Yeah there are a lot of changes, but most of the ones I care about are for moderators/admins so I've not listed them here. You can see a much more comprehensive list of changes here. Yeah "pink menus" - the most important change - how could I miss that out?!?!

Today we have upgraded TGTAP Forums to IPB 3.2.0! Apart from a new style, you'll notice a range of new features, such as the black bar at the top from which you can access notifications and PMs. Generally, things are done a lot better in this version than previous versions, where some tasks were quite awkward. A few things aren't working, which we're working to fix: Skin (We need to re-make the skin for the new version, this may take time) Avatars (you can upload a new one, but your old ones won't show) If you spot any other bugs, errors or problems, please reply to this topic!

The very very top topic in this subforum is How to install a car mod. Even though it's about vehicles, it tells you how to edit IMG files. Long story short, you need IMG Tool, and remember to backup anything you edit FIRST.

We have a whole subforum dedicated to GTASA Modding

It is illegal to copy, download or torrent a GTA game without paying for it. Whether you copy the DVD, download it from a torrent, get it from a website, or someone emails it to you. Those are all illegal. Not only is it against the law, but it us unfair. Everyone else (who buys it) is paying for the game to be made. They are good games, and worth paying a bit of money for. It's only fair that you buy your copy. Please do NOT ask for illegal downloads or torrents on this website. You CAN buy and download the game from legitimate websites, it costs about $10. That is perfectly legal and I encourage you to get it. Download the game here: So buy the game from Steam or D2D (32-bit games DO work on 64-bit Windows, just not the other way around)

please help a mod installed with sami wont uninsta

You put this in the right place! First, uninstall GTA from the add/remove programs tool in the control panel. Then make sure you delete these folders (only one of them will exist): C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games Then install the game from the disk from scratch. No mods should be able to survive that. -
You should post this in the Modding subforum for whichever game this is. But yes, the only way to do it is to uninstall mods one-by-one, or in groups, or all of them, to narrow it down to whichever one is causing the problem. If it's a GTA 3 era game (such as III, VC, SA) then you could look at the GTA3.img file to see whether any of the DFFs/TXDs you modded are wrongly named or missing. You should always backup any files you edit BEFORE you mod; and test after every mod you install. That way you can quickly fix any problem.

Fixed that for you.

There are some people the world is better off without. And although it won't stop anything, it's the first real victory and should be at least a temporary sign of the tables finally turning.

I smell conspiracy. Yeah that's a bit weird, but there will be a good reason for it. They wouldn't want to make a big deal out of it as if it were a state funeral, just dump his worthless, useless, evil body at sea.
-
This is why you need to backup a copy before you edit (:

A device that you can work AND play games on, that is upgradable, can have the latest hardware/software, and can be upgraded... Isn't that called a PC?

The annual Member Awards are for more-involved members of the community to be recognised by the community. Only a handful of people will receive an award, but it's still a big event for the community. We didn't run one this winter due to inactivity (it's not very fair when only a few people are around) but we'll get back into this when things pick up. Hopefully some of the other changes will help it pick up. The Honours system (which shows up under your avatar) is new, and that's something all users can get involved in and work towards. This will be constant, not just once-per-year, and you don't need an admin to grant you an honour. GTA Gurus are valued members who will be granted a special honour (and a couple of extra tidbits) for being awesome at what they do - helping people and being experts on GTA. We give them a visible honour for the benefit of other users (to know who to trust) and to make it worth their while.
-
A bit different. Gurus (when the system officially starts) will be recognised GTA experts and generally helpful people, nothing more. They will not be staff or moderators and they won't have specific jobs to do. I understand that atm there is no real reward for just being helpful, and this is one of the things we'll be doing to change that (: </spoilers>

I don't think it's possible. The army guys have different-shaped models to CJ, and so the skins for them won't fit onto CJ's model. I'm not sure how to swap/replace the models. Maybe the easiest thing to do would be to edit CJ's skin yourself, copying parts/textures from the army skin you downloaded.

We'll announce that one when we're ready. Nothing to worry about (:
-
Wrong. We have an international subforum.
-
We haven't made an announcement about these yet, as we haven't quite finished. But they've been around a couple of months so we might as well shove one up! See the full list here

Awesome, I'll keep you guys informed. -
Being a Microsoft boy, I have the Microsoft Sidewinder X8. Microsoft's Blue-track technology is SO good, works on actually anything, and so much better than laser or others.

I finished Portal 2 the other day. At first it seemed very similar to 1, but I really got into it by the end. Storyline was awesome, the new features are cool, and yeah pretty cool. It has some replay value, but I'd like to be able to pick a levels to replay (not just saves). Not tried co-op yet.

New Members cannot PM people. You will earn Full Member status soon enough.
