It's not our fault if people scroll past the sticky threads. There's nothing we can do to stop people who are new to the entire 'forum thing' from posting questions that have been asked thousands of times before. We try to be polite, when asking people to use the search function before asking questions, and asking them to post in the correct section. In a majority of cases, people are often so overcome with the desperation to solve their problem, that they disregard any sense that the question may have been asked before, and would only require a simple search to solve. We've been running a good 5 years here at TGTAP ( Give or take forum activity, etc, etc... And i've only been here a little over a year), but we get along just fine without being advised how our jobs should be done. Oh, and er... we are perfectly capable of telling people to stop bitching and whining, and posting silly crap and 'Hogging' the forums... you needn't.

I have a theory on how gang placement COULD work When you load up the server, a screen pops up, with all the different participating gangs listed, along with maybe a short brief, some info, or whatever. To select your gang, you click on it's icon or whatever. To ensure no incorrect entry, the gangs could be password secured (same as private forum passes? - or entirely new, as delegated by the gang leaders) You spawn, and go kill some shit. This should be possible, i've seen a very basic form on one MTA server, it had just Allied and Axis, with no password protection, and no more than two groups... Gang coloured names would be good, as would predefined vehicles for each gang... other gang's vehicles could be locked out to other players? And i want easter eggs.... god help you if there's no easter eggs...

TM, good work, since you're rusty. The 2nd definitely looks better.... but, here's what I'd change... 1. Thinner borders... Including the whole image, and all the type. 2. Make that emboss / bevel on the 'TM' Text a little smoother / less pronounced. 3. Use two colours for the gradient, instead of a render / white gradient. (For example, a mid and a mid - dark blue, or a red and red orange colour.) Try and see if vertical / horizontal gradients fit better. I like: 1. The placement of the 'TM' type, both in relation to the height / width of the sig, and the way it sits over where the gradient is.... changing? (or w/e) 2. You used a border. Not many people do with their first sigs. It's an absolute must. 3. It's a pretty unique size... unique is good. Oh, and by the way, there's a random 'T' on its own, like just under the farthest left part of the 'M' in 'TM' - a rogue layer Guys, check the first post again, i updated it with some really random work.

ATI own at mid range value for money. Nvidia is the best for raw power. Jace is right about the 9800 GX2, that card is going to own. Plus, support for 4x SLi, meaning 7 graphics processors in your machine. (The other would presumably handle physics, but there could be 2, meaning 6 GPU's, which is still pwn) I had an old Radeon 9250. That thing was built like a motherfucking tak. Cost me less that 30 quid, and ran FEAR smoothly. Long shall it live.

Also, if you're listening, it saves you the trouble of thinking of something to say, because they're providing the topic of conversation, and pretty much everything you say will be relevant / unlikely to get you kicked in the scrot.
