Okay... Now I'm just getting vain...

It's built into XP too - the Windows Update website is simply an alternative method of downloading updates. If he can visit that link in IE, he can download the updates using IE's proxy settings (which presumably work), even if the built-in app doesn't work.

Here I'm wearing Matt Bellamy's jacket, and modelling it for MishoM:

Overheating it re-solders the GPU back on. The problem is that it gets so hot it de-solders the pins, and (obviously) doesn't work. I have an Elite, it hasnt gone wrong once.

Fast reply is not java. It's JavaScript, which is totally unrelated and impossible to 'update'. If you have JavaScript disabled, that might cause it not to work, but usually that would mean that it is always expanded, and the "Fast reply" button is useless. Probably best to clear your cache, restart your browser etc. Not much else could be wrong.

What do you consider to be your race? If you're mixed, either choose the race you consider yourself to belong to, or choose Mixed / Other. Replacement for failed topic which mentioned religions etc. Do any black people play video games? Are any white people poor? Do Asians all have slitty eyes? This poll is the only way to find out.

You obviously aren't making very interesting topics then? Its not as if someone will definitely reply if you post a topic. Perhaps not many people saw it, perhaps the people that saw it don't care, or perhaps it's already been discussed already. It might have something to do with your presentation. If you tone down the big text and act more normal, then people are more likely to take you seriously. It's very easy to mistake someone for a noob if they're posting in caps or big text or red or something.

And I don't?

Well you never know when the jerries will come back. Gotta keep a lookout. This is the view from the chopper:

Out of the millions of people eligible for a refund of GTA San Andreas after the Hot Coffee scandal, less than 3000 people have come forward to collect their money. After disabled, inaccessible sex scenes were found to be able to be reactivated by a third-party modification a couple of years ago, this resulted in public outrage, widespread condemnation and a handful of lawsuits being thrown at Rockstar's parent company Take Two. In 2007 they agreed to exchange any v1 copy of GTA San Andreas for a 'fixed' v2, or offer a refund of $35 if they have proof that they purchased v1. Now months later, only 2,676 people have claimed their refund, in spite of millions of individuals having the right to a payout. Take Two were shocked at that result, and the plaintiffs' lawyer is "disappointed", and doesn't understand why people don't care. This has prompted people to claim that the case was blown out of proportion, and shouldn't have been brought to court at all. So it turns out that people perhaps are more tolerant of sexual content after all, or realised the effort you had to go through to access the content. Perhaps the all that controversy, outrage and hysteria was just some lawyers trying to cash in on the most successful game franchise ever. Source: NYTimes

I'm in London atm, so I'd be screwed if I couldn't do crowds. I actually enjoy crowds. Partially because you can absorb yourself in them and just disappear, and partially because there are usually some interesting/hot people in them.

Those numbers are looking quite bad from where I'm standing...
-
If you google for my name, almost every result you get is me
-
Yeah, they're showing up again now. They're just a temporary side-effect of our forum upgrade. Will be fixed soon.
-
Which numbers? Below your avatars should be your forum rank (based on how many posts you have, but you can change it if you have >50 posts), Rank pips (based on how many posts you have), user group, post count, join date, rep log (visible to yourself and staff) with a count of warn entries, and your country flag.

We're not suggesting that gay guys should turn you on. But it seems silly that a lot of men approve of lesbians (saying its hot/sexy/awesome) but disapprove of gays (saying they're sick/wrong/evil).

At the top of this forum there is a topic which explains all this: Gangs, Money, Store & Quizzes

Hehe, thanks guys

Thing about BMP is that it records the colour of every individual pixel. That makes it spot-on accurate for that amount of pixels, but totally useless if you zoom in or out.
-
BMP is a great format? It really isnt... Sure for pixel-by-pixel drawings it renders them accurately, but the file sizes are massive compared with JPEGs, GIFs or PNGs - they use up a lot of space and take ages to download. Use one of those other formats instead.

What shows up there (unless you put your own text there) is your "rank" on the forum. That's basically just a name related to your post count. Everyone starts off as a 'nobody'. Once you get 15 posts, you are promoted automatically to 'Shoplifter' (which is a low criminal rank). At 30 posts, you're a vandal, then pickpocket at 50. The highest rank is Godfather at 10,000 posts - which nobody has received yet. We do have 3 members at the 2nd highest rank with over 5,000 posts, which is the 'Don' rank You can see the list of ranks here.

I'm sure we can figure out when to close topics ourselves. Please stop telling us how to do our jobs.

I'm sat here drinking out of a vBullletin mug, but IPB suits this community better, for its user experienge, moderation, management structures and everything we've built into IPB (themes, mods etc).
