Bomb squad prank - Oh look, I've been playing w/ my high dollar photoshop again... (Not my pic, just added the caption.)

I think I have an airstrip just east of there..... Ideal safe house would be an underground bunker, geo-thermal power & hard as hell to get at.

My '92 F150 4x4 bitch-whips any Honda in town an a regular basis. Like the sleeper aspect of Crown Vics.

Wow, that was nice. Back to topic - They are already in the game as models. Suggest you download a few IPL (map) mods & study them. Once you figure out the co-ordinates system, you cam place things all over & even make your own islands. Many will claim to place cars & weapons but I've yet to see one that works. There's also a co-ordinate tool & a player transport tool that helps to get your co-ords sorted.

Are there any save houses that store heli's?
Urbanoutlaw replied to macorules94's topic in General GTASA Discussion
Yeah, saw that. It's in GTA Vice City. My answer there was a script mod that allows you to make a save spot for helis based on PatrickW's "Marina Carpark" for Vice city. When I get back to modding after the first of the year (time allowing) I'm looking at adding garages & possible adding a warehouse to hold a lot of cars in each city. To your original question, no, there's just the hanger at the airstrip. -
Take the helicopter to the prison.....

Walk through the front gate that's usually unlocked? Gotta love Alderney's liberal government. -
That's when you pick up ammo that the other guys drop. If you're good at safecracking, the Friendly fire near the church has an SMG in the safe, hit it once a day. FF in the south Barrio (near race pickup) had the GDHC 50. Downtown has the AR 15 & sniper rifles are in the safes in Chinatown & the one across from King Grocery. Finish all your hitman lists for grenades, molitovs, pipebombs & a handy rocket launcher (21 shot)at your crib. I'm a horrible cheap-ass & don't pay for weapons if I don't absolutely have to.

Okay, you downgraded, that's usually the step people miss. Have you modded the script since downgrading? GTA saves typically only work w/ the script used to play them, so if you are running another script your save won't work. You said you got a message about "SAVE GAME CURRUPTED" & that's probably your problem. Try downloading it again & if you still have the problem, try again from another site. If that doesn't fix it, look in the downloads section for "GTASA Outlaw Spec". It's close to the original & comes w/ saves that I tested & work.

It's been awhile but as I recall after you take Salvatore to Staunten Island there's a glitch (at least on PS2) that temporally opens the bridge to SSV. I think it goes away after the next mission but you have time to explore & collect weapons.

I'll be on later (if my connection is working) maybe we could take a shoot at the tow truck. One guy drives & the other follows in a Bear.

I know this sounds dumb, but I hadn't noticed. I tend to look back a lot to straighten the camera. In SR2 you lose look left/right in vehicles & look behind on foot, you have to look manually w/ the right stick. You can still look back in cars.

Sometimes they (Attrazione) spawn next to the demo derby at ultra dome & in the ally behind the jewelery store in the high-end retail. A Zenith shows up behind the downtown Rusty Needle & next to the Brown Baggers by the snatch pickup in Red Light.

It works in Saint's Row 2. One of my characters looks like a psycho/amazon stripper & L-RiC can tell you, I'm dead hot. Sexual preference is the next logical step, I wish they included that option (ho-ing is just weird w/ a male client). No, you guys can't date her (except Bear, she'll respect me).
-
Stores aren't for sale in original Saint's Row, you only get $$$ for activities, missions & taking over 'hoods. Get a copcar & do insurance fraud, hit cars & solid objects to out yourself through the windshield. Involving a civil vehicle (includes taxis) is automatic 2X bonus & you get extra for passing the target amount.

Go to alchemy school & learn how to make Greek Fire. Quickly Robin, to the Wiki-mobile! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_fire

!?!?!? What are you, 12? Spend a little time driving the Sentinel & get used to it, it's completely doable. If you're playing PC version you can tweak HANDLING.CFG to give you the same acceleration & speed as Hillary's car. Option 2 is do a script edit & give Tommy a similar car to Hillary's.

(On SR2) Graphics look like standard X360 graphics. The PC version might run on my my old comp. I won't argue the issue on car physics, a 2800 pound sports car should not be able to just scoop up a 20 ton tank. Helis also need work. This could probably be fixed by a patch. If it's a legitimate gripe, start here - http://www.volition-inc.com/Contact/

Don't know if you count mods, but - I liked the FBI Rancher (Replaced w/ '85 Chevy Suburban but kept original handling). Took one just after doing a Haitian mission that was just sitting next to the cab company. didn't realize the 4 agents were still in it & I got away, w/ 3 agents screaming like scared little girls. I replaced the Vice Cheetah w/ a beautiful '73 Falcon XB (black, you know the one) & that was my all time favorite car. Yeah, I tweaked that one a little.

Are there any safe houses that can store helicopters?
Urbanoutlaw replied to macorules94's topic in GTAVC Gameplay & Help
One option is to look at PatrickW's Marina carpark mod, he included the script code for the garage. I think the only thing keeping you from putting a heli in there is that it won't fit through the door. I think this could be adopted to a helipad to store them. -
Been playing for about 6hrs in total now...
Urbanoutlaw replied to Crafty1980's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
The handling was okay for me, but I'm used to other games & their less than stellar vehicle physics. Fly a heli in Saint's Row 2 (Specifically the Thompson) & you'll never complain about the Maverick again. Point 4 (parachutes) was an epic fail for R*. All the vertical assets only demand base jumping & when I get the PC version my first mod will be roof access to most of the buildings. If GTA4 supports parachutes, look for a script mod that puts them in handy places. -
I didn't vote either, the options didn't include my choices. Worst - The original "top down" GTAs, just couldn't get into them. Going to 3D in GTA3 was best move ever. Best -- San Andreas PC version. San Andreas had it all (for gameplay) & almost unlimited modding. San Andreas set the benchmark for sandbox games, period.

I've beat the game & even got all the activities (50 point achievement) but still love to play, so I'm now open for hire. If you need someone to help w/ missions or just want co-op achievements, contact me on XBL. Usually on after 8PM (CST). Does anybody have a Quasar (Westside Rollerz SUV from first Saint's Row)?

X3+++ If you haven't played Saint's Row, get it first & SR2 will make a little more sense. Easy $$$ in SR, do insurance fraud w/ a police car & just ram things putting yourself through the windshield. If you pass the goal you get a nice bonus (they took the bonus out for SR2 ). When the read out says "LOTS" you have a good dive. My best one was $4.2 mil, involving the cop car, an ambulance, news van & a train.
