You see the details underneath your name at the left of your posts, well underneath that you get stars put. You get big ones put if you've been bad and small ones put for being good. That's my understanding of it anyway

Go to settings then control panel and click on language options, click regional language settings and change it to English(UK) or English(USA) depending on which you are. As the keyboards are different in these two countries the symbols get messed up
