GTA IV Episodic Content Exclusive to 360, confirms Take-Two
Urbanoutlaw replied to Chris's topic in GTA IV News
Ditto. Any word on what the content will be? Also, any word on system requirements for PC?. -
This one could start a shit storm, so I'm just gonna walk away from it. I'm not worried about talking to you about it, I just have no idea who'll be reading this & there's liability issues.

Huckleberry Pie - The Pajero you're looking for was sold in the US as the Dodge Raider & I think the Montaro. They were the same vehicle sold through different divisions of Chrysler, maybe that will help.
-
That would be nice, I think I got the last working quiz.
-
Silberio Silva Da Great - FULL POINT!!! I knew there was a reason I like you! As for the guy in the picture... Photos courtesy of the "National Tattler". Authorities can neither confirm or deny the validity of photos.

I pulled this out of the "Readme for GTA 3 Supported Operating Systems: Grand Theft Auto III uses Microsoft DirectX 8.1. Supported Operating Systems are: Windows 98 Windows 98 Second Edition Windows Millennium Windows 2000 Professional (Workstation) Windows XP (Home and Professional) Recommended Hardware Requirements 700(+) MHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon processor 128(+) MB of RAM 8 speed CD / DVD drive 700 MB of free hard disk space 32(+) MB DirectX 8.1 hardware video card DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card with surround sound Gamepad (USB or Joystick Port) Keyboard Mouse I don't know how much help it'll be but you could try setting the compatibility (right click on the GTA3 icon, PROPERTIES) to a lower operating system. Have also seen mention of setting games to only use one processor to slow them down, but can't offer a lot of help, still using a single chip. Suppose I'll get that sorted after my next upgrade.

FREE!?!? That's funnier than Lamma Lamma saying the old school GT40s are better than the new GTs (Sorry man, you're just not gonna sell me on that one). Trying to tread lightly here, younger viewers. W/ the "pros" you pay them & you're done. W/ the GF, it's a little more complicated than that. Things like dates can get expensive, if you care, 'cause you want them to enjoy the date. And then things get really serious & you set up housekeeping together. The right person is totally worth it, it's just far from free. As you guys get older, a lot of this makes more sense. wackyfunsuperslide - Where the FRELL did you find that, I think I grew up w/ that guy! EDIT: Disregard question, you posted while I was still typing.

Charger's right, practice is the key. Specifically, which test is giving you trouble?
-
Bear - You could just show him my picture in "Show Us Your Guns" & tell him I'm your Psycho uncle! JUST KIDDING! Seriously though, If he is confiding in you & closed to other people, he might just have problems sorting out his feelings & expressing himself but trusts you. But you also have to at least consider there might be something wrong w/ him so be careful. Hopefully it's just teenage drama.

Looking For Mod Of A Vehicle That Can Carry Another Vehicle
Urbanoutlaw replied to Kirove's topic in GTASA Modding
I found a section of code called "Packer Car Stick" that's supposed to make cars stick to the Packer. I requires editing the MAIN.SCR (script) file. I haven't done anything w/ it so I don't even know if it works. If you're interested, PM me. -
Surprisingly, a lot like a muffler on a car. You're not planning anything bad, are you?
-
That would be a Wildcat conversion (Someone w/ the skills to do it themselves). EDIT: The .50 AK mentioned earlier. My bad, was looking at wrong page. Well, it's been a week & it's still here, so as promised..... Dragon Stealths, consider this my resume picture. Photos courtesy of the "National Tattler". (Authorities can neither confirm or deny the validity of photos.

I thought swimming was long overdue when SA introduced it, and liked the approach of building a skill. I think the next step would be sharks, stay in the water too long & you see the fin slicing the surface followed by....HEEERE's BRUCIE!!! Side note, Bruce was the mechanical shark used in filming JAWS. Not just a rip-off of Scarface, but an actual Shark ped that has own paths, etc. Oct 16 won't get here fast enough.

Pretty sure it's not the pancakes. I got a grandkid that can back that one up, thanks to another "fine young lad". Worry about Mr. right & ditch Mr. Right-now, if he's really a friend he'll understand.....

GTA does carry the MA rating.

And now a word from the International SPAM Society. UBERSPAM!!! Thank you, this has been a word from the International SPAM Society.

Take a minute & look for the tutorials in the mod section, you should find something useful over there. If you still have questions, look over the threads in SA Modding & see if you find someone who already solved your problem. If not, aks in there & see who notices. If you are using GTASA V2 (no hot Coffee), You'll need to downgrade. Look for the DOWNGRADER & related tutorials. Good Luck.

This'll probably give away my actual location, but my state got rid of inspections 25 years ago, same time insurance became mandatory (rates suddenly doubled, go figure). There were to many complaints about gouging to pass inspection & too many shops got caught passing cars for a pay-off. There are laws about keeping cars in safe condition like contributory negligence. A couple years back I sank about $400 (US) into the brakes of mo '00 Stang, and that was doing the work myself. Put OEM spec pads all the way around, had 3 rotors turned + 1 replaced & both rear calipers had to be put into a shop to remove the frozen guide pins. In stead of a solid cable for the parking brake (or handbrake), Ford used a spring loaded ratchet setup & getting the rear calipers off is a royal bitch for one guy to do. I think it's supposed to be a self-adjusting setup but plan to replace w/ earlier solid cable. Righty - for clarification, this the 3.8 I was talking about earlier, although from what I've seen from working on it & the 3.8 Tauruses, Ford used the same block for both. According to the dealer I've got the wide ratio AOD so I get a little lower gears in 1st & 2nd. 4th is a little taller too. Found an article about swapping the AOD for a Cobra 6-speed for about $500 (US) if you have the right software to tell the computer not to look for signals from the AOD, so I think I know where my next spare $500 is going. Either way, the 3.0 DOHC Tauruses are just plain quick. If you're into Tauruses, you'll be glad to know Ford recently announced they are coming back.

Lazlow was a regular DJ on the radio stations of all the GTAs since GTA 3. Looking for the cameo.

I'll start w/ the X-360, but I want a PC version too. And I want in the open file structure we're used to from GTA! I love putting my own touches in my GTAs.
-
If you're running Linux, start a thread in the computer & technical forums, let the rest of us know what you did to get your games to work w/ Linux. I would be very interested, thanks. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say I want an alternative to Microslop.

Bear - I think the guy lost any claim to "just friends" when he started asking if you were going to be alone. Guy's obviously thinking w/ the wrong head. I might be a bit of a ham-handed oaf when it comes to women, but I have more class than to invite myself over for you to cook me an intimate breakfast. I would have invited you to a quick bite or something on the way to the tutor meeting. What was his "reason" for wanting to do it at the same time?

Again, happy birthday!

Resistance fall of man complaint on the news
Urbanoutlaw replied to Harwood Butcher's topic in Members' Lounge
Free speech is a 2 sided thing, you take the bad w/ the good. But just because someone has the right to say something, it doesn't mean you're obligated to listen. Also, the makers of the VT Game (and the Super Columbine game a few months ago) probably did so w/ the assumption that the people playing it could tell the difference between a video game & real life. They're in bad taste but they have as much a right as R*, EA or any other developer to make their game the way they want. It's like TV, if you don't like what's on, change it. This just goes back to personal responsibility. -
1003 Posts! You been busy, meng! And happy birthday.
