One of my favourite bands lol. Couple of years ago I really got into gothic rock/metal. Don't really listen to it much as of recently, but Lacuna Coil I'm always listening to at least 1 song a day. But yeah Karmacode is an awesome album. Taking this slightly off topic but what other bands do you like that we might both be interested in? We probably listen to similar music. You use last.fm? Are you serious? Better not be lol. This does look like a troll (dunno why you'd troll though) but I'll give a serious answer anyway because the Internet is serious fucking business. Of course it can't forget, the time can go out of sync if you leave it off for ages, but that's easy to fix just "Set via Internet" to get it correct again. As for your second question which is infinitely less retarded than the first...Well, Microsoft tell you to remove the hard drive before you send a 360 back for repair, I would imagine Sony tell you the same. If not, do it anyway so they don't "lose" it.

Epic album, not sure it beats Karmacode, but it's still a great album. Not Enough, I Like It, and Spellbound are my favourite songs off it at the moment.

TGTAP, AlanWake and PayneKillers are coded by me. LA Noire is just a wordpress blog. And OFP2DR is by a friend of mine from uni, which is a very heavily modified wordpress blog. But it's likely anything else we add will simply be using TGTAP CMS so it'll have the same look and feel but the design will obviously be tailored to the game in hand.

Maybe a cross between Mafia and Metal Gear Solid in terms of style? That's actually a bit hard to imagine, but it's just their use of the word "espionage" that made me think of it... and Mafia just because it's an older time period, Agent obviously set much later on... yet not so late we can call it "modern". Maybe it will have some sort of MP style to it as well. Not sure. Definitely going to be following the progress of this one though.

We do actually have a domain secured in case we do decide to make a fansite. I wasn't actually 100% serious when I made that comment but having read more about the game, or at least what's been revealed so far, it does sound pretty interesting. Perhaps in a similar vein to LA Noire? Obviously at a later period though. I can't really webmaster any more sites though so if it was done someone else would have to run it. I also need someone to run our LA Noire site too.

Just letting you all know that the domain TGTAP.com is now being used as the homepage for our network/portal whatever you want to call it. Those of you who had previously bookmarked that may want to change it to thegtaplace.com. Nothing is changing so don't worry. We just needed a homepage for it and that's the domain we're using. Just letting everyone know.

TGTAP's Twitter is set up (though not active at the moment) so feel free to follow us. Same at my uni. If you go in well early in the morning before any students get there we've got like 90MB out of it and same upload too. During the day its slow as hell though with hudreds, possibly thousands of students and staff using it, slows down to approximately 5mb connection Anyway, I'm back home now and now have O2 Broadband, paying for 20Mb and had only been getting a maximum of 12 the past few days. Bordering on 15 now though so it's improving

The proper version of Fraps is fine because it can do full res, it's dickheads who get the free version at low quality half res watermarked bullshit that make it look bad. But Husky has an HDMI capture so it doesn't matter either way, and besides you can't get the DLC on PC so I don't even know why it's suggested. @Husky: Meh, Vegas is shit, get Premiere And I hope your computer is fast enough to keep up with capturing HD footage, you realise you need pretty awesome specs for that right?

Videos are fine so long as soundtrack (turn the car radio off when recording) or in fact any music isn't being played. We're fine for bandwidth. We already use about 2 terabytes a month, hardly going to make things any worse. It's burstable anyway so we can go over limits with no overage charges. JOOI which video editing program are you going to be using? I'll assume you're on Windows and that you're using Premiere Pro for now. At least I'd hope so. I'm fine with this happening. Though of course I'd need to see an example video nearer the time, then I'd give you the tech specs to render all the videos at if I'm happy with it etc.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the UK law only concerns the sale of tobacco, rather than it's use. Obviously it's frowned upon if you see a child smoking but yeah... The legal age to buy cigarettes was raised from 16 to 18 last year some time so it's the same as alcohol now. Just so happens I was thinking about setting up a twitter account for TGTAP, as R* and a number of other fansites have, however I need to survey our users to see how many people use it. If not many people do then there will be no point etc. I do have an account but don't use it.
