A post recount was performed yesterday - this means that all the posts on the forums were counted to make up the totals again. Your post count may have gone up or down significantly as the forums found posts that hadn't previously been counted, and there are many reasons as to why that may have happened. You can rest assured that your current post count is correct. One issue is that posts that have been deleted still count because they are archived in the trash can. That means that members who spam a lot and have a lot of their posts deleted still keep the high post count. That is why post counts are not reliable. If we did make it so that deleted posts didn't count, then a lot of your post counts would decrease. We aren't going to do that yet.

I don't think its right to be honest - just the wrong genre of game for a fun minigame console like the Wii.

I'm a big fan of Samsung, all their kit is decent technology and solidly built. I'm not a fan of Sony, they have some awesome innovation occasionally, but they act like everything they make is sacred. It isn't, and a lot of it is crap. Sony Ericsson phones aren't brilliant in my experience. So out of those two I'd have to say Nokia, definitely. Good old reliable Nokia.

TM isn't that bad - many of his posts are decent and almost all of them are adequate. There is no rule saying that posts you make have to be over 100 words to count or anything, but it just brings about a false sense of superiority. I don't dislike you TM, I don't want you to think I do, its just that I dislike it when people flasely gain stuff. It's almost like cheating - I bother to make long, useful, helpful coherent posts only when neccessary, and other people reply with "yes" or "me too" to every single topic they read.

Oh really? They were once, why can't they be again? GTA 4 has been proclaimed as immensely different from the current GTAIII series, so why can't that rule change? I'm all for GTA London, in case you didn't know.

It's been great to see these forums growing. But 100,000 posts is a big milestone - the next one of that caliber is 1 million posts. We don't want to reach it by spamming, so I don't really mind if it takes time. This post actually brings the forums to 97,000 But this post is actually post ID 99,058 - that is counting all the deleted posts there have ever been.

I just hit 1500 Montana, the problem is that half of your posts are in the Trash Can. Not meaning to rain on your parade but anybody could make hundreds of spam posts.

Legit game discs won't have viruses in. Its impossible to add viruses to legit discs. If you're on about copied discs, the person who made it could have put a virus on there instead of or as well as the game. It would not be easy for a virus on your PC to burn itself onto a copied disc, that would have to be very advanced.

Right click on my computer and choose properties, that gives us your CPU and RAM. Go start, run, and type "dxdiag" (then choose "no" if a message comes up). Go to the display tab and it tells us about your video card and video RAM.

Why on earth would a video card remove icons from the systray? :S First thing is to check the arrow that expands/contracts the systray. Secondly, right click and choose "customize notifications" and "always show" the ones you want to see. Are there any particular icons that have disappeared? Any programs not working as a result of it?

If you mean like a shoutbox, thats incredibly annoying for visitors, and even moreso for staff who have to keep an eye on every line that goes through it. At least not everybody sees a bad post if one is made, but where everybody sees something that anybody can post, thats horrible. Think, how easy would it be to post a URL to your own site (breaking the advertising rule) or swear (with dots in or something) or flame or anything. Too easy. Most of us use MSN or AIM anyway, and the idea of the forum is to discuss, so I don't see anything we'd gain from having that kind of chat feature. Its not as if people will say "omg come to tgtap, its got a chatroom" (thats so 1997).
