  1. Check out RanxoraX's "Hidden peds" mod in the download database, he found 19 (as of the release of the mod) & got them working right, including voice bits. Dig around enough & you might find what you're after.
  2. Don't forget those nice buses parked all over star junction.
  3. Sniper rifle = good. Instead of just rushing into the site, use the sniper to locate & take out goons & work your way in. Once into the site use the M4 (if you found one, if not an AK works) & pick your way through them, use cover (right bumper, X360) & be patient. After the last major nest before the last boss, catch him trying to escape when he drops to a lower roof & goes up the ladder to the next roof.
  4. 742 kw!? What is this thing, electric? JK, what does that equal in horsepower? (I'm guessing around 500). You kids are going to make buy a supercharger for my 'Stang yet.
  5. Go after various achievements (X360, don't know if PS3 has anything like them). There's also multi-player, the GTA RACE is a real blast & you don't get as many HALO crybabies as you do in deathmatch.
  6. Okay, take a little time out from missions & explore. From your savehouse in Bohan, go around the block & look on the roof (almost under the railroad tracks) of the Sprunk Factory for the SMG. Straight south of there is a building under construction, find armor on the 3rd floor. Across from the savehouse to the West is a guy ranting, the door next to him opens (This is the same building from the mission you mentioned). Find a pistol on the 5th (I think) floor, free ammo. Remember where you rescued Roman from the trunk of a car (just before going to the Bohan savehouse)? Go back to that street & look for a big rooftop sigh that says "CABERET". There's an AK on that roof, jump from the bridge to the highest roof (short drop, no injury) & drop to the lower one (after you get the AK) to get down. From there go north a block or 2 (I think it's behind the DARTS activity) to the building under construction. Go to the 3rd floor & look for the micro SMG behind a stack of materials.. On Charge Island look for several large storage tanks just West of the refinery & take the ladder to top of the one that has a catwalk connected to the catwalks across the road. Under the catwalk you'll find a nice combat pistol. Along the way, get into any copcar to get a combat shotgun (unless you already have any shotgun) + 5 rounds of ammo. I did that one until I discovered there are weapons located all over the map when I went into the stripclub & found the combat shotgun in the little office just inside the front door. Now go visit your dealer.
  7. I usually call Dwayne in the afternoon to night time, stripclub, bowling, drinking or something to eat.
  8. That's pretty creative & cab fare is usually cheap on short runs. I got lucky & managed to get the missions on the first try except for the first ambush in the park. Pro-tip: Have a combat shotgun out & ready when you get in the car. I'm pretty far into the game (around 70%, doing a lot of GTA Race on XBL) & still haven't bought weapons from Little Jacob, I just keep him in reserve.
  9. That's assuming the file types in GTA4 are compatible to earlier GTAs, But I'd love to have some of the new cars converted to SA, Especially the Comet. I'd also love to add a parachute to GTA4, Liberty just cries for base jumping. Get a 'chute for Get-A-Life.
  10. Location of Fort Carson: Get on the RR tracks at Cranberry Station (SF), preferably on a Sanchez & head East on the tracks. Follow them across the water & into a small tunnel. Exit the tunnel & continue East across another body of water & look for the green house icon next to the tracks, that's your Fort Carson savehouse complete w/ garage. Welcome to Fort Carson, a nice little town.
  11. Yeah, first time I tried that mission didn't work out so well. Got lost in the building (I HATE getting old) &, well.... At least you got out. Second time I tried the "direct" route & didn't even have to run. Alleys are nice.
  12. That depends on which model you have, the original PS3s were supposed to be completely backwards compatible. One of the PS3 guys should be able to tell you which models are & aren't.
  13. RELATED: The windows in the office are breakable, take a baseball bat.
  14. IF there's a PC version, it'll probably be 6 months after the initial release (I think that's the usual time frame). Supposedly, people from R* look in from time to time to get a feel for what their customers want so if you want it say so.
  15. Standard DS cat? I have one like that too, but the white on her chest is a little more pronounced. I rescued her from some crappy factory I used to work at a few years back (black cat + Halloween + half the people I worked w/ were convict labor = bad day for 1 cat, I prevented that).
  16. There's an M-4 on the west end of a bridge between Broker & Algonquin, between lanes & just above the RR tunnel. Friend progress is under STATS in your pause menu.
  17. I bought the . Once I ditched the sunglasses I was in.
  18. You have a mission where you . After you complete that one you get a call from Brucie & he tells you Stevie is looking for cars, that's when you start working on this achievement. There's another achievement for getting Brucie's e-mail cars "Filling an order" (I think). Speaking of Brucie & related achievements, don't forget about the street races.
  19. TURN ON THE BUBBLE MACHINE! (That would be the X-Box, later.)
  20. Just hard coren' you a little. You sky diving skills are unsurpassed. Now we just need a parachute....
  21. If I have a decent connection, I'm in.
  22. Nice find. I listened to half & bookmarked it so I can hear the rest later.
