  1. From a programming point, it would be easy. Even w/ the old save system where script mod = new game, R* could include a utility that reads your old saves & "builds" a new one where you have your safe houses, money, weapons & cars form the new start. That would be a good tool for SA mods (add that to an existing save file editor), I'm just not sure how to write it.
  2. So... "Grand Theft Horse & Carriage"? An offshoot, maybe, but not the next GTA.
  3. Their license should be restricted to Faggios.
  4. I would guess that if it went fubar, the guts would burn out before enough current passed to damage your console.
  5. Authorities will neither confirm or deny the validity of photos. About $1150(USD) & it's a semi-auto. The receiver looks like an AK on steroids, but internally they're different. As for spelling, found hits on both. DRAGONOV yielded the following - http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=Dragonov&...6Q--,1227572675 http://www.isoldmygun.com/listings/details...emnum=910073734 - Again, it's probably because of where you live. In English, the name for the English language is.. English. In Spanish it's Ingles (this just came up as a misspell). Does that mean everybody who speaks spanish is wrong? It's one of those deals.
  6. A little steep, but an easy solution. How's reception & have you used it for multi-player?
  7. It's a little rough, but has potential. The floor is solid.
  8. Maybe in Macedonia, in this part of the world it's spelled Dragonov (countless references in various publications) & that's how it's spelled on the state registration papers.
  9. I guess I'm just old, where's the insult in "beard"? I've heard of "bearding the lion" (meaning you got someone good, usually humiliating them).
  10. I can't remember the source (one of the game mags) but as of GTASA, R* wrote their games on PC & ported it over for the consoled. When they released PC versions, they just put a few tweaks in & released their final build. The main reason for the lag is to get the initial sales & then they can get another run when the console version sales drop off. There's also the fact that PC versions are easier to pirate than consoles. In this case, R* is probably working to make sure the various audio/video cards & drivers will work right. There's also Christmas to consider.
  11. If Chris isn't cussing you, it's amateur hour (That's how I know he likes me). http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.ph...t=0&start=0 CLARIFICATION: The 10-round magizine limit was part of the "Brady bill", which has since expired. Under that only "new" weapons were subject to the 10-round limit. I still had no problem buying high capacity. If you can legally own a weapon in the US, things like sawed-off shoguns & full-auto weapons only require a permit & approval of the local police chief. Anyway, good luck on your topic, mine's old so don't worry about merging or anything. Here's my Dragonov (start running)-
  12. There's also a savefile editor for VC that let's you place vehicles. You'll have to look for it, but I had excellent results & the best part is that you can still use your old saves.
  13. Sitting or not, it still looks good. Looks cherry compared to my '63 Rambler.
  14. Same here, wanted to enjoy the game instead of just race through it. Once I completed it I got "Liberty City Minute" (24 hours & change). I haven't looked around much yet, any word on new achievements in DLC?
  15. Clarification: Are you talking about mods or downloading the game itself? The mods usually come w/ README files that tell you how to install. If the mods lack decent README files, look here - http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5959 Welcome & enjoy, read the rules, etc.
  16. Actually, she was chasing the parked car.
  17. The only difference between American & Australian cars is that you guys insist on putting the steering wheel on the wrong side, so yeah, I like 'em. Black '73 Falcon XB (in original Mad Max trim) is on my must have list.
  18. Tennant's leaving? Bollucks, I liked him. James Callis (spelling?), AKA Baltar in Battlestar Galactica. He's just enough off center to be the Doctor.
  19. Really? Thanks! (See above ) Anyway, welcome & enjoy. Read the rules, etc.
  20. Or get serious & build an Aussie block Cleavland. There's enough meat in the block to boar & stroke 'em from 351 to 400 cid easily (that's almost a full liter to you metric guys). The heads are far better than other pushrod heads w/ the one exception of a Chrysler Hemi & easy to find. Yea, we heard of 'em up here.

    Saints Row 2

It's worth getting, but some (sidework) things are going to take co-op to beat.
  22. That's the one where the game gives you a red "line" to follow isn't it? Looked good. Spent a little time doing co-op on Saint's Row 2 last night. Having trouble doing some of the side work? Get a buddy to help. Noru & I cleaned up in crowd control. I'm thinking drive-by tonight.
  23. Speaking of doors & stuff, I gotta roll. Need parts for a 100-year-old house. Later.
