I understand what you say. Our lives get busier and busier as we get older and what you did was very brave of you because I wouldn't even ask in the first place to turn off that racket if I were you, but keep in mind you have a great group of loyal friends here on TGTAP if you ever need a good conversation or just have some company around! That reminds me of something... People who can't/won't park a car decently. The other day I go to the grocery store, in the afternoon (there's a reason I do my shopping at 2 AM) & I'm driving my van (full size conversion). The only place I can find to park is next to some hoodrat parked crooked w/ their ass hanging into the next space, that I needed. I get into the space w/out scraping the car (an old beat up Caddy) & go do my shopping. When I come back, the Caddy's gone & some dildo parked a newer Chevy pickup even worse than the first one. As I walk by & notice how he just pulled in & didn't straighten out his truck, I say something like "Jackass retard" & kick his bumper. Mamma Kitty is with me & stops dead in her tracks & her eyes got wide, "He's STILL in the truck!" "I'm old, irritable & don't give a f***." was my only response. I load the groceries into the van & walk around to the front, patiently finishing my Sobe NoFear & enjoy the nice 20 degree (F, about 8 below 0 for you metric guys) weather since jackass parked right next to my driver's door. His buddy must have been right behind me, he slipped between my van & the truck (Guy was tiny!) & got in w/out making eye contact. They pulled out & managed NOT hitting my van. I finally got into my van & my kid says "That was Awesome!" & we all just sat there & laughed for a minute.

Scarface does that, puts police boats in the middle of a drive in theater. The one I usually see is at the Cluckin' Bell just north of CJ's house in Ganton, people spawn on the roof next door & fall to their death, usually drop $12. EASY $$$!

I know this sounds like a dumb question, but does your machine meet the system requirements (especially video)? GTA3/VC run just fine on my laptop but SA will barely load, video demand is higher. Any other games giving you problems like this?

I just saw that in LS, I think on the wooden pier from you finish "Management Issues". Where is the Mower parked in LS?

Looking out from CJ's stairs, Sweet is the 2nd door to the right & Ryder is the 1st to the left. Cheats may or may not have an effect on this, but it depends on which one. GTA3/VC give you a warning that saving after you use cheats (PS2) & problems like this in SA have bee4n attributed to saving after using cheats, although they occur much later in the game. There is a claim that some cheats won't affect your save from a source considered reliable who has been looking for his original source. If you have access to another disc, try it & see if anything changes. As for the controlling 70% of the hoods, I'm playing from the beginning & will test that one in the next few days for you.

There should be. In VC I had a couple Mad Max cars & the MFP cruiser (red, yellow & blue car from beginning of movie) had new engine sounds you could replace w/ an audio editor. It had the right sound for a little V6. You should be able to use a similar tool in SA, although I haven't played w/ it.

FULL POINT!!! Congrats Nate14, you figured it out. I can honestly that except for basic math, English (language & grammar) & shop class I've never used most of what i had to learn in school. When I went back for some college classes, one of the instructors told me "any thing you NEED to know, you'll learn when you get into the field" & recommended a couple calculators. You'll learn your permanent record isn't such a big deal either.

Yes, 70% of ALL hoods in LS. Sounds like you might just need to take a few more to open your missions.

Nice vid, Zoom. I see from your bankbook you've been busy. Correction - the Sea Sparrow is there, but until the map opens up it's a "no fly" zone & you will get shot down. I tried after I was on earlier today. If you get near closed land w/ a boat you also get the warrant.

I can't find the reference but i think you need to control 70% of Los Santos & at least 10% respect. How many hoods have you taken?

Nice ride, I'd drive it. It's funny, I hear kids (in the US) talking about the big bad Skylines & Supras & think at the same time kids in Japan are talking about 700 hp Mustangs & Corvettes.

You said PS2 so it's either a damaged disc, your PS2 or a corrupted save file. If you have access to another PS2, try your game in it & see if you get the same, meanwhile make sure other games work in your PS2. If you know someone else playing on the PS2 see if you can get a copy of their save & try it. As I recall, whenever you save after using a cheat on any PS2 GTA, you get a message warning you that your save might be corrupted.

For god's sake, make the engine (351C) look right! Who made the Mad Max '73 XB for Vice City (don't remember where it came from, no README)? I'm thinking request form them.

I think it spawns as soon as the Desert is open, is that correct? Loaded save file where CJ is doing LV missions & Raindance DID show up once, so VCG gets the point.
