Grab a couple of old buckets out of a wrecked import & bolt 'em down (just watch the fuel tank). You could even mount the seat belts if you wanted. Not the perfect solution, but saves a little towards the ride you want.

S10s aren't bad little trucks, easy to find parts & not to bad to work on. If you do get $$$ ahead, there are several kits based on the S10. Back pressure isn't so much reversing but just something to push against. Like I said, it's been awhile so I can't explain the details. Those Neons would run better if they ditched the fartcans & used a decent catalytic & turbo muffler & pipe the next size over stock. As I recall, US models have a 2.0 but Mexican models have a 2.4. The last Neon I worked on ('96 I think) used a K-car transmission.

Microslop is the worst thing that could happen to R*. They have yet to release a decent operating system that worked out of the box. They have some decent games but they fall way short of the standard set by R*. BTW, questions #2 & #3, you ask if it would help/hurt, only answers yes/no. Could rephrase for clarity?

For street use, a little back pressure helps. It's been forever since I read into it, but unless your running a full out dragster, you need it to help low-end torque.
