  1. Nothing like using the word 'nigga' in a thread title to bring activity to an inactive forum. Thanks.
  2. You still download things when people email them to you, which would still be illegal. Slightly less illegal than someone emailing it to you piece by piece, which is silly anyway. Don't you have REALLY cheap computer parts in Malaysia anyway? DVD drives have gotta be like £12 here, so you should be able to get one and the game for like $20, if that.
  3. I would say click the Norwegian flag below your profile post thing, but it looks like it's broken :/
  4. Also no reference to Take2, or R*, or anyone. Could be a new TV show, or a radio show, or a movie. The dark, i stab in it.
  5. The console modding scene is a bit sparse to say the least. Firstly, it requires you to have a chipped / modded console - given all the stuff that's gone on recently regarding console hacking, that's not easily done. Secondly, I'm not sure it it's confirmed that the PC / Console versions even use the same filesystem so that tools may be irrelevant. As a rule, we don't support console modding of games here - chipped consoles allow people to run illegitimate versions of games, etc,etc... But it though it'd justify it instead f just locking the thread.
  6. I used to get this quite a bit on a gamepad. Never did find out what it did. The only thing you can draw from that is that the cheat may have been and up/down/left/right combo. I'd say from experience it's nothing to sweat about, but maybe just google up the codes and see what they are / might be and then find out if it'll affect getting 100%
  7. My issue lies within why alot of religious people get irate when people like me say can't we do this: without a god? Now, I believe that religion has, beyond any doubt carved the human sense of morality (which varies between what societies deem acceptable), probably for the better, otherwise we'd be on par with the Animals, where it's ultimately a free for all to preserve your own bloodline and lineage. Let's face it, working together has got us pretty far. On the flip side, why if all these religions are teaching morality, and love... do members of one religion hate so readily members of another whose standpoints overlap so vastly? One bible verse has always piqued my interest. "If a man strikes you on your right cheek, turn and offer him your left" - If I turn around and tell a Christian I think their religion is based on fiction, should they not simply accept and move on with the resolve that they know they are taking the right path? Instead I'd more often find someone that becomes angered and begins to attack my views and call them out. If you take it on the larger scale, should this really happen inter-religion - I can't help but think nobody can really agree what the Bible is saying - yes, ofcourse the are many interpretation and translation differences, but some CORE aspects seem to be confused aswell. For the record, I change my beliefs based on the information I'm presented with. If I come across a new way of thinking which seems more logical than the one I hold now, I pursue it.. I go with my gut. Some people may say this is a little elitist and means I'm a glory seeker, etc, but I disagree. If you like the Big Mac and think it's the best burger in the world, then go to KFC and try their new burger and it's better - like, clearly - I'm talking 4 bits o' chicken, 3 bacon, 2 cheese, no salad and don't skimp on the barbecue sauce better, then you don't stick to your guns on the undersauced, over gherkinned Mac Shack. This went on longer than I wanted it to. And had more metaphors.
  8. Well if they RRP at 60 then you can't go far wrong. Just had a massive price slash across their entire range of inears about 6 months ago so happy days. whiteheadhonesareforposersgtfonoob
  9. Sad to see these sites dropping off the radar, but hopefully it's the lesser of two evils, and we can maybe poke the one or 2 surviving members over here to help things continue to pick up.
  10. +1 with regards to acc. trying them out, (try in sotre, buy online) but I bought some senheisser in ear phones cheap from amazon for my iPod and saw the light. The sound is just soo much nicer. Anyway, I study with a guy who's a DJ and he uses these every day and the quality is just indescribable over the crappy apple ones you get.
  11. You REALLY don't need to spend that on a good headset. http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/1978602/art/Product.html?srcid=369 This is the headset I'm currently using and it's nothing less than utterly fantastic. Uses Audio jacks so it's driverless, 100 5* reviews on Amazon, does offer TRUE 5.1 surround and is extremely good in picking up those footsteps in both CoD and CSS. By all means go al, out, but i can't help thinking for £103 less you can have a perfectly good headset that has everything you're looking for. If you do want to splash out however, http://www.sendit.com/computing/webcams-headsets/razer-carcharias-gaming-headset/10054936.html This headset has excellent reviews aswell, and still makes you a saving of just under £60.
  12. Yeah, you cfan play it without logging in, i do it fairly regularly because my net's a POS. Just select play (offline) in the social club dialogue box and in GFWL just login.
  13. 1st link is broke, page 2nd link leads to seems to be amended. Without jumping to conclusions this seems like the sort of cast a GTA game might throw out. Also, for the English (England English) people here: Pretty sure whatever this is is taking the piss out of a certain Danny Dyer. Haha. /r/ing working link.
  14. Not...quite..sure...if I get what you're saying. If you're saying 'Global warming - look at the snow!' then that's a bit of an acute view to take as weather varies from year to year (fairly extremely in some cases) anyway. Don't be under the impression that by next winter all the eskimos and narwhals are going to migrate to central park. I happen to think climate change isn't that big an issue, and Mr. Gore needs to start showing people his pretty little graphs in more context. Also Excellent...?
  15. THE MIGHTY EVERTON! srsly though guys, learn to take penalties.
  16. Try a different downland mirror or older version of the tweaker tool, it might just be bugged. Also the issue with memory occurs because when you don't restrict it's access to memory, it will keep dumping stuff that it initially thought your PC couldn't handle, it was right.
  17. Tonnes. 4000 tonnes. That's like, 3000 ford mexico's, or escorts, depending where you live, or 8 dodge pickups. @nate: It's thought that *does calculations* a t-rex could eat 125 kittens per sitting at a maximum, after which it would need some time to digest, etc. I think this means the t-Rex opens itself to suffocation.
  18. I have a friend studying geology at Uni. Part of his course encompasses palaeontology (dinosaurs). We've been cooperatively been trying to figure out whether a fully grown male T-Rex could kill a million kittens. Or rather, could a million kittens take down the same rex? Considering that: and: Collective kitten weight is 4000 tonnes. Assumed T-Rex weight is 7 tonnes. Kittens outweigh T-Rex by 571 times. That's like a single Muhammed Ali vs. a single kitten, folks. Collective brain weight of kittens is 30 000 000 = 1.5 × 10to the -5 grams, T-rex is 450 grams. (Non-math fans, that's a metric fuckton of brain) T-Rex is thought to have a top speed of 11mph, a kitten nearing 17 or 18 by my estimates based on full grown domestic cats.

  23. Probably will be delayed... but I'd probably be willing to wait. Also, combat detials ahoy! More information has emerged on Skyrim’s enhanced combat system. Whether you want to be a warrior, a mage, or a distant assassin, enhancements have been made to make combat feel more brutal and decisive. Read on for more information on dual wielding, magic inspired by Bioshock’s plasmids and deadly ranged weapons. Weapons and spells can be equipped to each hand in any combination. This means you can roll with a pair of blades, a sword and shield, or even two spells at the same time. A quick select menu lets you organise shortcut keys to different weapon loadouts. Here’s a summary of the improvements to each combat style. Melee The animation system now uses Havok physics behaviour. It will be possible to throw your enemies off balance and strike for extra damage. Finishing moves dispatch enemies in different ways depending on the enemy and the weapon equipped. It’s possible to specialise in different weapons, including swords, shields, maces, axes and two-handed weapons. Specialising in weapons unlocks perks that add damage bonuses. These vary from weapon to weapon. Swords have an increased chance of landing a critical hit, axes cause ongoing bleeding damage and maces can smash right through enemy armour bonuses. Blocking now relies on a timing-based system, meaning it won’t be possible to continuously hide behind a shield. Shields can be used offensively as well. The new shield bash manoeuvre can throw an enemy off balance, opening them up for a counter strike. Shields have their own series of unlockable perks which can grant additional elemental protection. Movement backwards is much slower than Oblivion to make escaping combat more difficult. Magic The developers took inspiration from the impact of Bioshock’s plasmid abilities. There are five schools of magic – destruction, restoration, illusion, alteration, and conjuration. There are 85 spells in total to choose from. Mysticism is gone. Game Director Todd Howard tells Game Informer why. “It always felt like the magical school of mysticism – isn’t that redundant?” The spells that were formerly part of the Mysticism have been merged with the other magic schools. While you can only equip one spell to each hand, each spell can be used in a number of ways. A fireball spell can be turned into a flamethrower with an extended button press, or planted on the ground as a proximity bomb. It’s possible to dual wield the same spell for massive damage. It’s possible to dual wield weapons in different hands. Bethesda are considering adding an ability to combine different spells to make new ones. Attacking spells inflict secondary effects on their victims. Fire does the most damage, while lightning spells deplete enemy magicka. Ice spells slow enemies down. Ranged combat and stealth It now takes longer to string and fire arrows, but shots will do a lot more damage than they did in Oblivion. The developers decided to allow ranged weapons to become powerful enough to kill outright after playing an Oblivion mod that made a similar change. Arrows will be a more precious commodity, thanks to their increased usefulness. If enemies get too close, a bash move can be used to get distance. As in Oblivion, you can zoom in on your target with a bow. The longer you stay zoomed in, the more damage the shot will do. Stealth will work in a similar way to Oblivion, but enemies will go into a new alerted state when you are detected. During this time characters with a high level of stealth ability will be able to duck out of sight and avoid being attacked. The knife has been hugely improved. Backstabbing from an undetected position currently does 10 times the damage of a normal attack. Howard says ““I don’t know if we’re going to keep that, but you feel like you should be killing the guy if you’ve gotten that close and you have a dagger.” As well as the traditional modes of combat, a new Shout ability has been added. As a Dragonborn, your character will have access to a selection of war cries. Your competence with these abilities won’t rely on your spellcasting ability, they’re separate attacks. The two shouts mentioned so far include the ability to slow time and a skill that lets you call on a dragon to aid you in battle. Also digital version of one of abopve pics and concept art at Here.
  24. Title says it all... what albums you looking forward to this year? What are your favourite tunes right now? Who's the next big thing? Seeing anyone good soon? I'll start off by saying I know I've missed the boat a bit with dubstep, but really getting into it recently, especially remixes and stuff... (Trolly Snatcha, Nero, so on.) Along the same vein of British music, got cheap tickets to go and see Devlin with a mate which, given my soft spot for rap, should be good. Also the final tour of the Streets / Mike Skinner before he leaves the music industry (think he's going into films...) AND THEN... Blink - 182 in July supported by You me at Six which should kick some ass aswell. Also seriously hyped for Rise Against's new album called 'Endgame' coming out in March.
