mvi
This has been a massive argument, or at least at my school, flash is easier to use but can't handle data that well, whereas vb can handle data perfectly but isn't graphically that good. What do you think?
chris82
Look, I have both Flash MX 2004 and VB.NET. Here's where you make the decision; If it is a program that needs to be run on the web, or needs to be run on an Apple Macintosh or Linux system, use flash. If it's going to be a Windows-only-offline-only project, use VB. Anything else, C++ is the answer. P.S. Flash is okay at handeling data, check out my site's NavBar. Chris
While we are speaking about C++ anybody know any good books or websites I can learn from? I have learnt PHP pretty well so I guess I should learn C++ as well
mvi
Hmmm. At the moment I'm learning php, though I already know HTML, Actionscript and VB. I tried C++ but the book I got showed you only how to make simple dos programs. Although I've got another one that had free souce code in for graphic editors
Spaz The Great
I have no idea what VB is. I have Flash MX, but I chose the last option((can't choose one if I don't know the other)). I'd like to learn C++.
