MSN Status That changes if any problems arise at msn hq to let you know if they're central or a problem on your PC. Yesterday there were server troubles, but i used GAIM which worked.

Well its that time again. Everybody who agreed to help failed to. Akuma, Chris and Chris - i'll be in touch. I really need a few people to start helping out. There are perks and rewards to being a regular columnist at TTPN, including the possibilities of free hardware or software for use for reviewing. Serious offers only, and nobody just joining to say "can i have a free ipod". Thanks to the few who have contributed so far. Spread the word.

Hehe - don't worry, was the real deal this time. But let that be a warning to people.

Sorry, Aquador is not Jay's account name. If you're trying to hack him, you'll have no luck. If you PM me with your other account details, and your location, i'll let you back in.

Okay Mike. Let's impose some little rules. Playing fair. These are rules which everybody else manages to keep within, so you should have no trouble. Its entirely upon you, since you seem to like this site so much. No posting in red text No use of that emoticon No posting of pornography No swearing/cursing No 133t No antisemetism No racism or other prejudice If you manage to stick within these simple rules, everyone will be happy to have you here.

Chris... is it me or are you bigger than your bedroom? MVI, good to see you again. All grown up now - you look at least 13 and a half there. Are you tall, is that a half-size guitar or have i just not looked at a guitar in proportion for a long time... Don't think i'd like staring at your pillow - would drive me... dotty

How do I enter the Army base underground
Gerard replied to DingDong's topic in GTASA Gameplay & Help
If you get behind the underground tunnel gate you can roam the base freely. My method of choice is spawning/moving a vehicle behind it then moving your player to the car, using the SA Console. -
Hehe - this could be fun. Here are my inobscene photos - apologies if they oversize, i'll edit in a minute.

You thank him? Why? He suggested an idea we already have. Okay so we don't have an entire forum dedicated to making topics about yourself, we have one topic in which new member introduce themselves. If people need to be gently ushered into forum life by everybody talking to them and agreeing with what they say, i don't think they'd cope with the real forums very well. Most people would make a quick introductory post (after which they'd be told not to post in size 7 red impact) and then into the general chat forums to talk about themselves. The aim here is not to have as many posts as possible. We aren't here just to sit and chat about the weather. However there are loads of subforums here for talking about GTA, which incidentally is why people decided to join these forums in the first place, right? Random chit-chat is acceptable, if you want to talk to someone about something other than just GTA games, but i would presume when people arrive they would want to talk about GTA rather than need a break from it already. Okay maybe they need an offtopic post to break the ice, which is why we confine it to one forum, and why new members can't make topics straightaway.

Steven, there is no need to call anyone a dipshit - never helps situations. ANYWAY - in my life recently: Last weekend i was reported lost to the police by my mum, even though i'd told her i was stayin at a friends after school and left a message that night confirming i was okay. After all that blew over, my mum decided i needed broadband back and a phone of my own (not shared). Today i somehow managed to make my grandad buy me a contract for an E760 - one gorgeous phone i'm loving right now. Broadband should be coming in a few weeks, but a lot of persuasion is required to make my mum get anything other than 512kbps capped at 1gig/m...

Seems we're hitting a lot of milestones. Well done to all the team, past and present, for bringing The GTA Place to these heights, and thanks to all the members who've helped us along the way.

My review copy was due to arrive days ago. I'm sure Destroy All Humans didn't take this long. I'm looking forward to it, certainly seems like its a game worth having, although i kinda wish I had an xbox 360 to play it on in next-gen glory...

I think its about time the person who runs this site stepped in and made some changes. The actual forums themselves is a good place to start (version, mods and skins) then the moderators should be able to handle situations properly. Once these fundementals are in place, its a simple process of keeping order, enforcing the rules, and encouraging all positive activity. The older members will move on (some of which may not be adjusted to the new rules) and a new generation of members will come about, and they will be brought up here along with the guidelines. I suppose what i'm saying is that it will take time before results are shown, but there is no chance of obtaining positive results without long term commitment. Says he.

I never attempted to get 100% in either VC or SA. For me, I just want loads of things to be ABLE to do, and not HAVE to do loads of shit missions to get to any of the decent ones.

My DSL ran out and didn't get renewed... so its good old 56k dial-up for me.

*sigh* No - GTA Vice City was the fourth game to come out with the title of "Grand Theft Auto", but was really only a sequel to GTA3, using the same 'engine' to work on, just a different city, storyline and a few modifications (such as bikes and helicopters). San Andreas was only an improvement on Vice City again, so those three games are known as the GTAIII Trilogy. There is another GTA set to come out next year, which will be completely new (like gta3 was to gta2), running on a completely new engine, with completely new characters and locations - this is a new game, so it gets a new name, which we don't know yet, so we call this GTA4.

Although i did think that in July (after the bombings), but it was only one set of events which we recovered from well, as opposed to a disatrous catastrophe destroying loads of buildings killing thousands. Only 50-odd people were killed and only a couple of transport links were affected, there was no lasting damage. GTAIII didn't cause an uproar after 9/11, which did change the New York skyline forever, so why should a bus and a couple of trains prevent us playing in London? On the other hand, I wouldn't think it be very good if they made missions involving blowing up buses or trains. Other than that, i see no problem. COD - your sig is right - "Can't We Just Get Along?". Chencho obvious has no idea how to behave, and was probably brought up without having to thinnk about other people at all - just yelling his head off. And why the hell is he yelling at people for posting their bio - that's pretty much what this topic's for, although with a slant on what's going wrong.

You're accusing HIM of being sarcastic? I'm under the impression Spaz is a human, not a monkey or inanimate fecal matter. I also don't think you'd be able go kick his ass, considering he probably doesn't like just round the corner from you, and if you mean metaphorically 'pwning' him, then no you have no chance of that. You're saying the pussy you have seen is Spaz' mother's vagina. Thats implying thats the only pussy you've seen, and you haven't even really seen it. So he was right - you probably haven't ever seen any pussy - 'cept your mothers and yours. Don't try to trick, 'beat' or annoy the moderators here. Yes, Spaz is a moderator, only he has a 'member' badge. If you think you can just yell abuse at someone, just because they're right and you're wrong, then you need to do some thinking. Nobody else was abusive, just you - which proves that you are wrong, and earned the two warnings you have (one was an accident but I'm not going to revoke it). Just calm down or f*ck off, ok?

Your blood hmm? Don't give me ideas... *spills blood*

*runs for the hills* 'nuff said Anyway, Vice City was the first GTA game i got - and it was the first game i played all the time - the discovering new features and exciting developments. San Andreas is just interesting, not as exciting unless you actually concentrate on one small area then you find out loads about it, then its fun.

I was on about 'in a GTA game'

That isn't a clue, i'm afraid. You'll find many places, such as hotels and the stock exchange, have clocks which display the time in the main world cities (usually NY, London, Paris, Bejing etc) - its a business thing.

Agreed gore = realistic = good cool animations = realistic = good lego = not realistic = not good

It's possible that it will be a version of GTA4, with different missions - like LCS but for GTA4, possibly coinciding with the release. The city/cities or some of the cities in GTA4 could be used for LCS, hopefully with minimal redevelopment effort requirement. We don't want to see Vice City again, then San Andreas again before we get to anything new for the PSP. San Andreas would have to be crap because the PSP wouldn't be able to handle a much bigger game with the same features as LCS, it would have to be part of SA or with less features than LCS.
