  1. My point exactly. Just for the record, I'll put my F-150 toe to toe w/ Japanese or European trucks any time. EDIT: just looked at the site, the first bike's the one I've seen around (or exact twin) http://www.tradekey.com/product_listall/ui...motorcycles.htm
  2. I like it. I think the obscure angle was what R* was aiming for.
  3. You're just now figuring that out?
  4. I'll presume that's a no. I've seen multiple installs on games before, like for different scripts, etc. When I did Vice City, I had two installs, one for working out the mods & a backup that worked, in case a mod didn't work.
  5. Greetings from the US

  6. Try installing the DFF & TXD again & make sure the old ones are gone or renamed. Also, I seem to remember something about not using the REPLACE option in one if the IMG tools (can't remember which). Delete or rename the original DFF & TXD then rebuild the archive. I know this night be a dumb question, but you're not running multiple copies of SA are you? (like one that's not modded, or different scripts). I can't really think of anything else, good luck.
  7. That puts me at 8AM (local) I work nights & get to bed around 6. So 7.62 should have it at 7:AM (his time) BTW, thanks for the link ^
  8. Hang around Vinewood in LS a while, it's one of the areas they spawn. If still no results, open the file CARGRP.DAT in the DATA folder, find the entries for the Ballas or Vagos & add STRECH to their list of cars. This is a data edit & should not affect your save files. If you saved after using cheats, you may need to start over, R* made the game so cheats corrupt the save files.
  9. There's also a dirtbike sold in the US Honda's not happy about. The Chinese copied a Honda & supposedly it even uses Honda parts for service.
  10. Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\GTA San Andreas\models GTA3.IMG is the name R* uses for the IMG file in all the 3D GTAs You will need this - http://www.thegtaplace.com/pafiledb.php?ac...file&id=552 Again, go over the tutorials & backup your files before you start. Find them here - http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9653
  11. I think it would take a script mod, I haven't got that part sorted, yet. I can help w/ editing Handling.cfg for GTA3, VC & SA. Give me a couple days & I'll play around w/ weight & mass. http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry160470
  12. Did you install the TXD & DFF in your GTA3.IMG file? Did you rename or delete the original TXD & DFF for the cars you installed? Did you rebuild your archive? Look through the tutorials in this section & check out other topics already posted, they might help. STEP 1: BACKUP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!! That one really comes back on you. Good Luck
  13. I presume the sending unit is mounted on the bottom of the tank. Drain the tank & pull the sending unit, (leave the wiring connected) then you'll probably need a ground wire from it to a bare spot on the engine (A cooling fin on the cylinder works great). Manually move the float & see what happens.
  14. Start a topic on it, I'll watch for it. Otherwise the Americans will start arguing which engine they'll put in it, A Ford 5.0 (My choice!) or a 350 Chevy. Forgives us, we're Yanks.
  15. Same things make bikes run as cars, so they're fair game. Question 1 - How's the sparkplug look? Same for the air filter. Either of these would fubar your mileage. Are you smelling gas while you ride? Look for a leak. This could also be from a stuck float if you have a carburetor. If it's new enough to have fuel injection, you might have to put it into a shop. Question 2 - The fuel light should be triggered by the float that also serves your gas gauge. If it's not working, check the wiring to the sending unit first. If still no luck, drain the tank into a gas can & pull the sending unit, the float may have gone bad. Let me know what kind of car (or bike) you're working on, everybody builds them a little different. If anyone reading this topic recognizes a problem, feel free to speak-up.
  16. Looks like Smolenski wasn't getting the job done. At least Prodrive accomplished something. BTW, careful on the bike....OMG! HE RAN RIGHT OFF THE TOPIC!! Hope the little guy's okay. (manifestation blatant refusal to grow up.) And back to topic.
  17. No, not a word of it. OT Here's something you might consider good news. I found the bit about the new owners of Austin Martin, if you haven't seen it yet, here's something for British Pride - http://www.motortrend.com/features/consume...david_richards/ Tag, you're it agian & I'm escaping in my NEW Ford GT!
  18. Careful lad, here in the US I can see some redneck throwin one onto a Bronco frame & putting a Shelby motor in it, just to piss off Enzo.
  19. Had an '87 w/ a 3.0 a couple years back, you're preachin' to the choir. The A/C even worked.
  20. My "bland" Fords always get me home. Is the Chrysler Crossfire even in production anymore? I'd buy one of those if I had the cash, they were sweet. I thought the cars Daimler/Chrysler showed a lot of promise but that's a moot point now.
  21. So rather than take over Sky's topic on transmission trouble, I decided to start a general car trouble topic here. I can't promise to fix your car over the internet, but will try to at least point you in the right direction to get back on the road. Let's motor!
  22. Unless it was recent, it would probably be a good idea. Haven't worked on many VWs but a Haynes manual should tell you what you want to know about your golf. They're less than $20 US at most parts stores. I'm guessing you can get the gear oil (or ATF in some cases, check for sure) will cost about the same. If you haven't found this yet, you might be interested. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3...postid=39551095
  23. Yeah, the first one looks like he's a getaway driver.
