  1. We have a Genesis II at home, although we don't really have a mother lode of carts to come with it, just a few... My cousin has a Playstation 1 (mistakenly called a PSX, althuogh the PSX is actually a more expensive version of the PS2); it is said to rival home theater system when it comes to CD audio...
  2. Perhaps Bully: Scholarship Edition will be using the RAGE engine, since Criterion, the guys behind RenderWare, was acquired by EA, one of R*'s rivals in the industry. I'll be expecting a PS3 and PC edition, too...
  3. The only beef so far with Linux is the rather bland mainstream support, that is, most of the big-name boys don't deal too much withe the OS, but with the pwnage issues encountered by Windows users today, the demand for Tux the Penguin is expected to rise in the near future...
  4. It's nice, although the only beef with the phone is the 64MB internal memory; that is, no provision for a memory card, and the rather anemic battery performance. I would rather pick a 6230i if I want a phone that has much the same features as the 8800... Here's my current phone, a used 6230i: It was only available for European, Middle Eastern and Asian markets; Nokia did not release an 850 MHz version for the North American market.
  5. The only cure for the "Glitch Theft Auto" problem is that you buy a copy of the SA second edition disc... I dunno...
  6. Although Ubuntu is a good thing to go, Linux Mint might be better, because it has native support for media codecs and stuff. You can download the ISO there, but I recommend that you use a download manager like Orbit or FlashGet when dealing with such humongous files...
  7. Yeah, Chris, you have something of a point - panning your window at different angles is as stupid as putting the ceiling fan on the floor...
  8. So far I've only tried the Xubuntu Live CD...
  9. OK, here are the answers, courtesy of Wikipedia: 1) Maybe about several million users and counting; since cases of pwnage with Windows Vista and XP are encouraging some users to follow the penguin 2) It depends on your needs; some distributions, such as Debian, are optimized for servers since they're less prone to errors, and some, such as Linux Mint, Ubuntu and Xubuntu, are, like Windows, are made for the average home user. 3) I dunno; Linux was originally written as a kernel (the core stuff that powers the OS), and since Linus Torvalds, the guy behind Linux, made it open-source, various flavors of the OS were made by the leet geek species...
  10. I'll help with the graphics stuff; What did you use in coding the game? C++? Visual Basic? Delphi? God Bless and have a great time with the project...
  11. Some songs from Justin Timberlake, Black Eyed Peas, Ne-Yo, John Legend, etc...
  12. Hmm, that's the reason why the Blendtec boys blended an iPhone...
  13. Too bad I can't help you with that... We experienced similar incidents in the Philippines, with a hurricane dubbed "Millenyo" (Millennium) wreaking havoc on my 'hood; the power lines were pwned, (adding to the fact that some of the street hoodlums in our town were making dough out of stealing the copper stuff from power lines) so we spent a hundred or so dollars worth of diesel fuel for the generators. I was sick back then, but we made some easy money out of charging everybody else's cellphones...
  14. Get Cedega or Wine if you'll use your Ubuntu distro, since you can't run Windows apps such as GTA in Linux without an emulator...
  15. Well, sorry for all the Chinese guys that I've offended in this thread, but it's just that these cases of shoddy, hazardous products concerned me...
  16. Goes to show ya', even some little girls hate Bratz dolls...
  17. It's just a matter of evolution; some scientists say that birds evolved from dinosaurs - the bird then evolved into a chicken after a few millenia... Am I right?
  18. I would rather throw a grenade at them... What a bunch of stupid whores...
  19. Sure, sure, we really need to ask those guys from the Philppines to join the modding team - after all, they like to see the finished product, right?
  20. I dunno, most of the products made in China that I've seen were rather shoddy, such as those Honda ripoff motorcycles; the plastic tail lights turn yellowish after a few months, and we had problems with my dad's previous VCD players - we had one back in 2000, but after a few months it broke down; we bought another one, but it, too, suffered the same fate. Then we bought a more expensive Philips rig; it lasted for more than two years without any apparent problems... My cousin also had a DVD player that he bought for 30 bucks, made with Chinese parts. It seemed to perform well, but it later suffered from disk read problems and stuff after a few months of normal use! That's why my dad calls such Chinese stuff junk...
  21. Well, as someone once said, better safe than sorry, we're not really sure if the Chinse toothpaste or cookie that we're buying is really safe...
  22. Yeah, right - I hope the consumers give those Chinese retards a taste of total pwnage...
  23. According to Wikipedia, it will only be available for the Nintendo DS, Wii and PS2, but no PS3 version - this means that the next-gen versions for it are for the current Nintendo consoles... It does suck...
  24. And even the Strawberryland denizens (including me) are reacting to this incident: And Tommy Vercetti too... "Go bring that piece of crap back to China!!" And to think that some of the toothpaste crap is marketed for kids...
