retailers 'Game' and 'GameStation' have now stopped accepting preorders for the standard edition of GTA IV. Here what 'Game' had to say:

The game won't be delayed now its too close to the release, if there are going to be faults on the game, then Rockstar will release a patch to fix it via Marketplace and PS3Store like they did with Bully: Scholarship a couple of weeks ago. But Game is stopping with preorders now, I don't know about the others, but if you are from the UK and you have yet to preorder, do it soon because you will be disappointed because people who have pre ordered comes first.

Well yesterday, I went into game and looked at the fake box art they got still on the shelves, and on it was stickers on each case saying to pre order to avoid dissapointment, but now its just says coming soon on them nothing else, and I talked to the manager of the store, and she said, that head office at Game told shop managers via email, to stop accepting Preorders, because they are running low all over the UK. So good luck getting one if you haven't already pre ordered.

Heres what I have been reading this morning in this magazine. Heres some info I read, it includes stuff about GTA IV aswell GTA IV: DLC on XBOX Live Starting Autum 2008 So to sum it up its got everything you need to know about GTA IV and all of the other GTA's. I would scan more but its gettin late. And its well worth the £5, plus its the most intresting ive seen in weeks.

Ye isn't the Armor and the Health meant to go round the map, I read it somewhere, can't remeber where. I don't think R* takes screenshots of the final stages of the game, I think thats from a older version.

I didn't know where to but this, but if you are a fan of GTA, then you should buy the magazine I bought today, its a full mag of GTA History, plus it mentions everything like Sam Houser was in GTA III (The guy that owned Ammunation) Grand Theft wasn't going to be called Grand Theft Auto, it was gonna be called Race 'n' Chase London 1969 was actually Manchester And Vice City, San Andreas were just expansion packs for GTA III since all three cities were in GTA 1. And much More I have also scanned the front cover for you, and the magazine only costs £5. I bought it from WHSmith, and I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Im from the UK, well Wales lol, I was just posting some news.

It was recently revealed that GTA IV will be censored for it's Australian release in order to comply with the OFLC rating system. As a result many Australian consumers placed pre-orders with New Zealand retailers, hoping to get an un-censored version of the game. However this morning Gameplanet.co.nz sent out the following email confirming that the New Zealand release will also be edited; Australians will now have to import from Europe if they want to obtain an uncensored PAL version of GTA IV. Rockstar is yet to comment on what has been removed from the local PAL release, leaving many gamers quite frustrated. Source: Australia's PAL Gaming Network

Currys do create they're own boxes untill its released, so that could be a fake, plus theres no confirmation that Six Axis is enabled for GTA IV. So this in my opinion is not the real thing but a good dam find. But I will go to some game shops to see if there is a 360 version like Currys or Game

Might be, in SA they wanted to but it was gonna be too realistic (I read GTA History book I got). But it might be a chance in IV since can hotwire a car.

Ive never heard of a game needing to be installed for the PS3, or even if it was possible for the 360?

If you have seen and assest a new Picture of GTA IV from Rockstar, it shows Niko and a guy falling to his death. That guy is Roman Bellic. And the falling guy wears the same has Roman and looks like Roman. Check for yourself.

Sales for Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 and Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 cracked into the top five sales at Amazon.com this week as the anticipated sequel nears retail release. On Thurs., GTA IV for the Xbox 360 held a No. 3 rank, while the PS3 version held a No. 4 rank in the Video Games division. Grand Theft Auto IV is the next chapter in the best-selling Grand Theft Auto franchise. The Xbox 360 version will include two downloadable episodes available exclusively on Xbox Live. The title focuses on Niko Bellic, an Eastern European immigrant who travels to Liberty City. Take-Two Interactive in Aug. delayed Grand Theft Auto IV to 2008 from an original Oct. 2007 release. The publisher cited additional development time required to complete the title. The title will be released on Apr. 29 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. In Mar., Take-Two rejected a $2B buyout offer from EA, saying that the bid undervalued the software maker. Rockstar Games and Amazon in Mar. said that the two will partner to allow buyers of the Grand Theft Auto IV to purchase music tracks heard in the game from Amazon. Tracks to be featured in the game include Electrick Funk's 12-inch treasure "On A Journey", Elton John's "Street Kids", and exclusive trackcs like "War is Necessary" from rapper Nas.
