This might take a while but call Brucie & set up a race. If the race is supercars watch the parked cars around you, GTA4 still has the clumping issue so make it work for you. If you can grab a parked Infernus, you can still finish (& win) the race. Get the car, make $500 & the Brucie loves you. Win, win, win.

There's a script change when you downgrade, that's the part that crashes your game. You should be able to start a new game w/ the new script, it just won't work w/ your old saves.

That would be as soon as the second island opens unless the vigilante targets eventually get RPGs There's the one on Northstar Rock & a second in a nook facing the sea, under the construction site next to helitours. A Reefer or Marquise is plenty tall enough to reach but I've gotten it w/ a Tropic Squalo. The nook is the first one W of Helitours pad.

BACK UP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!! To edit the boards themselves you need an IMG editor, open GTA3.IMG in your MODELS folder & search through. The names will be recognizable. When you find them, use EXPORT to pull them out to your desktop. From there use TXD WORKSHOP (or similar) to extract the texture for editing w/ Windows Paint or graphics program of your choice. This will take of your needs if you want to change the names on the boards to match cars you've installed. If you want to edit the lists of cars you need to find (for example you want to add a Clover to a list) You have to open MAIN.SCR & find the export missions. You'll have to wade into about 550,000 lines of code. From here you can replace a car (like Sabre) w/ your Clover or add it to a list (Making it 11 cars). Once done w/ that, go back to the TXD for that list & edit it accordingly.

I have played the mission (repeatedly), concentrate on following the truck & ignore the gangs/cops as your car is invincible during the chase. Once Sweet drops into the car & drives then you have a damage meter. If you're playing on PC switch to the mouse for better aiming & aim for the engines of police cars & the driver for any bikes. You'll get 1 or 2 cops on your trunk, go for upper chest/headshots on them. Shooting tires screws their handling al;so. It's drawn out but easily doable if you can hit your targets.

I originally ran an 440 card when I first got SA, it ran okay until the video card died. I upgraded to a 5500 & SA loved it ever since. I replaced the card about a month after the first release of SA.

If you're going to mod, find V1, it doesn't need to be converted & has "Hot Coffee" in tact (granted, it's just bad cartoon porn) & is the easiest to mod.

Can you suggest a converter for BMPs to one of the formats supported? I know it's a dumb question but at this time I'm using a really great smokin' awesome graphics program called WINDOWS PAINT (Have you guys seen this?) that dumps my pics out in BMP. I have a ton of BMPs & if I can convert then to a more compact format it would save a lot space on my drive.

A mod goes wrong & you end up having to uninstall GTASA, Windows ADD/REMOVE may or may not get it all & when you reinstall you get the same problems back because the new install found an old DATA file. A quick defrag USUALLY gets the left over bits, but I think Huck wants to be a little more thorough than that. Sorry, not much help on registry editing. I guess I'm just a lot better at destroying things.

Hey you just said it too! Shit man, you're going to jail. Once upon a time, it was. Enter the First Amendment (& similar in the rest of the free world). There are still countries where you can expect to spend a long time in prison for just saying you don't approve of the government. BEFORE YOU START: Forums are considered private places & subject to their own rules, so if you start spamming or trolling, the First Amendment defense won't save you from the wrath of staff.

I went through this w/ mine (rent to own) & scored an Elite by the time it was sorted. The difference is that the Elite is SUPPOSEDLY re-engineered to prevent the RROD, having better cooling & better quality in assembly. So far so good.
