You might be able to get your wheel to work with a program called SAAC (San Andreas advanced control) - if you map the conventional analouge x, y, zx, zy sticks as steering movements you could make it work. As for the pedals, SAAC maps controls separately for on foot and in vehicle situations, so the pedals could be accelerate, whilst another button could be sprint without conflict. Download page

Sweet, the card I've got in mind should sort me then I don't mind about the last tiny settings like 32x trilinear bilinear metrosexual anthriscopic filtering and stuff, but s long as i can surpass what you'd get out of a console by a fair whack :/

Was heading for 1920x1080 at 1080p so... SWEET. IMO Dirt 2 and Crysis are about equal, balanced out by the fact Dirt is just a bit more fast paced. Also lolno i don't play FSX.

Got my interview for my Graphic Design degree admission on Friday. Brickin' it. Couple of my friends have the GTX260 and apparently it's a pretty decent card. IIRC you're running a 22"...? But yeah it handles games at that res pretty well, not sure if it could max the very latest like Dirt 2 and IV, but it could get damn near... No experience of ATi's tbh and this thread is also relevant to my interests.
