I'm with L-RiC on that. It's really awkward if (for example) your friend is eating someones face and you're sat there waiting for them. Even worse when its old couples. Same on TV.

'Shoplifter' is one of the first 'ranks' of members. The more posts you've made, the higher your rank. Ranks are not used for anything, except the name under your avatar. Everyone starts off as a 'nobody'. Once you get 15 posts, you are promoted automatically to 'Shoplifter' (which is a low criminal rank). At 30 posts, you're a vandal, then pickpocket at 50. The highest rank is Godfather at 10,000 posts - which nobody has received yet. We do have 3 members at the 2nd highest rank with over 5,000 posts, which is the 'Don' rank You can see the list of ranks here.

1) Do not create competitions. This is essentially a way for you to get loads of forum money for no reason. Don't do it. Gametrailers.com have an interview with Michael Hollick, the voice of Niko from GTA IV. Hollick was originally drafted in to do just the motion capture, and at that point he wasn't even told which game it was for. But when the director heard his mock Serbian accent, he was brought in for the voice too. In the interview, he draws comparisons with Andy Serkis, who did the motion capture and voice for Gollum in the Lord of the Rings films, after originally only being a placeholder for the CGI. ...somebody got upset To be perfectly honest, the political voting is actually funny. It's easier to guess who'll get votes than it is to guess which was the best song. Finland won in 2006 because of their music (that rock song). But Russia came second. In 2007, Serbia won (obviously), Ukraine came second, Russia third. See a trend? Russia also came 3rd in 2003 and 2nd in 2000. Same with Greece, coming 3rd in 2001, 3rd in 2004, 1st in 2005, and 3rd in 2008. See this page for lists of who regularly votes for each other/ This block voting is simply because of the growing number of eastern-European countries voting for each other. Imagine all the western countries voting for each other... UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg... that's only 7 countries. If they all voted for the same country (eg France) then they could get 84 points straight off. Now imagine if they were split up into 30 tiny countries, each with the same weight of vote - one of them could get 360 points. How do we solve this? Have uneven votes, based on population. So the UK has 70 million people, so it gets to dish out 70 points. Russia has a population of 142m, so it gets to hand out 142 votes. Serbia has 10m, so gets 10 votes. You'll notice the Balkan block ends up with the same amount of votes as the western European countries I mentioned. Surely this is a lot more fair, rather than votes simply being made up of how many governments there are in an area. Even if Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland got their own votes (currently all part of the UK) then that would balance out the situation slightly.

Can you clarify something for me... I've seen loads of these before but I've forgotten something. You need to get 8 people to sign up and complete 1 offer to complete an offer yourself... surely then it's impossible to complete an offer, it just spreads across more people?

Michael Hollick, who provided the voice of Niko Bellic in GTA IV has complained that he doesn't earn any royalties on the game. Even though Rockstar has made more than $600 million in sales, Hollick earns nothing beyond the original $100k he was paid. If this was television, film or radio, Hollick and the other actors involved would have made millions by now through royalties, even through getting only a tiny cut of the profits. Is it time for video game actors to be treated the same as other actors? Or should they just be paid one-off for the work they do? Let us know what you think in our forums.

Jack Thompson, the Floridian lawyer who has launched several misguided attacks against video games, has been recommended as guilty on 27 counts of professional misconduct by a Bar trial judge. 21 counts are against his attacks on GTA games, and a further 4 from his attempt to get Bully declared as a public nuisance. The Florida Supreme Court must now make a ruling on whether he is guilty JT has repeatedly attacked publishers Take Two for the supposedly inappropriate content of GTA games, and for them being apparently sold and "pushed" to children. The Bar trial judge, Dava Tunis, found the violent video game activist guilty of misconduct such as "Engaging in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation." The state Supreme Court will have to make a ruling based on those recommendations, with a disciplinary hearing planned for the first week of June. However, Thompson also has filed federal lawsuits against the Florida Bar and Florida Supreme Court in relation to the Bar charges and other sanctions. Gangs is totally separate at the moment. They could be merged, but thats a much bigger decision than just adding more private forums.

I was under the impression that "Retard" stopped being a medical term because it just became an insult. Just like "Queer" isn't used as a technical term any more, because it was abused. I didn't realise "Retard" was still being used officially. It hasn't been used as a technical term used over here for a long time, we used to use 'Handicapped' but now just 'Disabled' is used, which I suppose helps stop discrimination.

You're right. Thats coming at it from a different angle - it's not just assuming gay people are camp, its assuming camp people are gay. It's still negative stereotyping, the exact same thing, just in reverse. Chris sounds gay, but isn't. I don't, but am. Funny old world.
