I've been inactive for a few days & just noticed my script mod got approved (thanks) & is available to down load. It's kinda raw but puts a few useful things where you can get them early in the game. I have played it to 100% complete & included saves for the script. The game is stable, however I in inadvertently removed the from Grove Street at the end. I will correct this in the next edit. Some of the pistols have been replaced w/ magnums. The National Guard post has been stocked w/ weapons, a boat & 2 helis. The LSPD HQ & Dillimore Sheriff station is now stocked w/ weapons. LSPD has a police bike parked out front & Dillimore has a few police type vehicles. There's also a few other vehicles parked around LS that make things a little easier (look behind CJ's house in Ganton). Confirmed. I had a Shafter (preferred car of Russian Gangsters) parked outside tw@ w/ the door & facing north. When I left the computer the cops were still a few blocks away so I drove north, took the first left & wound up behind Michelle's place on a balcony overlooking Brucie's place. Ran off full speed & stuck the landing (car responds nicely to "aftertouch") & ran a zig-zag to just outside the police search radius. Got "Walk Free" achievement (XBL) for an easy 50 points game score.

It's been awhile but I tested in the mid 140s. At 6'3" & 275#s, I sometimes envy guys like L-RiC. I literally can't fit in cars like a Toyota Paseo (almost have to fold in half to get in) & look ridiculous on smaller bikes.

The file names themselves you want to leave alone unless you want to dig through the script & change all the references. If you're good editing TXDs you can extract the ones for the gangs & change them yourself, although I've seen a few like Huck mentioned (never used them myself). Just remember BACK UP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!!

Okay, on the rocket launcher you have to wait for the second island to open up unless you want to fight off a 6* warrant. The magnum isn't so hard, the easiest one to find is on top of a big storage tank on Charge Island just under tho toll booths & next to a catwalk that connects it to the rest of the water treatment plant. Plan B is get to do the Brucie mission which opens vigilante work. Go into the computer & look for CURRANT CRIMES & select an ON FOOT crime. The only problem is whether or not you can get to the criminal in time. If you do they drop a little cash (haven't seen any from GANG ACTIVITY & STOLEN VEHICLE is just a pain) & a weapon. I noticed the weapons get better as you go & had a sniper rifle & M4 while I was still in Hove Beach & they drop magnums from time to time. WARNING - Be careful if they look unarmed, they also pack grenades.

Okay, this just annoyed the hell out of me. I HAD a purple Hell Fury (think Jesse James bike), it handled decently & went right up stairs, I liked it. I was on foot after doing some vigilante work when I end up w/ a guy pointing a shotgun at me just after I got the criminal (he got my cop car w/ a grenade). No prob, I drop him w/ the magnum but magic cop shows up & tries to take me in. The guy w/ the shotgun had an orange HF & I figure he doesn't need it anymore so I take it. I HATED that bike, it constantly mule kicked & threw me every time it got near a car. I'd almost swear there are 2 HFs in the game that look the same but handle radically different. I finally get this crapsled back to Hove beach & thought I parked it well out of my spot & saved/quit. I came out after starting again & my beautiful ash-white Intruder (trophy that I took from bad guys working for Little Jacob) was gone, replaced by the orange crapsled. I rolled it into the middle of the street, pulled my AR (got it early, doing vigilante work) & proceeded to dump a clip into it until it caught fire. I rather enjoyed watching it blow up. To top it off, when I did "Out of the Closet" my purple HF got bumped & wound up on the edge of the spot. When I lost the cops I came back & it was gone. Why did it take away my purple bike that was on the edge of the spot but swap a car I liked for that crapsled that was 2 car lengths away on the sidewalk?! I'll rant about peds hitting my parked cars later.

Oh god, does Dad know?!?!? Agreed 100% on the wannabe DJs & their (totally gay) musical selections. Usually I get stuck w/ really bad R Kelly rip-offs. A lot of times I just turn the volume down.

(Not at you, just been there.) Oh yeah, errors in the DATA edits, a glitch in the model, conflict w/ other mods, etc. Suggest you install them one at a time & BACK UP EVERY FILE YOU EDIT for each time. I replaced almost every vehicle in VC & it took about a month (spare time) to get it working right.

Hello & welcome. Suggest you turn CAPS LOCK off (considered rude around here), take a couple minutes & read the rules. People seem to like glitches so your topic should be just fine. One glitch I've noticed is that sometimes when you jack a car cops don't notice until you move (up to half a block).

It sounds like you have "Hot Coffee" enabled, turn it off for the mission.

Just don't save after using a cheat. Zmoonchild knows a little more on this but I haven't seen much of him lately. Another victim of GTA4.

I kinda understand that you're fired up over, I had a beautiful metallic crimson Banshee Coupe that got killed in a race. I pushed the burned hulk from Francis international airport almost all the way to the Bohan savehouse (about the same distance, slightly straighter route w/ the car that hit me when it stalled. When I jacked a cab the game gave me a cutscene of the carjacking & when it ended my Banshee was gone. What criminal had your car & what island was he from?

Off hand, Sky's #s look good. For your info, the battery pack from a Toyota Prius costs about $2000 & has a 100,000 mile warranty (Presumably in a Prius). Something to consider if you plan to build one.
