DeAtH
4.30 hours still to go here. I don't have any fireworks this year.
GTA Don
Not quite new year yet for me, still a few hours to go. Apparently there's going to be an extra second to 2008. I'm gonna play music VERY fucking loud, I would rather go into town to see the lights and shit. We could have if my Dad didn't go to work. Not the best way to bring in the new year, staying at home but no doubt we're going to be watching the celebrations on TV.
Scott.
We dont have any in my city. We had a laser show on milennium and that was it lol.
Thomas.
I might watch the coverage from London on the BBC. They do Edinburgh but it's been raining every year for New Year so it's pretty pointless because barely anyone good is on apart from K.T. Tunstall and The Proclaimers. Only 5:49 to New Year. Thomas.
Yup the London BBC display is amazing. Indeed, I watched the Big Ben chimes bit that's all because BBC Scotland goes to London to see Big Ben strike Midnight. It's good weather in Edinburgh but just that touch too cold, as it usually is with the UK.
Husky
London sounds Kick Ass.
Thomas.
If you can on BBC America, try and watch it. I don't know if it's on over where you are but if it is, try and watch it. Wait, you can't, I just had a look. Look out for footage of London though, it's usually magnificent. Edited December 31, 2008 by Thomas.
Chris
It is, I was actually there last year. And yeah the BBC always have excellent coverage of the new year celebrations so that's always good. I think Sydney, Australia have awesome celebrations too. Dunno what other major cities do them but Sydney I remember seeing on TV in 2000 for the millennium, look awesome.

Chris
Just The Americas left now. London's fireworks were awesome this year. 10 full minutes of awesomeness. Anyone outside the UK watch them? Australia's in Sydney were also pretty awesome as usual, saw some of it on the news earlier. Anyone see the ones in Auckland, New Zealand? It's like they couldn't be bothered putting any effort in :/ But yeah, London owned this year. In fact if your city is not called either London or Sydney, chances are your fireworks aren't as good as ours! Happy New Year everyone!
Connor
London owns. This year is pretty cool already.
